The invention relates to a material, suitable for additive manufacturing and in particular for fused deposition modeling, wherein said composite material is obtained by fusion of at least two components: - at least one polymer matrix chosen among polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA), and - at least one auxiliary filler chosen among biobased fillers consisting of biobased particles comprising lignin, cellulose and hemicellulose, wherein said biobased particles have a lignin / hemicellulose mass ratio from 1 to 6. The invention also relates to an additive manufacturing process and a product obtained by an additive manufacturing process.

A support surface for a patient support apparatus includes an inflatable bladder assembly including an inflatable bladder having a first layer defining a first aperture, a support located adjacent to the inflatable bladder, and having a second layer defining a second aperture axially aligned and overlapping with the first aperture. A first patch is connected to the first layer, extends across and covers the first aperture, and has an exterior face facing the support. A second patch is connected to the second layer, extends across and covers the second aperture, and has an exterior face facing the first inflatable bladder. The exterior face of the first patch is connected to the exterior face of the second patch at a patch connection, thereby connecting the inflatable bladder to the support. A method for forming an inflatable bladder assembly is also disclosed.

A method of manufacturing an article at least partially made of cellulose fibers comprises inserting a cellulose pulp comprising cellulose fibers and water into a mixing cavity; applying a high shear mixing action to the cellulose pulp using a high-shear mixer, such that a foam blend comprising cellulose fibers, water and air bubbles is created; inserting the foam blend into a mold cavity; and molding the article by heating the foam blend contained within the mold cavity.
