Description

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a pen holder for storing a pen or marker, in particular a felt-tip pen or paint marker, and to a system comprising the pen holder and the felt-tip pen or paint marker, as well as to a use of the pen holder. State of the art

[0002] In trades and on construction sites, various pencils, such as a carpenter's pencil, are used daily for drawing and marking work and for taking notes. It is particularly important that the pencil is easy to reach and can be used with one hand, ensuring access even when the user's other hand is occupied with a tool.

[0003] In addition, the pin should be stored in such a way that loss or misplacement of the pin can be avoided, since pins lying around are easily lost, especially on construction sites.

[0004] To solve these problems, pen holders, such as those known from DE 695 06 392 T2, have become established on the market. Such pen holders can be attached and secured to the user's trouser or ruler pocket or belt with a clip, allowing the user direct, preferably one-handed, access to the pen.

[0005] The disadvantage of such pen cases is that the pen case, especially for felt-tip pens or paint markers, which must be protected from the writing tip drying out and for which it is crucial that the writing tip is stored in an essentially airtight encapsulation to prevent the writing tip and thus the pen from drying out, is specifically tailored to a specific pen model. Therefore, if the pen is lost, damaged, or dries out, the user must purchase the identical model again to continue using the pen case. Otherwise, the user runs the risk of the new pen drying out quickly.

[0006] To prevent this, when changing the pen model, a new pen holder that is tailored to the new pen model must also be purchased.

[0007] Another disadvantage is that the user requires different holsters for different activities, such as surveying on the construction site, which requires a writing pen, and marking work on the site, which requires a marking pen, such as a deep hole marker. This increases the logistical burden for the user, as the user either has to carry multiple holsters or has to consider what activities they will be performing and therefore which holster is needed for each specific task before heading to the construction site. Brief description of the revelation

[0008] The object of the present disclosure is therefore to eliminate or at least reduce the disadvantages of the prior art. Specifically, the object of the present disclosure is to provide a transport and access solution for a pen that enables secure transport for various pen types, in particular for various felt-tip pens and paint markers, while preventing these pens from drying out.

[0009] This object is achieved by a pen holder according to claim 1, a system comprising the pen holder and at least one felt-tip pen and / or at least one paint marker according to the independent claim, and by a use of a pen holder according to the independent claim. Advantageous further developments are claimed in the dependent claims and / or disclosed and described below.

[0010] Specifically, the problem is solved by a pen holder for storing a pen or marker, in particular a felt-tip pen and / or paint marker and / or deep-hole marker, with a preferably sleeve-shaped, one-part or multi-part base body which extends in a longitudinal direction and delimits a receiving space for at least partially receiving the pen, wherein the base body has an insertion opening at a first end of the longitudinal direction or longitudinal extension for inserting the pen into the receiving space. The pen holder contains at least one sealing section formed or insertable in the receiving space. The sealing section is or are provided and designed to receive at least a first pin with a first, larger diameter and a second pin with a second, smaller diameter, i.e. pins of different diameters, and to contact them in a (radially) sealing manner.Alternatively or additionally, the sealing section can be adapted to the diameter of the pin, preferably by means of a changing device, in order to accommodate the pin or different pins by means of different sealing sections and to contact them in a (radial) sealing manner.

[0011] Of course, the different pens should be picked up from the pen holder one after the other or alternately and should not be positioned in it at the same time.

[0012] In other words, the object is achieved by the pen holder which is provided and designed to reversibly accommodate (precisely) one pen. The pen holder has a base body which extends in the longitudinal direction, preferably at least in section in a cylindrical shape. Alternatively or additionally, the base body can be conical and / or frustoconical in section. The pen holder preferably has a (much) greater extension in the longitudinal direction than in a width direction oriented normal to the longitudinal direction. The base body can preferably have a sleeve shape or be sleeve-shaped. This means that the base body can have a type of tubular geometry closed on one side with a relatively thin wall. The base body or the wall of the base body delimits the receiving space of the pen holder. The base body can be made in one piece or in multiple pieces, i.e. from one part or from several parts.

[0013] The receiving space is accessible through the insertion opening and is connected to the environment surrounding the pin holder. The insertion opening is formed at one of the ends (at the first of the two ends) of the pin holder in the longitudinal direction. In particular, the insertion opening can be formed on an end face / end side of the base body or essentially form the end face / end side of the pin holder. The insertion opening is the opening through which the pin can be inserted / introduced / inserted into the receiving space, at least in sections. The insertion opening is preferably the only opening that connects the receiving space to the environment surrounding the pin holder.

[0014] The at least one sealing section is arranged in the receiving space. The at least one sealing section is provided and designed to make radially circumferential sealing contact with the pin, which is inserted into the receiving space through the insertion opening. The sealing section or sections can make sealing contact with at least two, for example, two or more than two, different pin geometries.

[0015] In other words, the sealing section can contact both the first pin with the first large diameter in a radially circumferential sealing manner and the second pin with the second smaller diameter in a radially circumferential sealing manner.

[0016] Embodiments are also conceivable in which more than two pins or pin types or pin diameters can be radially sealed by the sealing section. For example, the sealing section can radially seal around the circumference of three, four, five, or more pin types with different pin diameters.

[0017] The sealing section can be formed as a single, continuous sealing section. Alternatively, the sealing section can be formed in segments. Further alternatively, the sealing section can be formed in multiple parts spaced apart in the longitudinal direction. In other words, the sealing section can alternatively be formed from a plurality of individual sealing sections spaced apart from one another. In this case, it can also be said that a plurality of sealing sections, for example, formed as a plurality of sealing rings, are provided.

[0018] When designed as a continuous sealing section, the sealing section can have an (elastic) tube or funnel geometry that tapers longitudinally, preferably linearly, from the insertion opening. In other words, the sealing section can have or be a conically tapered sealing geometry.

[0019] In an alternative embodiment, the sealing section can have a plurality of sealing segments arranged sequentially one behind the other in the longitudinal direction, wherein each sealing segment is provided and configured to seal a defined diameter or a defined diameter range, i.e., to form a radially circumferential sealing contact. The sequentially arranged sealing segments can be arranged one behind the other without spacing along the longitudinal extension of the pin holder. Two, three, four, or more sealing segments can be formed and / or arranged sequentially along the longitudinal extension of the pin holder.

[0020] Alternatively, the sequentially arranged sealing segments can be arranged at a distance from one another in the longitudinal direction of the pin holder. Preferably, the defined diameters / diameter ranges, i.e., the diameters or diameter ranges in which the respective sealing segments seal the pin, of the sequential sealing segments taper / decrease starting from the insertion opening.

[0021] Alternatively, the problem is solved by the pin holder with the sealing section, wherein the sealing section is adaptable / adjustable to the diameter of the pin, preferably by means of a replaceable! switchable changing device / adapter device, in order to radially seal the pin or the different pins with the different diameters by means of different sealing sections.

[0022] In other words, the changing device is designed to introduce, or enable the introduction of, different sealing sections, i.e., sealing sections with different, defined diameters, into the receiving space of the pin holder. The different sealing sections can be an integral part of the changing device, for example, in the form of a drum, a magazine, or a grid. Alternatively, the different sealing sections can be designed separately from the changing device and introduced into the receiving space via the changing device.

[0023] The pen holder can be designed with a locking device to reversibly secure the different sealing sections in the pen holder. For example, the pen holder can have at least one grub screw, a bayonet lock, a clamp lock, or any other suitable fixing means.

[0024] When the pen holder is used as intended, the pen is inserted into the pen holder without the pen cap (supplied), which protects the pen from drying out when not in use, in order to allow quick access to the pen.

[0025] Embodiments are also conceivable in which the pin cap can be inserted into the receiving space via the changing device, and the sealing section is part of the pin cap. The pin cap can optionally be secured in the pin holder or in the receiving space of the pin holder using the locking device.

[0026] By designing the pen holder with appropriate sealing sections, the pen holder can either tightly accommodate different pens, i.e., pens with different diameters, or be adapted to the different pens in order to tightly accommodate them. By designing the pen holder in this way, the pen holder can tightly accommodate a number of different pen types and diameters, allowing for more flexible use.

[0027] In one aspect, the at least one sealing section can be formed on a sealing element (formed separately from the base body), wherein the sealing element can be introduced, preferably reversibly, into the receiving space.

[0028] For example, the sealing element formed separately from the base body may be the pin cap, which is provided and designed to close the pin.

[0029] In other words, the at least one sealing section is formed on the sealing element, which is formed separately from the base body, i.e., materially separated. The sealing element with the sealing section is inserted or insertable into the receiving space.

[0030] Preferably, a plurality of sealing elements, i.e., more than one sealing element, can be provided or configured. The plurality of sealing elements, for example, configured as sealing rings, can be arranged sequentially in the longitudinal direction in the receiving space. Alternatively, the sealing element can be inserted into or replaced in the receiving space depending on the pin! Pin type / pin diameter.

[0031] By forming at least one sealing section separately on the sealing element, the base body and the sealing section can be made of different materials. For example, the base body can be made of a harder, more resilient plastic, which improves the protection of the pin and increases the service life of the pin holder, while the sealing element with the sealing section can be made of a softer plastic, which improves the sealing of the pin in the pin holder and enables tolerance compensation in the sealing of the pin.

[0032] Furthermore, the separate design of the sealing element and pin holder reduces the complexity of the pin holder's geometry, thus lowering manufacturing costs. Furthermore, the sealing element containing the sealing section can be replaced if the sealing section becomes worn or damaged, or if different pin diameters are to be used in the pin holder, so that the pin's seal can be maintained over the entire life cycle of the pin holder or the life cycle of the pin holder can be significantly extended.

[0033] Alternatively, however, it is also preferred if the sealing section is a component of the base body, in particular if it is formed integrally with the base body or at least a part of the base body. In this case, for example, in a two-component injection molding process, the base body or part of the base body can be formed from a harder, more resistant plastic, and the sealing section can be formed from a softer, more flexible plastic.

[0034] The sealing section or sealing element can have a monotonically tapered geometry extending in the longitudinal direction when installed. In other words, the cross-sectional area of the sealing section or sealing element can remain constant or decrease in the longitudinal direction.

[0035] The sealing element can be provided and designed to radially seal more than two pins or pin types or pin diameters. For example, the sealing element can radially seal three, four, five, or more pin types with different pin diameters.

[0036] In a further aspect, the sealing section may have or be at least one elastic sealing edge, which may be elastically deformable when the pin is inserted into the receiving space.

[0037] In other words, the sealing section can have at least one elastic sealing edge, preferably in the form of a sealing lip projecting radially inward and / or radially outward. The sealing edge can be elastically deformable, so that the sealing edge adapts to / contacts / snuggles against an outer contour / circumferential contour of the pin or adapts to / contacts / snuggles against an inner contour of the pin holder. In the inserted state, i.e., in the state in which the pin is at least partially inserted into the receiving space of the pin holder, the sealing edge can contact the outer contour of the pin radially circumferentially.

[0038] Such an elastic sealing edge can improve the fit of the sealing section to the pin, so that scratches or other damage to the pin's surface, which are unavoidable during construction site use, as well as engravings and indentations in the pin's surface, can be compensated for by the sealing section and tightness can be ensured. Furthermore, an elastic sealing edge can also be used to seal pins with a non-circular cross-section, such as a hexagonal or oval cross-section. In addition, the elastic sealing edge can be used to seal a (larger) diameter range, as the elastic sealing edge can adapt to the diameter of the pin within a defined range.Furthermore, by means of an elastic clamping force of the elastic sealing edge on the pin, the pin can be reversibly fixed in the pin holder and falling out of the pin from the holder can be prevented or at least the probability of falling out can be reduced.

[0039] Alternatively or additionally, at least one rubber-like sealing edge or another seal made of rubber can be formed in the sealing section or form the sealing section.

[0040] Further alternatively or additionally, at least one O-ring can be formed in the sealing section or form the sealing section. In particular, several O-rings with different diameters can be formed in the sealing section or form the sealing section.

[0041] In a further aspect, at least one pin cap stop can be formed in the receiving space between the sealing portion and the insertion opening.

[0042] In other words, the receiving space can have the pin cap stop, preferably in the form of an edge or step projecting radially inward from the wall of the base body.

[0043] Alternatively, the pin cap stop may be formed from a plurality of lugs or projections distributed over the inner circumference of the wall and projecting radially inward from the wall of the base body.

[0044] Such a pen cap stop allows the pen, particularly in the form of a paint marker, to be inserted into the pen holder with the pen cap attached, for example, to perform an activation shake of the paint marker together with the pen holder. The pen cap stop prevents the pen cap from damaging and / or displacing and / or compressing the sealing section, which is arranged longitudinally behind the pen cap stop starting from the insertion opening, during the activation shake.

[0045] In a further aspect, the sealing section can divide the receiving space in the longitudinal extent into a sealing space, which is provided and designed to receive at least one writing tip of the pen or a pen section which contains the writing tip in an airtight manner, and a guide space facing the insertion opening.

[0046] In other words, when the pin is inserted, the sealing section can divide the receiving space into an airtight sealing space and a guide space connected to the environment. The guide space can extend from the insertion opening to the sealing section in the longitudinal direction of the receiving space. The sealing space can extend from the sealing section to a (closed) end of the base body in the receiving space.

[0047] In particular, by creating an airtight sealing chamber, the service life of the pen in the pen holder can be significantly extended. Specifically, drying out of the pen due to ambient air when not in use can be prevented. By dividing the receiving space into the sealing chamber and the guide chamber by the sealing section, the size / volume of the sealing chamber can be selected by predefined positioning of the sealing section in the receiving space in such a way that the service life of the pen is maximized, operating comfort is sufficiently high, and a wide range of different pens can be accommodated in the pen holder.

[0048] In a further aspect, the sealing chamber may include a receptacle for a marking tip of a deep hole marker.

[0049] In other words, the sealing chamber may have an elongated, substantially needle-shaped recess which is provided and designed to receive the marking tip of the deep hole marker.

[0050] In a further aspect, the guide space / receiving space may have at least one centering element which is provided and designed to center the pin (radially) in the receiving space.

[0051] In other words, the guide space can contain at least one centering element, which extends (also) radially inward, starting from the wall of the base body or an edge of the insertion opening. The centering element can be designed such that it contacts the pin during the insertion process, preferably uniformly and / or regularly, over the circumference of the pin, so that the pin is inserted centered into the sealing section and held centered in the sealing section.

[0052] Such a centering element can improve the sealing of the sealing section, as incorrect insertion of the pin into the pin holder is at least made more difficult or can be avoided. This also improves handling for the user, who can insert the pin into the pin holder with one hand without having to look, and can be confident that the pin is held and sealed in the pin holder as intended. Furthermore, the centering element can reduce the transverse force exerted by the pin on the sealing section, which increases the service life of the sealing section.

[0053] In a further aspect, the centering element may have a number of elastic spring elements, which may be arranged evenly distributed over an inner circumference of the guide space.

[0054] In other words, the centering element can be or include a number of elastic spring elements. The elastic spring elements can (also) extend radially inward from the wall of the base body.

[0055] The spring force of the spring elements can act radially inward. Preferably, at least three spring elements are evenly distributed around the circumference of the base body. The spring elements are preferably designed as leaf springs, in particular as leaf springs mounted on one side.

[0056] Alternatively, designs as disc springs, diaphragm springs, ring springs or the like are possible with suitable fixation on the wall of the base body.

[0057] Alternatively, the centering element could be designed with a number of centering wings or ribs, or with a centering disc with a centering hole formed at the insertion opening. The centering hole is located on an (imaginary) central fiber of the pin holder, which extends in the longitudinal direction of the pin holder.

[0058] In a further aspect, a pin cap receptacle, preferably in the form of a shoulder, can be formed on a second end or a second end face facing away from the first end or the first end face in the longitudinal extension.

[0059] In other words, the pin cap receptacle can be formed at the closed end of the preferably sleeve-shaped base body. The pin cap receptacle can be designed, in particular, as a shoulder, i.e., as a stepped outer diameter reduction of the pin holder.

[0060] This type of pen cap holder allows the pen cap to be securely stored while the pen holder is in use, preventing it from getting lost.

[0061] In a further aspect, the base body and the sealing section can be formed from, preferably different, plastics.

[0062] In other words, the base body can be formed from a first, preferably relatively hard, plastic and the sealing section can be formed from a second, preferably softer, plastic.

[0063] In a further aspect, the base body can be made of polypropylene (PP).

[0064] In a further aspect, the sealing section and / or the sealing element with the sealing section can be formed from an elastomer, for example rubber, or from a thermoplastic elastomer.

[0065] Alternatively, the sealing insert can be made of polyethylene (PE).

[0066] In a further aspect, the base body can be formed in several parts, in particular in two parts.

[0067] In a further aspect, the pin holder can have an adapter device for inserting / introducing / engaging different sealing sections on a section facing away from the insertion opening.

[0068] In a further aspect, the adapter device can have an adapter body that is drum-shaped / revolver-shaped / magazine-shaped and is rotatably mounted on a rotation axis oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the pen holder. Writing tip receptacles are formed, preferably radially inwardly, and in particular preferably in the form of blind holes or through holes, from an outer circumference of the adapter device. The writing tip receptacles can each have at least one sealing section with different diameters or for pens with different diameters.

[0069] In a further aspect, the adapter device can comprise a plurality of adapter bodies, wherein the adapter bodies (alternating depending on the pen) can be inserted into the receiving space through an adapter body insertion opening transversely to the longitudinal extent of the pen holder. Preferably, each of the adapter bodies can comprise two or four different writing tip receptacles.

[0070] In a further aspect, the adapter bodies can be reversibly received / fixed / positioned via a pin-shaped receptacle in the pin holder.

[0071] The object of the present disclosure is further achieved by a system comprising a pen holder according to one of the above aspects and a first pen, preferably a felt-tip pen or paint marker, having a first larger diameter and a second pen, preferably a felt-tip pen or paint marker, having a second smaller diameter. The sealing section contacts the first pen in a state inserted into the pen holder (radially circumferentially) in a sealing manner, and the sealing section contacts the second pen in a state inserted into the pen holder (radially circumferentially) in a sealing manner. It is to be understood that only one pen, i.e. the first pen or the second pen, is inserted into the pen holder at a time.

[0072] Of course, the pen can also be a deep hole marker or something similar.

[0073] In other words, the task is solved by the system consisting of the pen holder and the felt-tip pen and / or paint marker and / or deep hole marker, wherein an inner diameter of the sealing section is matched to more than one outer diameter of more than one felt-tip pen or paint marker or the inner diameter of the sealing section is adaptable to the outer diameter of different felt-tip pens or paint markers.

[0074] Of course, the system can contain more than two different pins. The system can contain three, four, five, or more different pins with different pin diameters.

[0075] In one aspect, the sealing portion may comprise a first sealing segment provided and configured to contact the first pin in a radially circumferential sealing manner and a second sealing segment provided and configured to contact the second pin in a radially circumferential sealing manner, wherein the second sealing segment is spaced further from the insertion opening in the longitudinal direction than the first sealing segment.

[0076] In other words, the sealing section can have several, at least two, different sealing segments with different inner diameters. In the installed state, the different sealing segments can be formed or arranged sequentially one behind the other in the longitudinal direction in the pin holder.

[0077] Of course, more than two sealing segments can be formed in the sealing section. For example, three, four, or five different sealing segments can be formed in the sealing section.

[0078] In another aspect, a first inner diameter of the first sealing segment may be smaller than the first diameter of the first pin and larger than the second diameter of the second pin.

[0079] In another aspect, a second inner diameter of the second sealing segment may be smaller than the second diameter of the second pin.

[0080] By matching the diameters of the various sealing segments to the diameters of the various pins in this way, it can be ensured that each of the pins in the sealing section can be sealed circumferentially. In addition, it prevents, or at least avoids, a pin with a large diameter from damaging a sealing segment with a smaller diameter by overstretching or spreading.

[0081] In a further aspect, the base body may have at least one grip element, preferably in the form of ears, which extends at or near the first end, at least in sections, substantially radially outwardly away from the base body wall.

[0082] In other words, the base body can have at least one gripping element. The gripping element is provided and designed to be gripped by the user. Specifically, the gripping element is provided and designed to be gripped by at least one finger of the user (per gripping element).

[0083] The at least one grip element can be formed at the first end, i.e., adjacent to / in the vicinity of the insertion opening. The at least one grip element has a preferably substantially flat or plate-shaped extension radially outwardly away from the base body wall. In other words, the at least one grip element can preferably extend perpendicular to a central fiber of the base body of the pen holder.

[0084] By providing at least one gripping element, the user can easily pull the pen out of the pen holder. Specifically, the user can grasp the pen, for example, with an index and middle finger, and press against the gripping element with a thumb of the same hand to overcome the locking force with which the pen is locked into the pen holder or the sealing section.

[0085] In other words, the grip element can provide a force application point for the user's finger. This allows the user to pull the pen out of the pen holder with one hand, even if the pen is firmly locked in the holder.

[0086] Furthermore, by forming at least one grip element on the pen holder, the user can easily insert the pen into the pen holder and lock it into place. Specifically, the user can insert the pen through the insertion opening into the receiving space and, as soon as the locking resistance, which is generated, for example, by the sealing section, is reached, grasp the grip element behind it, for example with their index finger and / or middle finger and / or ring finger, and press it, for example with the ball of their hand or their thumb, against the pen, in particular against a rear side of the pen facing away from the writing tip, in order to lock the pen into the pen holder.

[0087] In one aspect, the grip element may extend substantially in a plate-like manner normal to the longitudinal direction and, in a plan view oriented in the longitudinal direction, may have a sickle shape with at least a first radius on a radially outwardly arranged peripheral edge.

[0088] Furthermore, the object of the present disclosure is achieved by using a pin holder according to one of the above aspects for alternately receiving and sealingly contacting at least a first pin with a first larger diameter and a second pin with a second smaller diameter.

[0089] The pen holder can have a, preferably sleeve-shaped, single-part or multi-part base body which delimits a receiving space for at least partially receiving a pen, and a sealing section which is formed in the receiving space or is inserted into the receiving space in order to seal a first pen section, which contains at least one writing tip, of a first pen with a first larger diameter and a first pen section, which contains at least one writing tip, of a second pen with a second smaller diameter alternately radially circumferentially against an environment surrounding the pen holder.

[0090] Of course, the sealing section can seal more than one first pen section and one second pen section with the respective writing tip. Thus, the sealing section can also be designed to radially seal a third pen section of a third pen with an even larger diameter and / or a fourth pen section of a fourth pen with an even smaller diameter against the environment surrounding the pen holder. Description of the embodiments

[0092] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described based on the accompanying figures.

[0093] Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 show a pen holder 2 according to the disclosure for storing a pen 76, 78, in particular a felt-tip pen or a paint marker, i.e. a pen 76, 78 whose writing tip 80, 82 can dry out upon contact with air.

[0094] The pin holder 2 includes a base body 4, which extends in a longitudinal direction L. The base body 4 includes a first, substantially tubular section 6 and a second, conically tapered section 8. The first section 6 is formed in one piece. The first section 6 of the base body 4 has a substantially circular insertion opening 10 on a first end face. The insertion opening 10 is provided and designed to insert the pin 76, 78 into a receiving space 12 (see Fig. 3 ) at least partially.

[0095] On an outer surface 14 of the first section 6 of the base body 4, a fastening clip / holding clip 16 is provided and designed to fix the pen holder 2 to a belt, a (trouser or ruler) pocket or to another suitable object of a user of the pen holder 2.

[0096] Adjacent to the insertion opening 10, two ears 18 extend radially opposite one another from the outer surface 14 away from the base body 4. The ears 18 are provided and designed to be gripped by the user in order to facilitate insertion or removal of the pin 76, 78 from the pin holder 2.

[0097] The second section 8 of the base body 4 has tubular segment-shaped recesses 20, which are provided and designed to reduce rotation of the pen holder 2, for example, within the user's pocket. Furthermore, the recesses 20 function as gripping recesses that can be grasped during two-handed operation.

[0098] On a second end face of the second section 8 of the base body 4, a pen cap receptacle 22 is formed in the form of a shoulder. A pen cap 90 of the pen 76, 78 can be placed and snapped onto the pen cap receptacle 22, so that the pen cap 90 is safely stowed and tidy when the pen holder 2 is in use (see Fig. 22 ).

[0099] Fig. 3 shows a sectional view of the pen holder 2 in a Fig. 2illustrated sectional plane AA. The first section 6 of the base body 4 has a substantially constant wall thickness W. The retaining clip 16 is formed integrally with the first section 6 of the base body 4. First barbs 24 are formed on the retaining clip 16 on a side facing the first section 6. Second barbs 26 are formed on the base body 4, alternating opposite the first barbs 24 in the longitudinal direction L. The first barbs 24 and the second barbs 26 securely fix the pen holder 2 via the fastening clip 16 and prevent the pen holder 2 from slipping or falling out, for example, from a user's pocket.

[0100] The first section 6 is formed towards the receiving space 12 with elastic spring elements 28 evenly distributed over the (inner) circumference 84. In the embodiment shown here, three elastic spring elements 28 are arranged distributed over the circumference 84 of the first section 6. Embodiments are also conceivable in which more than three elastic spring elements 28 or fewer than three elastic spring elements 28 are arranged distributed over the circumference 84. The elastic spring elements 28 form a centering element of the pin holder 2 and ensure that the pin 76, 78 is guided and / or held along a central fiber M of the pin holder 2.

[0101] The first section 6 and the second section 8 are connected / coupled to one another in a connecting region 30. The connecting region 30 can be designed as a force-fitting and / or form-fitting connection between the first section 6 and the second section 8, wherein the second section 8 is partially inserted into the first section 6. In other words, the first section 6 and the second section 8 can be glued, pressed, shrunk, welded, or similarly bonded to one another. For this purpose, the second section 8 is formed with a reduced outer diameter in the connecting region 30, so that an outer contour of the pin holder 2 is essentially stepless in the connecting region 30. Of course, the first section 6 can also be partially inserted into the second section 8, or the first section 6 and the second section 8 can be connected to one another at contacting end faces.

[0102] Furthermore, embodiments are conceivable in which the connecting region 30 is designed as a reversibly connected connecting region 30, so that it can be connected and disconnected by the user. For this purpose, the connecting region 30 can preferably be designed with a bayonet lock.

[0103] In the embodiment illustrated here, the second section 8 forms a pen cap stop 32 at an end of the second section 8 facing the insertion opening 10. The pen cap stop 32 is a circumferential, stepped taper / step of the receiving space 12. The pen cap stop 32 is provided and designed to function as a stop when the pen 76, 78, in particular a paint marker, with the pen cap 90 attached, is inserted into the pen holder 2 in order to reliably carry out an activation shake of the paint marker in the pen holder 2.

[0104] In an alternative embodiment, the pin cap stop 32 may be formed in the first portion 6 or in an extension of the second portion 8.

[0105] In the second section 8, in particular in a receiving area 34 of the second section 8, a sealing element 36 is arranged. In the embodiment shown here, the sealing element 36 is designed as an insert which is inserted into the second section 8. The sealing element is determined by means of the Figs. 6 to 8 explained in more detail later.

[0106] The sealing element 36 can be clamped, glued, pressed, screwed or fixed in the second section 8 in some other way (for example by means of a frictional force).

[0107] The sealing element 36 can contact the second section 8 in a planar, linear, and / or point-like manner. Preferably, the sealing element 36 contacts the second section 8 at different points / locations.

[0108] Fig. 4 shows the first section 6 in a disassembled state. Fig. 5 shows the second section 8 in a disassembled state. To assemble the pen holder 2, the sealing element 36 is pushed into the second section 8, starting from the end of the second section 8 at which the connecting region 30 is formed, until the sealing element 36 is arranged in the receiving region 34. Subsequently, the first section 6 is pushed onto the second section 8 in the longitudinal direction L, so that the first section 6 and the second section 8 overlap in the connecting region 30. Optionally, an adhesive can be applied in the connecting region 30.

[0109] Alternatively, as described above, the connecting portion 30 can be designed as a reversibly detachable connecting portion 30. In this way, according to the described assembly, the sealing element 36 can be replaced by the user at will.

[0110] Fig. 6, Fig. 7 and Fig. 8 show the sealing element 36 in different views. The sealing element 36 shown here is intended and designed to sealingly accommodate pins 76, 78 with two different diameters D1, D2.

[0111] The sealing element 36 is formed in one piece from an elastic plastic. The sealing element 36 is essentially constructed from a sequence of cylindrical tube segments and conical tube segments arranged in a first direction X. In the assembled state of the pin holder 2, the first direction X corresponds to the longitudinal direction L.

[0112] The sealing element 36 includes a first cylindrical tube segment 38. The first cylindrical tube segment 38 is provided and designed to contact the second section 8 of the pin holder 2 in a planar manner and to seal between the second section 8 and the sealing element 36 and to fix the sealing element 36 in the second section 8 by frictional adhesion.

[0113] In the first direction X, a first conical tube segment 42 adjoins the first cylindrical tube segment 38 via a first shoulder 40. The first conical tube segment 42 widens conically in the first direction X. A second cylindrical tube segment 44 adjoins the first conical tube segment 42 in the first direction X. The first conical tube segment 42 and the second cylindrical tube segment 44 form a second sealing segment 94 for a second pin 78 with a second, smaller diameter D2.

[0114] In other words, the first conical tube segment 42 and the second cylindrical tube segment 44 are provided and designed to contact the second pin 78 with the second, smaller diameter D2 in a radially circumferentially sealing manner.

[0115] In the first direction X, the second conical tube segment 46 adjoins the second cylindrical tube segment 44. Furthermore, in the first direction X, the third cylindrical tube segment 48 adjoins the second conical tube segment 46. The second conical tube segment 46 and the third cylindrical tube segment 48 form a first sealing segment 92 for a first pin with a first larger diameter D1.

[0116] In other words, the second conical tube segment 46 and the third cylindrical tube segment 48 are provided and designed to contact the first pin 76 with the first, larger diameter D1 in a radially circumferentially sealing manner.

[0117] On the second cylindrical pipe segment 44 and on the third cylindrical pipe segment 48, circumferential sealing edges 50 are formed on an outer circumference, which seal and / or fix the sealing element 36 against the second section 8.

[0118] In the third cylindrical tube segment 48, recesses are formed which are evenly distributed over an inner circumference and which increase a radial elasticity of the third cylindrical tube segment 48.

[0119] The sealing element 36 divides the receiving space 12 in the longitudinal direction L into a sealing space 54 and the guide space 56 (see Fig.3). The sealing chamber 54 is a space in which the writing tip 80, 82 of the pen 76, 78 is arranged when the pen 76, 78 is inserted into the pen holder 2. The sealing element 36 seals, on the one hand, on the inside circumference against the pin 76, 78 and, on the other hand, on the outside circumference against the second section 8, so that the sealing chamber 54 is hermetically sealed against the environment of the pen 76, 78 and the writing tip 80, 82 of the pen 76, 78 does not dry out when inserted into the pen holder 2. Due to the friction between the pin 76, 78 and the sealing element 36, the pin 76, 78 is additionally fixed in the pen holder 2.

[0120] In the following, alternative embodiments, in particular with changing devices for different sealing elements 36, are described with reference to the Figs. 9-17 described.

[0121] For the sake of clarity, the general structure of the pen holder 2 will not be described again. All statements and descriptions made above for the first embodiment are applicable to the following alternative embodiments, as far as technically reasonable.

[0122] Fig. 9shows a first alternative embodiment of the pin holder 2 for the pins 76, 78. The pin holder 2 is formed on the second section 8 with a changing device 52. In the first alternative embodiment, the changing device 52 is a disc-shaped drum 57. The drum 57 is rotatable / rotatable in the pin holder 2 about a transverse axis Q, which is oriented normal to the central fiber M of the pin holder 2. By rotating the drum 57, the sealing section engaging with the pins 76, 78 can be replaced. In other words, by rotating the drum 57, the sealing section can be adapted to the pins 76, 78.

[0123] As in Fig. 9 and in the section view Fig. 10As shown, blind holes 60 are formed on an outer circumference 58 of the drum 57. The blind holes 60 form sealing sections in the form of sealing elements 36 or sealing spaces 54 for different pins or pin diameters, or contain corresponding sealing elements 36. The blind holes 60 are arranged evenly distributed over the outer circumference 58 of the drum 57. The sealing elements 36 of the first alternative embodiment each include one of the conical tube segments 42, 46 and one of the cylindrical tube segments 44, 48, which form the sealing section.

[0124] Alternatively, the sealing element 36 in the first alternative embodiment can be exchangeable according to the Figs. 6 to 8 be trained.

[0125] By rotating the drum 57, the sealing element 36 located in the receiving space 12 can be changed, so that the pin holder 2 can be adapted to different pins 76, 78 or pin diameters D1, D2. In the first alternative embodiment shown here, four different sealing elements 36 are formed in blind holes 60 of the drum 57. Of course, more than four or fewer than four different sealing elements 36 can also be formed in the blind holes 60 of the drum 57.

[0126] Fig. 11 shows the pen holder 2 in a second alternative embodiment. In the second alternative embodiment, different sealing sections, for example in the form of different sealing elements 36 on adapter elements 62 which can be inserted into the second section 8 and which are arranged in Fig. 12are shown. The respective sealing element 36 is formed starting from an end face of the adapter element 62.

[0127] Alternatively, the sealing sections, preferably in the form of cylindrical and conical pipe segments 42, 44, 46, 48, can be formed directly in the adapter elements 62, i.e. without a separately formed sealing element 36 in the adapter element 62.

[0128] In order to insert the respective adapter element 62, formed with the sealing element 36 or tube segments 42, 44, 46, 48 suitable for the pin 76, 78, into the pin holder 2, an adapter element receptacle 64 is formed in the second section 8 of the pin holder 2. The adapter elements 62 can be inserted into the adapter element receptacle 64 in a direction normal to the central fiber M of the pin holder 2.

[0129] The adapter elements 62 are formed with ribs 66 which can be inserted into rib receptacles 68 of the adapter element receptacle 64 so that the adapter element 62 is positioned in a defined manner in the adapter element receptacle 64.

[0130] According to the second alternative embodiment, the changing device 52 is realized by the adapter element receptacle 64 in combination with at least two adapter elements 62 with sealing sections adapted to different diameters, so that also according to this embodiment the sealing section can be adapted or adjusted to the diameter of the pin 76, 78 by a changing device 52 in order to receive the corresponding pin 76, 78 and to make sealing contact therewith.

[0131] Fig. 13shows the pen holder 2 in a third alternative embodiment. The third alternative embodiment essentially corresponds to the second alternative embodiment. Therefore, only the differences between the third alternative embodiment and the second alternative embodiment will be discussed below.

[0132] In the third alternative embodiment, each of the adapter elements 62 is formed with two different sealing elements 36. The two different sealing elements 36 are each formed in the end faces of the adapter element 62, so that the adapter element 62 can be inserted into the adapter element receptacle 64 offset / rotated by 180°. Thus, the third embodiment is designed without ribs 66 and without the rib receptacle 68. To fix the adapter element 62 in the adapter element receptacle 64, a connecting pin 70 is formed in the adapter element receptacle 64. As an alternative to the formation of sealing elements 36, the sealing sections can also be formed directly in the adapter elements 62 in the third alternative embodiment, preferably in the form of cylindrical and conical tube segments 42, 44, 46, 48, i.e., without a separately formed sealing element 36 in the adapter element 62.

[0133] In Fig. 14The adapter element 62 of the third alternative embodiment is shown in a sectional view. Each of the sealing elements 36 has two sealing grooves 72, each of the circumferential sealing grooves 72 being designed to seal a pin diameter D1, D2. Thus, each of the adapter elements 62 of the third alternative embodiment can seal four different pin diameters D1, D2. The sealing grooves form the sealing section or the sealing segments 92, 94 of the third alternative embodiment.

[0134] Of course, the embodiment shown here with sealing grooves 72, into which O-rings (not shown) can be inserted, can also be applied to any of the other embodiments.

[0135] According to the third alternative embodiment, the changing device 52 is implemented by the adapter element receptacle 64 in combination with at least one adapter element 62, which has at least two sealing sections adapted to different diameters. Thus, according to this embodiment, the sealing section can also be adapted or adjusted to the diameter of the pin 76, 78 by a changing device 52 in order to accommodate the corresponding pin 76, 78 and make sealing contact. According to the third alternative embodiment, two sealing sections are also provided on an adapter element 62, each of which can accommodate and sealably contact two pins 76, 78 with different diameters.

[0136] Fig. 15 shows the pen holder 2 in a fourth alternative embodiment and Fig. 16 shows the adapter element 62 of the fourth alternative embodiment. Figs. 15 and 16The fourth alternative embodiment shown essentially corresponds to the third alternative embodiment, so that only differences between the fourth alternative embodiment and the third alternative embodiment will be discussed below.

[0137] In the fourth alternative embodiment, the sealing element 36 is formed as a through-hole in the adapter element 62. The exact design of the sealing element 36 is not shown here. Each of the described embodiments of the sealing element 36 is applicable to the fourth alternative embodiment, with the blind hole being replaced by the through-hole if necessary.

[0138] Fig. 17shows two side views of an embodiment of the pin holder 2, rotated by 90 degrees relative to each other, as well as two perspective views of a centering ring 74, which forms an alternative embodiment of the centering element. The centering ring 74 can be attached to the insertion opening 10, can be inserted, or can be formed integrally with the base body 4 at the insertion opening 10, so that when the pin 76, 78 is inserted into the pin holder 2, the pin 76, 78 is guided on the center fiber M and inserted into the sealing element 36 in a predetermined manner.

[0139] Fig. 18 shows the first pin 76 with the first larger diameter D1 in a side view in a state in which the pin cap 90 is closed. Fig. 19 shows the first pin 76 in an open state.

[0140] The first pen 76 is a deep hole marker with the first, needle-shaped writing tip 80. The pen holder 2 is provided and designed to receive the first needle-shaped writing tip 80 in the sealing space 54 in an airtight manner.

[0141] Fig. 20 shows the second pin 78 with the second smaller diameter D2 in a side view in a state in which the pin cap 90 is closed. Fig. 21 show the second pin 78 in an open state.

[0142] The second pen 78 is a felt-tip marker with the second writing tip 82. The pen holder 2 is provided and designed to receive the second writing tip 82 in the sealing chamber 54 in an airtight manner.

[0143] Fig. 22shows, by way of example, the second pin 78 accommodated in the pen holder 2. The second pin 78 is held by the spring elements 28 on the central fiber of the pen holder 2. The second pin 78 is received in a radially sealed manner in the second sealing segment 94 of the sealing element 36. In other words, the second writing tip 82 is received in the sealing space 54. The pen cap 90 is received in a force-fitting or form-fitting manner on the pen cap receptacle 22, which is formed at the second end 88 of the pen holder. List of reference symbols
