Abstract
Description
[0001] Description Title of the invention: Folding table with telescopic legs
[0002] The present invention relates to a folding table provided with at least two folding telescopic legs.
[0003] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0004] For a long time now, there has been a need to design folding tables, with the aim of both minimizing the resulting bulk and making them easier to transport. This need is particularly evident for people wishing to eat outdoors, such as in a park or while camping.
[0005] For some time now, there has also been a need to design tables with height-adjustable systems for the top, allowing a normally built person to vary their working posture at a computer screen. This allows them to choose between sitting or standing, depending on their needs and the time of day.
[0006] In this context, many folding / lifting / transformable table systems have been developed. These folding table systems include means that allow them to move from a low position to a high position, and vice versa.
[0007] Thus, the state of the art distinguishes three main categories of folding, lifting tables:
[0008] • “X” base table systems, with continuous raising and lowering movement;
[0009] • pivot-based table systems with manual or automatic unfolding and folding;
[0010] • table systems with vertical legs, with height adjustment using a jack or screw system.
[0011] Thus, as an illustration of the state of the art, known folding and lifting tables generally include an adjustable "X" base. Other known folding and lifting tables have bases mounted on pivots. These pivot-mounted bases must be handled separately, which results in difficult handling to move from a low table position to a high table position, and vice versa, because the handling must be carried out in several stages. And folding tables with vertical bases, the height of which is adjusted using a jack or screw system, do not allow the use of the worktop in a standing position.
[0012] Generally speaking, a disadvantage of known folding / lifting / transformable tables lies in the relative complexity attached to their transport, the limited adjustment of the height of the table top at sitting height and the handling in order to move from a high - or unfolded - position to a low - or folded - position of these tables, and vice versa. Indeed, known folding / lifting / transformable tables, to move from their high position to their low position, and vice versa, generally require several operations and / or the intervention of two people.
[0013] So in summary, the state of the art folding / lifting tables are not designed to be transportable without the aid of a vehicle, or the range of adjustment of the height of the table top does not allow a normally constituted person to use the table standing up, or to carry out the unfolding / folding of said tables, it is necessary to implement several steps and / or to involve the intervention of two people.
[0014] SUBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0015] One aim of the invention is to at least partially overcome the aforementioned drawbacks.
[0016] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0017] To this end, the present invention relates to a table comprising at least one work surface and at least two legs supporting the work surface.
[0018] According to the invention, the legs are telescopic so that the table is adjustable between a low position and a high position, the table comprising at least a first handle carrying at least one of the first legs and at least a second handle carrying at least one of the second legs, the handles being pivotally mounted relative to the work surface along first axes so that the legs can be moved, when the table is in the low position, between a rest position where the legs are arranged along the work surface and a service position where the legs are offset from the work surface.
[0019] This makes the table height adjustable, improving its ergonomics.
[0020] The invention thus advantageously offers an optimized lifting table.
[0021] The invention thus provides a table with an integrated mechanism for adjusting the table height.
[0022] The invention allows a user to adjust the height of the table alone. The operator can also modify the position of the legs in relation to the rest of the table alone.
[0023] The invention advantageously proves to be relatively compact when the table is in the low position and the legs in the rest position.
[0024] This makes the table foldable (because its legs are foldable). This makes it easier to move from point A to point B.
[0025] The invention thus advantageously offers an optimized folding table.
[0026] The invention thus provides a table with an integrated table folding / unfolding mechanism.
[0027] The invention allows a user to be able to operate the folding / unfolding of the table alone. The operator can also alone modify the position of the legs in relation to the rest of the table.
[0028] The invention advantageously proves to be relatively compact in its folded state.
[0029] Optionally, the trays are linked together by a plurality of hinges.
[0030] Optionally, the table includes a locking mechanism limiting the rotation of a rotating handle of the table, optionally on an angular segment of 90°.
[0031] Optionally, the feet allow the height of the worktop to be adjusted to different levels, optionally at a height from the floor between 25 centimeters and 110 centimeters.
[0032] Optionally, the table is shaped so that in its folded state it can be stored in a backpack and / or bag.
[0033] Optionally, the first axes are at the level of the work plan.
[0034] Optionally, the tray associated with the handle has a notch on at least one of its sides, the handle being arranged at the level of the notch.
[0035] The inventor was in fact able to observe that the notch made it easier for the handle to pivot around its first axis and / or made it easier for a user to manipulate the handle.
[0036] Optionally, the worktop is formed of at least two trays mounted to pivot relative to each other along a second axis so as to be able to fold the worktop when the legs are in their rest position, the table thus also being adjustable between a folded state in which the worktop is folded and the legs in the rest position and an unfolded state in which the worktop is unfolded and the legs in the service position.
[0037] Optionally the first axes and the second axis are parallel to each other.
[0038] Optionally, the table includes a temporary closing system when it is in its folded state.
[0039] Optionally, the table is shaped so that in its folded state, it can be stored in a backpack and / or a bag, preferably a computer backpack and / or a computer bag. Optionally, the handles are mounted in the extension of the work surface.
[0040] Optionally, the tray associated with the handle has a notch on at least one of its sides.
[0041] Optionally, the handle is equipped with at least one button allowing you to act on the retraction of at least one of the feet.
[0042] Optionally, the table includes a locking mechanism limiting the rotation of the handle.
[0043] Optionally, at least one of the legs comprises at least two sets of uprights and at least one crossbar connecting two facing uprights.
[0044] Optionally, at least one of the legs comprises at least two uprights, at least one of the uprights comprising at least one hole and at least one of the uprights carrying a cleat capable of fitting into the hole to keep the two uprights deployed relative to each other.
[0045] Optionally, at least one of the legs is extended by a base, the base comprising a base element and at least one leg mounted movably on the base element between a folded position and a deployed position.
[0046] Optionally, the leg is mounted movably on the base element by a rotational movement.
[0047] Optionally, the table has a stabilization system.
[0048] Optionally, the feet are shaped to adjust the height of the work surface to different intermediate levels between the low position and the high position.
[0049] Optionally, the first axes are at the level of the work plan.
[0050] Other features and advantages of the invention will become apparent upon reading the detailed description of a particular embodiment of the invention, given by way of example only.

[0063] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0064] With reference to the various figures, a table according to a particular embodiment of the invention is mounted to be movable between a folded state and a deployed state on the one hand and (when it is in its deployed state) is mounted to be movable between a low position and a high position.
[0065] The table has a work surface which is here defined by at least two trays 100.
[0066] Optionally, at least one hinge and for example at least two hinges and for example at least three hinges connect the two trays 100. For example, two hinges 103A connect the two trays to opposite edges of the trays and a central hinge 103B, arranged between the two hinges 103A, also connects the two trays.
[0067] 100.
[0068] The table is thus divided into at least two parts in the direction of its length. This means that the two tops 100 have the same width as the table but a different length (here a length half as long).
[0069] The two plates 100 are thus pivotable relative to each other along an axis A.
[0070] Optionally, at least one of the trays 100 comprises a frame 101, on which a plate 102 is fixed.
[0071] According to a first possibility, the plate 102 is fixed with respect to the frame 101. The plate 102 can then extend in an inclined manner or parallel to the ground on which the table rests (when the table is in its deployed state).
[0072] According to a second possibility, the plate 102 is mounted movably on the frame 101 (either directly or by means of another fixing system). The plate 102 can thus be movable in service relative to the frame.
[0073] 101 (and therefore to the ground on which the table rests).
[0074] According to a third possibility, the plate 102 is fixed relative to the frame 101. The plate 102 and / or the frame 101 and / or the plate carries a support that can be tilted relative to the top 100 (a support that can thus be movable in use relative to the floor on which the table rests) and / or carries a fixing system capable of itself carrying a support attached to said fixing system. Alternatively, the frame 101 and the plate 102 form only one indivisible element and not two separate elements. The plate 102 and / or the frame 101 optionally carries a support that can be tilted relative to the top 100 (a support that can thus be movable in use relative to the floor on which the table rests) and / or carries a fixing system capable of itself carrying a support attached to said fixing system.
[0075] Optionally, at least one plate 102 of the table has a notch 104. Said notch 104 is here provided at a first end of the plate 102. This makes it easier to rotate a handle 200 relative to the plate 102, a rotating handle 200 which will now be described.
[0076] According to a first possibility, the frame 101 is closed and the rotating handle 200 is attached to it. According to a second possibility, and as visible in figure 1bis, the frame 101 has at least one opening and the rotating handle 200 is integrated into the frame 101 so as to close said frame 101. The handle 200 is thus part of the frame 101 in this second possibility. In this case the opening is provided near the notch 104. The opening is thus provided at the first end of the plate 102.
[0077] In the illustrated case, the table thus comprises two handles 200 each arranged at opposite ends of the table, each handle 200 being associated respectively with one of the two trays 100 so as to be pivotally mounted on the associated tray 100. The two handles 200 being identical, the following description of one of the handles is also applicable to the other of the handles.
[0078] The handle 200 is pivotally mounted on the associated plate 100, either directly or by means of at least one additional part. For example, the handle 200 is here pivotally mounted on the plate 100 by means of at least one rod 203 (visible in FIG. 2) which passes through the frame 101 and the handle 200. The handle 200 is pivotally mounted on the associated plate 100 along an axis B. The axes B of rotation of the two handles 200 are parallel to each other. Furthermore, the axis B of rotation of the handles 200 is parallel to the axis A of rotation of the plates 100 between them.
[0079] It is noted that the rotation axes B of the two handles 200 are at the level of the plates 100 and not under the plates. Indeed, the handles 200 are arranged in the extension of the plates 100. The handles 200 are thus not arranged under the plates 100.
[0080] The opening of the frame 101 is delimited by at least two facing faces on which the handle 200 is pivotally mounted. Optionally, each of said faces and the handle 200 have at least one male member / female member pair cooperating together to guide the rotation of the handle 200 relative to the frame 101.
[0081] Optionally, the at least one male member is carried by at least one of the faces. Optionally, each of the faces comprises a plurality of male members. At least one of the male members is a tip 105.
[0082] Optionally, the end pieces 105 are directly fixed to the frame 101, however in another embodiment, the end pieces 105 can be an integral part of the frame 101 or else be fixed to a single or a plurality of parts themselves attached to the frame 101.
[0083] Optionally, the at least one female member is carried by the handle 200. Optionally, the handle comprises a plurality of female members. At least one of the female members is a cavity 205.
[0084] In our example, the shape of the cavities 205, the end pieces 105 and their locations are determined to limit the degree of rotation of the handle 200 relative to the frame 101 (in the present case the rotation taking place around the axis of the rod 203).
[0085] Each of the handles 200 connects the associated top 100 to a leg 300 of the table. For example, each handle 200 is fixed to one of the legs 300, for example, by at least one screw or any other known means. Optionally, the male and female members for the rotation of each of the handles are defined so as to limit the rotation of the handle 200 relative to the frame over an angular range of 90°. The handle 200 is thus movable relative to the frame 101 between a first position where its face for connection to the leg (i.e. the face via which the leg is secured) extends facing the support (ground, terrain, etc.) on which the table rests (so-called 90° position) and a second position where said face extends orthogonally to the previous position (so-called 0° position).
[0086] We will now describe one of these feet 300 (the two feet being identical to each other).
[0087] Optionally, the foot 300 is a telescopic foot. The telescopic foot 300 comprises a plurality of uprights (tubular such as profiles, mounted tubes, etc.) 301, 302, 303, 304 and 305.
[0088] In Figure 2, only the upper part of the telescopic foot 300 is illustrated, where the tubular uprights 301, 302 and 303 can be seen. The sectional view of the tubular uprights 304 and 305 are illustrated in Figure 3 and the complete view of the telescopic foot 300 is visible in Figure 1.
[0089] Optionally, the telescopic leg 300 includes a system for temporarily locking the tubular uprights relative to each other when the telescopic leg 300 is deployed.
[0090] This allows you to adjust the height of the table.
[0091] Optionally, the telescopic foot 300 comprises a first succession of uprights 301, 302, 303, 304 and 305 fitting into each other and a second succession of uprights 301, 302, 303, 304 and 305 fitting into each other and identical to the first succession. For example, each succession comprises between 2 and 6 tubular uprights and for example 5 tubular uprights.
[0092] Optionally, the telescopic foot also comprises at least one crossbar connecting two uprights opposite each other of said two successions. Preferably, each pair of uprights opposite each other of the two successions is connected by a crossbar 306, 307, 308, 309. In the case of the pair of uprights closest to the handle 200, the handle 200 itself forms the crossbar making it possible to connect the two uprights in question to each other.
[0093] Each of the crossbars is thus fixed at its first end to the first of the pair of two uprights and at its second end to the second of the pair of two uprights. For example, at least one of the bars is fixed at at least one of its ends by a fastening system (of the male member / female member type, such as at least one end piece / notch pair) or by any other known means (and for example simply by welding). The upright(s) may thus optionally have one or more openings for fixing one or more crossbars.
[0094] Preferably, at least one of the crossbars is shaped to limit the travel of the upright to which it is connected relative to the upstream upright and / or the downstream upright.
[0095] Optionally, the telescopic foot comprises at least one rod 310 associated with the first succession and at least one rod 310 associated with the second succession. Each rod 310 passes through the handle 200 associated with the telescopic foot 300 and here the upright 301 of the telescopic foot closest to the handle 200. Each rod 310 is here slidably mounted in the first upright 301. The handle 200 and / or the associated upright 301 comprises means for guiding the rod 310 in translation relative to the handle 200 and / or the upright 301.
[0096] Optionally, the handle 200 comprises at least one member for manipulating the telescopic foot 300. The manipulating member is for example a button 201 (visible in figure 6).
[0097] Optionally, the handling member is arranged on a face of the handle 200 which is turned towards the ground (on which the table rests) when the associated foot 300 is oriented at an angle of 90° relative to the tabletop 100 (i.e. when the handle 200 is in its second position). Alternatively, the handling member is located on another face of the handle 200.
[0098] The handling member is preferably arranged in the space delimited by the notch 104 and the handle 200 (when folded). This prevents it from protruding from the lateral sides of the table, limiting the external size of the latter.
[0099] According to a first option, when a user actuates the button 201 (for example by sliding and / or pivoting it relative to the handle 200), the button 201 acts directly on one of the rods 310 (and preferably on all the rods 310 of the telescopic foot 300 considered) which slide relative to the handle.
[0100] 200 and plate 100: this causes the lowering of the upright 301 and allows the retraction of the foot 300 to begin.
[0101] According to a second option, when a user actuates the button 201 (for example by sliding and / or pivoting it relative to the handle 200), the button
[0102] 201 acts on one or more intermediate pieces which in turn act on one of the rods 310 (and preferably on all the rods 310 of the telescopic foot 300 in question) which slide relative to the handle 200 and to the plate 100: this causes the lowering of the upright 301 and allows the retraction of the foot 300 to begin. For example, the intermediate piece may be a pivot element 204 (mounted pivoting relative to the handle 200 around a given axis). The pivot element 204 has, for example, two opposite arms, one connected to the button 201 and the other to one or more rods 310.
[0103] Optionally, at least one of the uprights 301 of the telescopic foot 300 comprises a housing 312 and preferably the two uprights 301 each comprise a housing. These housings are here part of the aforementioned locking system.
[0104] Optionally, each housing 312 has a first housing extending for example orthogonally to the direction in which the associated upright 301 extends. In this first housing is housed a cleat 313 associated with an elastically deformable element (such as a spring) 314.
[0105] Optionally, each housing 312 has a second housing extending for example parallel to the direction in which the associated upright 301 extends and / or extending orthogonally to the first housing. In this second housing is housed a button 315 associated with an elastically deformable element (such as a spring 311). The elastically deformable element is optionally arranged around the button 315 between the upper end of the button and the opening of the second housing. This elastically deformable element automatically allows the button to be repositioned in a position called the initial position, if no pressure is exerted on it. The button 315 is thus movable in translation in the second housing in the axial direction of the housing. The button 315 is here arranged so as to extend partly outside the housing 312 in its initial position and more particularly so as to extend above the housing 312.
[0106] For at least one succession of the telescopic foot 300 (and preferably for both successions), at least one other upright than the upright 301 also comprises a housing forming part of the aforementioned locking system. For example, all the uprights between the upright 301 and the upright closest to the ground (here the upright 305) comprise a housing forming part of the aforementioned locking system. The upright 302 thus comprises a housing 316, the upright 303 a housing 319 and the upright 304 a housing 320. The housing 316 will now be described. It should be noted here that this housing is different from the housing 312 of the upright 301.
[0107] Optionally, the housing 316 has a first housing extending for example orthogonally to the direction in which the associated upright 302 extends. In this first housing is housed a cleat 325 associated with an elastically deformable element (such as a spring) 330.
[0108] Optionally, the housing 316 has a second housing extending for example parallel to the direction in which the associated upright 302 extends and / or extending orthogonally to the first housing. In this second housing is housed a button 317. The button 317 is thus movable in translation in the second housing in the axial direction of the housing. The button 317 is here arranged so as to extend partly outside the housing 316 in its initial position and more particularly so as to extend above the housing 316.
[0109] Optionally, the button 317 has at least one end piece 338 extending out of the second housing through at least one notch 337 provided in the casing 316. The notch(s) 337 thus making it possible to guide the translation of the button 317 in the second housing.
[0110] Optionally, the housing 316 comprises at least one end piece 318. The end piece 318 is fixed to the housing 316. The end piece 318 is here arranged so as to extend partly outside the housing 316 and more particularly so as to extend below the housing.
[0111] We will now describe the housing 319. We note here that this housing is different from the housing 312 and the housing 316. Optionally, the housing 319 has a first housing extending for example orthogonally to the direction in which the associated upright 303 extends. In this first housing is housed a cleat 326 associated with an elastically deformable element (such as a spring) 333.
[0112] Optionally, the housing 319 comprises at least one end piece 321. The end piece 321 is fixed to the housing 319. The end piece 321 is here arranged so as to extend partly outside the housing 319 and more particularly so as to extend below the housing 319.
[0113] The 319 case, however, does not have any buttons or second housing.
[0114] We will now describe the housing 320. We note here that this housing is different from the housing 312 and from the housing 316 and from the housing 319.
[0115] Optionally, the housing 320 has a first housing extending for example orthogonally to the direction in which the associated upright 304 extends. In this first housing is housed a cleat 327 associated with an elastically deformable element (such as a spring) 334.
[0116] The 320 case, however, does not have any buttons, second housings or end pieces.
[0117] Optionally, the telescopic foot 300 comprises a plurality of holes 336 forming part here of the aforementioned locking system.
[0118] At least one of the uprights and for example all the uprights may comprise one or a plurality of holes provided on one or more faces of said upright. These holes are intended to temporarily receive the aforementioned cleats for locking two successive uprights in position together as will be described below.
[0119] Optionally, the 300 leg is extended by a 400 base. The 400 base allows the support surface of the table to be widened on the ground. Optionally, the base is shaped to allow the inclination of the work surface to be modified in relation to the ground on which the table rests.
[0120] The base 400 is optionally fixed to at least one of the lower uprights 305 of the foot 300.
[0121] Optionally, the base 400 is fixed to at least one of the uprights 305 by gluing or any other known technique (for example by screws).
[0122] Optionally, the base 400 comprises at least one base element 401. The base 400 is for example fixed to at least one of the uprights 305 by means of said base element 401.
[0123] Optionally, the base 400 comprises at least one leg extending the base element and for example at least two legs 403 extending the base element 401.
[0124] Optionally, the base 400 comprises at least one pad 402 fixed to the base element 401 and / or to at least one of the legs. For example, the base comprises two pads 402, each pad 402 being associated with a respective one of the legs 403. The table is thus intended to rest on the floor by means of its pads 402. At least one of the pads 402 is fixed to at least one of the legs 403 and / or to the base element 401 by gluing or any other known fixing means (screws for example).
[0125] Optionally, at least one of the legs 403 (and preferably both legs 403) are mounted to be movable relative to a separate end of the base element 401 between a folded position and a deployed position. For example, each leg 403 is mounted to pivot relative to the base element 401 along an axis of rotation 405 orthogonal to the direction in which at least one upright 305 fixed to the base 400 extends longitudinally.
[0126] In the deployed position, the tab 403 thus extends substantially orthogonally to the upright 305 and thus extends substantially parallel to the upright 305 in its folded position.
[0127] Optionally, at least one of the legs 403 is mounted on the base element 401 via a temporary locking system.
[0128] For this purpose, at least one of the legs 403 (or the base element 401) comprises a housing receiving at least one cleat 406 and a spring 407 and the base element 401 (respectively the leg 403) comprises at least one end piece 408 (arranged at the level of the articulation axis 405).
[0129] The cleat and the end piece 408 thus jointly form a ratchet wheel. Therefore, the shape of the cleat 406 and the end piece 408 is adapted, allowing the cleat to slide on the end piece when the degree of opening of the foot 403 relative to the base element 401 is increased. On the other hand, the cooperation of the cleat 406 and the end piece 408 blocks the rotation of the leg 403 in the other direction of rotation of the foot 403. To fold the leg
[0130] 403, it is thus necessary to voluntarily press the cleat against the action of the spring 407 to disengage it from the end piece 408. Optionally, the cleat 406 can then be actuated through at least one notch 409 provided in the tab 403 or by means of a button.
[0131] Alternatively, the shape of the cleat 406 and the end piece 408 is adapted so as to block the rotation of the leg 403 in both directions of rotation of the foot 403. To unfold and fold the leg 403, it is thus necessary to deliberately press the cleat against the action of the spring 407 to disengage it from the end piece 408 by means of the same actuator or two different actuators.
[0132] It is therefore noted that the relative position of each of the legs 403 with respect to the base element 401 makes it possible to modify the inclination of the work surface with respect to the ground on which the table rests.
[0133] We will now describe a table stabilization system. For example, said system comprises at least one telescopic link 500 and preferably at least two links 500. Since the two links 500 are identical, the following description of one of the links is also applicable to the other of the links.
[0134] The connecting rod 500 comprises a plurality of uprights 502 which can telescope together and a plurality of collars 503 which make it possible to temporarily block the telescoping movement of the tubular uprights 502.
[0135] Optionally, the connecting rod 500 is connected at a first end to one of the frames 101 and at another end to one of the telescopic legs 300, by two pivot connections 501A and 501B respectively.
[0136] Optionally, the pivot connection 501A is located at one of the hinges connecting the two plates 100 together. Optionally, the pivot connection 501B is located at one of the crossbars and also at the lowest crossbar 309.
[0137] In the folded state of the table, illustrated in Figure 6, the two tops 100 are folded against each other. The legs 300 and the fully telescoped connecting rods 500 are thus arranged in the space provided between the two tops 100. More precisely, the uprights of the legs 300 extend parallel to the tops 100 and the connecting rods are located between the base elements 401 and the tops 100. The base elements 401 are advantageously shaped to allow the legs 300 to be parallel to the tops 100 without the connecting rods 500 hindering their folding.
[0138] In order to maintain the table in its folded state, it preferably comprises a temporary closing system. For example, the temporary closing system comprises one or more magnets 202 making it possible to temporarily fix the two tops 100 together in the folded state of the table. The locking system is, for example, arranged at one or more handles 200. For example, the two handles 200 each carry at least one magnet cooperating with the magnet of the other handle 200 to temporarily lock the table in its folded state.
[0139] To move from the folded state to the deployed state, the user separates the two trays 100 to place them in line with each other. The feet are then in their rest position and the handle is here in its 0° position.
[0140] The user also causes the feet 300 (which are in their telescoped state) to pivot. The feet 300 are then at 90 degrees to the trays 100. The feet 300 are pivoted by acting on the handles 200. The feet are then in their service position and the handle is here in its 90° position.
[0141] If the user wishes to use the table in this way, he locks the connecting rods 500 (and thus the legs 300) via the collars and places the legs 403 in their deployed position. The table is then in its deployed state and in the low position as shown in Figure 7. In this position, the legs 300 are fully telescoped.
[0142] If he wants to increase the height of the table, he must extend the legs 300.
[0143] To this end, he lifts the top of the table, for example at the handles 200 or the tops 100. He can jointly hold the legs 403 in place on the floor by pressing on them with his own feet.
[0144] This causes the cleats 313 (linked to the uprights 301) to be embedded in holes in the uprights 302: it can thus deploy the uprights 301 in relation to the uprights 302. It can thus continue the deployment of the feet 300: the sliding of the feet 300 ends up causing the cleats 325 (linked to the uprights 302) to be embedded in holes in the uprights 303: it can thus deploy the uprights 302 in relation to the uprights 303.
[0145] It can thus continue the deployment of the feet 300: the sliding of the feet 300 ends up embedding the cleats 326 (linked to the uprights 303) in holes in the uprights 304: it can thus deploy the uprights 303 with respect to the uprights 304.
[0146] It can thus continue the deployment of the feet 300: the sliding of the feet ends up embedding the cleats 327 (linked to the uprights 304).
[0147] The table height can thus be adjusted in stages. The 500 rods (and thus the 300 legs) can be conveniently locked in position via the collars, regardless of the stage in question. The cleats advantageously prevent the risk of the table lowering accidentally.
[0148] When the 300 legs are fully extended, the table is in its upper position.
[0149] It is noted that the different crossbars make it possible to limit the travel of the different uprights, each housing thus coming into abutment against the mounted part of the successive crossbar when the upright or uprights to which it is attached are deployed. To move the table from its unfolded state to its folded state, the user must first loosen the collars 503 and lower the table into its low position (by telescoping the feet 300).
[0150] To this end, the user presses the button 201 upwards, which causes the rods 310 to slide. These then actuate the buttons 315 (for example, the lower ends of the rods 310 comprise a plate capable of cooperating with the buttons 315 to trigger them). For example, the rods 310 press on the buttons 315, which then slide downwards towards the cleats 313. This causes the cleats 313 to retract inside the uprights 302 (against the action of the springs 314): the uprights 301 then slide inside the uprights 302.
[0151] The retraction of the uprights 301 into the uprights 302 implies that the lower ends of the uprights 301 (here the housings 312) in turn press on the buttons 317. The lower end of the buttons 317 causes a retraction of the catches 336 inside the uprights 303 (against the action of the springs 330): the uprights 302 slide inside the uprights 303.
[0152] The retraction of the uprights 302 into the uprights 303 implies that the lower ends of the uprights 302 (here the housings 316 and in particular the end pieces 318) cause a retraction of the cleats 326 inside the uprights 304 (against the action of the springs
[0153] 333): the uprights 303 slide inside the uprights 304.
[0154] The retraction of the uprights 303 into the uprights 304 implies that the lower ends of the uprights 303 (here the housings 319 and in particular the end pieces 321) cause a retraction of the cleats 327 inside the uprights 305 (against the action of the springs
[0155] 334): the uprights 304 slide inside the uprights 305.
[0156] The table is then in its deployed state and in the low position as shown in Figure 7. The legs are then in their service position and the handle is here in its 90° position.
[0157] It is also noted here that the retraction and / or deployment of the legs is done in a vertical movement (when the table is arranged on a horizontal flat surface).
[0158] It is also noted that the end pieces 318 and 321 and the buttons 317 and 315 are shaped so as to facilitate the retraction of the cleats. In particular, the end pieces 318 and 321 and the buttons 315 and 317 are beveled at their lower ends.
[0159] It is also noted that the beveling of the cleats 313, 325, 326 and 327 facilitates the deployment of the feet. When deploying the feet, the beveled shape of the cleats 313, 325, 326 and 327 allows them to slide more easily along the holes in the uprights. In particular, the cleats 313, 325, 326 and 327 are beveled with a bevel that widens towards the lower ends of the housings.
[0160] The user then folds the legs 403 and brings the feet under the trays 100 using the handles 200. The feet are then in their rest position and the handle is here in its 0° position.
[0161] The two plates are then brought together along the axis of the hinges 103A and 103B so that the magnets 202 of each handle 200 come into contact.
[0162] The table thus described is easy to unfold and fold.
[0163] When folded, the table does not take up much space and can therefore be stored in a simple backpack.
[0164] The table can be conveniently moved on its own and unfolded and folded on its own.
[0165] Furthermore, thanks to the different holes in the uprights (allowing the locking of one or more of the housing cleats), the table can be locked in an intermediate position between its low position and its high position, which offers multiple positioning possibilities to the user. In an intermediate position, simply lift the upper part to continue unfolding the table and operate the handles 200 to return to a lower position.
[0166] Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the invention as defined by the claims.
[0167] In particular, although here the folding and unfolding of the table are carried out via trays, rotating handles and telescopic legs, other means may be used to implement these functions. Thus, although here at least one of the telescopic legs comprises two successions of uprights, at least one of the telescopic legs may comprise only a single succession of uprights or a larger number of successions of uprights.
[0168] Although here the telescopic foot comprises five uprights, the telescopic foot may comprise more than five uprights or less than five uprights.
[0169] The number of boxes associated with each telescopic leg may differ from what has been indicated.
[0170] At least one of the boxes may be mounted on at least one of the uprights by gluing, screws, circlips or any other known means.
[0171] At least one of the housings may be different from what has been indicated and for example include a greater number of catches and / or housings and / or buttons and / or elastically deformable elements... than what has been described.
[0172] At least one of the holes and / or at least one of the housings may be arranged differently from what has been described.
[0173] Although here the base has two legs, the base could have a different number of legs or zero legs.
[0174] Although here at least one of the bases has two pads, at least one of the bases may have a different number of pads or zero pads.
[0175] In general, the base may have a shape other than that described. With reference to Figure 4bis, the base element 410 may be extended on either side by two legs 411 movable relative to the base element 410 between a folded position and a deployed position. Contrary to what has been indicated previously, at least one of the legs 411 is thus movable between its two positions by a translational movement along the base element 410 and / or a rotational movement along an axis of rotation 412 parallel to the direction in which at least one upright fixed to the base extends longitudinally.
[0176] Although the tops here are identical, at least two of the table tops may be different from each other.
[0177] Although here at least one of the legs is in one part, at least one of the legs may be in two or more parts. The table may have a different number of legs than those indicated and for example one leg for each succession of uprights.
[0178] Although here it is sufficient to lift the top of the table to deploy the legs, the table may be equipped with one or more mechanisms requiring their activation to deploy the legs. For example, the user may need to activate button 201 to deploy the legs or any other button.
[0179] At least one of the cleats may not be beveled, for example cleat 313.
[0180] The number and / or shape of the boxes may be different from what has been indicated. In particular, the different boxes of the table may be identical to each other (and not different as indicated). The different boxes associated with the same succession of uprights (with the exception of the upper box and the lower box) may be identical to each other and not different as indicated. Each box may be equipped with a button (optionally beveled) and / or a tip (optionally beveled).
[0181] Although here the table moves in a single step from its high position to its low position, the table may pass through at least one intermediate position in which it will remain in position during its retraction. For example, the user will have to operate a mechanism to continue the retraction of the table (for example the handle or another mechanism).
[0182] Preferably, the table will be provided with at least one integrated mechanism for adjusting the inclination of the work surface and optionally the inclination of the work surface with respect to the horizontal. The integrated mechanism could for example be integrated into the base as described or be a relatively tilting support or could be the system for attaching the plate and / or the frame to the rest of the table and allowing their tilting, etc.
[0183] The table's work surface may have only one top. The table may therefore not have a folding work surface. However, the table will still be foldable because the legs are foldable (in addition to being telescopic).
[0184] The temporary closure system may be different from what has been indicated and, for example, include at least one hook / loop type fastener (such as that sold under the registered trademark Velcro), at least one cord, at least one drawstring, etc.
