A welding tool includes a first handle and a second handle. The welding tool also includes a torch nozzle holder configured to hold a nozzle of a welding torch therein, and to block the nozzle from extending therethrough. The welding tool includes a blade assembly positioned a predetermined distance from the torch nozzle holder. Welding electrodes with a welding face for contact with a metal surface for electrical resistance welding are provided with concentric contoured rings formed into the face. A retaining head for a MIG welding device includes a contact tip mounting end, an opposite retaining head mounting end, and a throughbore extending from one of the ends to the other end. A deflector is disposed along the throughbore and is adjustable for imparting a bend in welding wire passing through the throughbore. The deflector provides a straight wire contour for the welding wire that is fed out of the welding torch, while maintaining sufficient contact force between the welding wire and the contact tip. The deflector also reduces the effect of wire twist on the contact point between the welding wire and the contact tip.

The invention discloses a rocking arc narrow gap consumable electrode gas shielded welding method and a welding torch. The method comprises the following steps: a connecting cable is fixed on an electric brush mechanism and a coupling head; a hollow shaft motor is connected with a straight conducting rod through a shaft joint; a welding wire passes through a center hole of a cable coupling head, and penetrates out a center hole of a current contact nozzle; the lower end of the straight conducting rod is fixed with a connecting piece; and one end of a minor bend conducting rod is connected with the straight conducting rod through the connecting piece, while the other end of the minor bend conducting rod is connected with the current contact nozzle. The hollow shaft motor directly drives the straight conducting rod and the minor bend conducting rod capable of extending into a divided edge of a workpiece to make reciprocating rotation around the central axial line of the welding torch, thereby driving electric arc of the end of the welding wire send from the center hole of the current contact nozzle to make arc rocking in the divided edge of the workpiece so as to realize rocking arc narrow gap welding. The welding torch has the advantages of simple and compact structure, low implementation cost, high reliability of operation, strong practicality, and can adapt requirement of welding process for mean position and spatial position with different welding seams. The welding wire has strong rocking regulation, good directivity of the electric arc, and high welding quality.

A modular welding wire feed drive for use in a welding system. The welding wire feed drive is designed to be detachably connected to the welding wire feed system of the welding system. The welding wire feed drive includes a drive housing designed to be detachably connectable to the welding wire feed system, a wire contact arrangement designed to controllably feed welding wire through the welding wire feed drive, and a drive motor that is connected to or interconnected to the wire contact arrangement to at least partially drive the wire contact arrangement.

A coated welding tip and nozzle assembly is disclosed. The tip and the nozzle are coated with a coating composition comprising titanium dioxide. The coating provides resistance to adhesion and accumulation of weld spatter on the nozzle and tip and facilitates weld spatter removal. The coating also protects against thermal damage of the nozzle by providing a thermal barrier.

A securement member for securing a contact tip to a welding torch assembly is provided. A channel extends axially therethrough and has an internal shoulder that extends into this channel. This internal shoulder abuts against a shoulder on the contact tip, capturing the contact tip between the shoulder and a seating surface on the diffuser and securing the contact tip in the torch assembly. The contact tip is securely seated without threading engagement, facilitating quick release and installation. The invention relates to a method for repairing a crack and a chipping a shunt ring of a case, which comprises the following steps of: (1) trimming and polishing the chipping part of the shunt ring to form a square or oblong notch by using an air drill and a grinding wheel; (2) performing dyeing inspection on the periphery of the polished notch, and determining as qualified if no crack exists; (3) taking a patch material from the corresponding portion of a discarded case by using a linear cutting method, trimming the patch material by using the grinding wheel according to the shape of the notch so that the trimmed patch is matched with the notch; (4) placing the trimmed patch in the notch, supporting the patch with a support frame, firstly performing positioning welding on the patch by using low current argon arc welding, and then performing sectional symmetry welding; (5) performing dyeing inspection on the welding portion, and determining as qualified if no crack or eyehole exists; and (6) eliminating welding stress by ultrasonic waves. The repairing method provided by the invention has the advantages of low equipment investment, low repairing expense and short repairing period.

Welding gun with double conductor composed by a torch body (1) and electronic scales (2) to measure the intensity of the sensors (6) located in each conductor (3) and with mechanisms to trigger an alarm when there is an imbalance of the intensities circulating through both conductors. To this end, a microcontroller (5) connected to intensity (6) and temperature (8) sensors in the conductors is used, with indicators of failure or anomaly. A contact tip for a welding torch is provided. In one embodiment, the contact tip includes a body formed of an electrically conductive material and a non-linear passage that extends through the body.
