Abstract
A device 1 for producing tube packaging blanks 10 by extrusion is described, the device comprising a die 2, a punch 3, and an ejector 4. The punch 3 includes a tool-holding section 3.1, a shaft section 3.2, and a punch head 3.3. The shaft section 3.2 is formed in one piece with the punch head 3.3 from a material having a Rockwell hardness of at least 60 HRC, wherein the shaft section 3.2, at least in its section intended for engagement with the die 2, has the shape of a straight circular cylinder with a diameter d of a maximum of 10 mm. The die 2 has a die interior 2.4 bounded by a die base 2.1 and a die wall 2.2, wherein the die interior 2.4 forms the negative of the punch head 3.3 including the section of the shaft section 3.2 adjacent to the punch head 3.3, intended for engagement with the die 2.The die base 2.1 has a perforation 7 arranged concentrically to its circumference. The ejector 4 engages positively in the perforation 7 of the die base 2.1 and closes the perforation 7 flush with the die base 2.1.
