Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a lamp support unit and a lamp equipped therewith.
[0002] From the state of the art, luminaires of all kinds are generally known. Fig. 6 An elongated profile light 100 is shown as an example. This has a light body 110 designed as an elongated profile element. In the upper area of the Fig. 6 It can be seen that the luminaire body 110 is profiled in such a way that it can accommodate a light source 104. The light source 104 can, as shown here, be inserted, for example, laterally or in a longitudinal direction of the luminaire body 110 into the profile - that is, here, for example, a profiled section of the luminaire body 110. The light source 104 is shown here as an example as an LED module with a circuit board 141 with LEDs 142. In Fig. 6 The light emission direction Y of the illuminant 104 is directed upwards. A lens element 105 is arranged downstream of the illuminant 104 in the light emission direction Y. For the defined relative positioning of the illuminant 104 and the lens element 105 for a correspondingly defined light emission, the lens element 105 is also held in a defined manner via a profiled section of the luminaire body 110; and in the present example, like the illuminant 104, is inserted lengthwise into the luminaire body 110. Since the profiling for accommodating the illuminant 104 and the lens element 105 is integrated into the luminaire body 110, the luminaire 100 is limited to corresponding components that can be inserted in a defined, supporting manner into these profiled receptacles. In addition, it may be necessary to provide different profiled luminaire bodies 110 if different illuminants 104 and lens elements 105 are used for a different desired light emission characteristic.
[0003] It is therefore an object of the present invention to enable a more flexible interchangeability of light emitting elements (in particular illuminants and lens elements) for luminaires.
[0004] This object is achieved by the subject matter of the independent claims. The dependent claims develop the central idea of the present invention in a particularly advantageous manner.
[0005] According to a first aspect, the present invention relates to a lamp support unit.
[0006] This comprises, on the one hand, a carrier. The carrier, in turn, has a fastening section with a fastening side. On the fastening side, at least two spacer projections are provided, spaced apart from one another along a longitudinal axis. The light carrier unit further comprises a light source. The light source is arranged between the spacer projections on the fastening side of the carrier in order to emit light away from the fastening side in a light emission direction. The light carrier unit further comprises a (preferably elongated) lens element which extends along the longitudinal axis at least over both spacer projections in order to rest on the spacer projections, such that the lens element is positioned at a defined distance from the light source in the light emission direction.
[0007] The luminaire support unit according to the invention makes it possible to provide a unit consisting of a light source and a lens element that can be used for luminaires and is preferably replaceable. Due to the spacer projections, these are automatically positioned in a defined manner relative to one another, so that the luminaire support unit is already fully functional. Thus, using the luminaire support unit, for example, a luminaire can be easily equipped or retrofitted with the defined function and combination of light source and lens element. It is also possible to easily equip a luminaire with any desired light characteristic according to the designed light source and lens elements, as well as to define their relative position to one another. In this way, complex additional profiled sections or those integrated into the luminaire body of the luminaire can be dispensed with.
[0008] The carrier can further preferably have a lamp fastening section for fastening the lamp to the fastening section. Thus, the lamp can be fixed relative to the carrier in a simple and defined manner. Since the lens element is in turn mounted on the spacer projections formed by the carrier, a relative position between the lamp and the lens element can be provided in a simple and defined manner.
[0009] The lamp mounting section can, for example, have through-holes for accommodating a fastening element, such as a screw. Such through-holes can be easily provided. Furthermore, the lamp can be easily attached using known fastening elements.
[0010] At least one of the spacer projections can preferably have a holding section as the lamp fastening section. Thus, the function for fastening the lamp and for the defined positioning or support of the lens element can be integrated into a single component section of the carrier, which simplifies both production and assembly.
[0011] The holding section can preferably have an undercut section for at least positively receiving a preferably edge-side section of the illuminant. Thus, the illuminant can preferably be attached in a simple manner and more preferably without additional aids.
[0012] Preferably, both spacer projections each have (at least) one of the holding sections, which are more preferably directed toward one another to accommodate the illuminant therebetween. Thus, both spacer projections can be configured with the correspondingly advantageous function of the holding section. If they also serve to accommodate a illuminant therebetween, the illuminant can be attached particularly easily and securely via these spacer projections and thus also positioned in a defined manner in a particularly simple manner.
[0013] The spacer projections can preferably be formed integrally with the carrier. This allows the spacer projections to be produced in a particularly simple manner.
[0014] The spacer projections can preferably be formed as a formed section, preferably as an embossed portion, in the carrier. Thus, the spacer projections can be integrated into the carrier in a particularly simple manner using conventional means.
[0015] The support can preferably be an elongated support extending along the longitudinal axis. Thus, the light support unit can also be used, in particular, for corresponding elongated lights.
[0016] The carrier can preferably have a side wall on each side of the longitudinal axis, which, together with the fastening section on the fastening side, delimits a receiving space accommodating the illuminant and the spacer projections, and preferably also the lens element. Thus, the corresponding components, in particular the illuminant, can be received securely—even against contact by a user. This protects the corresponding components, and increases the user's safety with respect to these components. In a preferred embodiment, the two side walls can laterally delimit the illuminant and thus serve as a positioning or alignment aid.
[0017] The carrier can preferably have an end wall on each side of the fastening section with respect to the longitudinal axis, which end walls extend to the same side as the side walls with respect to the fastening section and, together with the side walls and the fastening side, delimit the receiving space. This allows a laterally circumferential edge to be formed, so that the components accommodated therein, such as in particular the light source, are securely accommodated. Furthermore, the carrier can thus be provided with particularly high dimensional stability.
[0018] The support can preferably have a mounting section for attaching the light support unit to a lamp body of a luminaire. This allows the support to be mounted intuitively and particularly easily. This significantly simplifies the assembly and, if necessary, the replacement of a corresponding light support unit. Since the support itself has the mounting section, further components can be saved, simplifying both production and assembly.
[0019] The mounting section can preferably be provided at an end of the side walls that is distal from the fastening section. Thus, the light support unit can be configured such that the light-generating and light-guiding elements are preferably arranged at least partially recessed relative to a light that accommodates them, and can thus be accommodated securely and compactly.
[0020] The mounting section can preferably extend parallel to the fastening section or its fastening side and / or laterally away from the receiving space. Thus, a defined and preferably flat support surface can be provided as the mounting section, enabling stable and secure fastening of the light support unit.
[0021] It is preferably conceivable that, viewed in the direction of the longitudinal axis, the mounting section and the lens element are aligned with one another on an outer side of the light support unit. This creates an aesthetically pleasing appearance, while enabling light emission with a large or broad light distribution. Alternatively, it is also conceivable that the lens element is arranged offset from the mounting section toward the fastening section. This allows the lens element to be provided or accommodated in the support with better protection.
[0022] The support can preferably be made of a sheet metal, such as sheet steel. This allows the support to be manufactured particularly easily and cost-effectively, as well as being stable and safe to provide.
[0023] The carrier can preferably be manufactured as a stamped and bent part. Thus, the carrier can be produced in a particularly simple and cost-effective manner using known manufacturing processes. For example, different types and shapes of carriers can be produced for correspondingly different applications (e.g., for different combinations of illuminant and lens element). The spacer projections can also be provided in a particularly simple manner. This is particularly true when the spacer projections are formed as a formed section, such as an embossed portion, in the carrier.
[0024] The lens element can preferably comprise or be an elongated lens element; particularly preferably, an elongated lens profile element with a constant cross-sectional profile along the longitudinal axis. Thus, the lens element can be provided compactly and effectively. Furthermore, when designed as a lens profile element, the light guidance and distribution can be defined as desired, thus accommodating numerous possible light emission characteristics.
[0025] The light support unit can preferably further comprise a fixing element with which the lens element resting on the spacer projections can be held or fixed. Thus, the lens element can be easily and securely held or fixed in the position resting on the spacer projections.
[0026] The fixing element can preferably be held by the carrier. This makes installation particularly easy, as the fixing element is already provided in a designated position. The lens element can then be easily brought into a fixed configuration with the fixing element, for example, by simply placing the lens element onto the spacer projections.
[0027] The fixing element can preferably extend through the carrier in sections. This allows the fixing element to be securely held on the carrier, while also providing a simple and stable fixation or mounting for the lens element. For example, the fixing element can partially protrude into the receiving space, where it can then be connected to the lens element, for example, to form a positive fit.
[0028] The fixing element can preferably engage around the carrier at least on an underside of the fastening section facing away from the fastening side. The fixing element can therefore be designed, for example, as a fixing spring or U-shaped retaining clamp. Since the fixing element engages around the fastening section, it can also be easily provided and positioned in a defined manner. Furthermore, the fixing element can thus be easily supported on the fastening section in order to hold the lens element particularly securely and, in particular in conjunction with engaging behind or encompassing the lens element, to press or pre-tension it towards the spacer projections. This makes it possible to provide a particularly secure and simpler holding or fixing of the lens element.
[0029] The light support unit can preferably further comprise a device carrier, which can be attached to the support or is formed integrally with the support. The support can thus be expanded with a function that allows additional components to be provided on the light support unit as desired. Thus, corresponding components can be carried directly with the light support unit, which further simplifies assembly. For example, a fully functional light support unit can be provided, which significantly simplifies connection and integration into a luminaire.
[0030] The device carrier can preferably be provided on one side of the support or on the underside facing away from the mounting side. This way, the device carrier is positioned outside the optical area or the light emission direction and thus does not interfere with the light emission. Furthermore, the device carrier can preferably be positioned on a side where it is inserted into a luminaire, allowing the device carrier to be safely stored and protected within a luminaire body.
[0031] The gear tray can preferably be detachably attached to the support. This makes it possible to provide a gear tray on the support as needed. Furthermore, such a gear tray can be installed or replaced in any way, depending on the selected luminaire components. Retrofitting with a gear tray or a different gear tray is also conceivable at any time.
[0032] The device carrier can preferably be provided on the mounting section, preferably on an inside of the light support unit facing away from the outside, and preferably also be fastened there. Thus, the device carrier can be provided in an area that is largely unaffected by the light-generating or light-guiding elements, so that the attachment of the device carrier has no influence on the light emission characteristics.
[0033] The luminaire support unit can further comprise components, in particular electrical and / or electronic components such as a cable connection terminal and / or an LED driver, for operating the luminaire. The luminaire support unit can thus preferably be provided in a largely pre-configured or fully functional manner. The components can particularly preferably be attached to the device support, which in turn simplifies the provision of these components on the support. For example, the support, on the one hand, can be preconfigured with the appropriate luminaire and lens element, and the device support, on the other hand, can be preconfigured with the appropriate components. These two components—i.e., the support and the device support—can then be combined as required.
[0034] The light source can preferably comprise an LED module with an LED circuit board and LEDs. This allows for a particularly compact, long-lasting, and efficient light source to be provided.
[0035] The LED board can rest, preferably flat, on the mounting side. This allows the support to serve as a defined and stable support for the light source. Furthermore, it is conceivable that the support could also be used as a type of heat sink to dissipate operating heat, which in turn increases the efficiency of a luminaire equipped with this light support unit.
[0036] According to a further aspect, the present invention further relates to a luminaire comprising a luminaire body and a luminaire support unit according to the present invention, as already described above. The luminaire support unit is attachable or attached to the luminaire body, preferably detachably.
[0037] This makes it easy to equip a luminaire with the luminaire support unit. The luminaire then has the advantages of a corresponding luminaire support unit already described above. This makes it particularly easy to equip and / or retrofit a corresponding luminaire with the corresponding lighting function. This also simplifies maintenance. It is also conceivable that a luminaire type can be changed using the luminaire support unit. For example, it is conceivable to replace a fluorescent lamp with an LED lamp in the context of a refurbishment. To do this, the fluorescent lamp, which is preferably provided on a corresponding support, is then removed from the luminaire body and replaced with the luminaire support unit.
[0038] The luminaire body can preferably define a luminaire interior in which the luminaire support unit is at least partially and preferably completely accommodated. Thus, the luminaire support unit can be provided both securely protected and aesthetically pleasing.
[0039] The luminaire can further comprise a main light source with a main light emission direction. Thus, the luminaire can combine different light emission directions, light emission characteristics, or light emission functions. In principle, it is also conceivable for the illuminant of the luminaire support unit to ultimately form the main light source of a luminaire equipped with it. It is also conceivable for the illuminant of the luminaire support unit, if an additional main light source is provided, to serve as secondary lighting. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the main light source can also be provided as part of the luminaire support unit; for example, on the support itself or on the device support.
[0040] When the light support unit is attached to the luminaire body, the main light emission direction can preferably be opposite to the light emission direction. Thus, the main light source can be used to emit light, e.g., forward or downward, while the light support unit can provide secondary lighting, such as background lighting.
[0041] The main light source can preferably be at least partially and preferably completely housed in the interior of the luminaire. This allows all light-emitting elements, in particular the main light source, to be housed safely and securely. In principle, it is conceivable that the luminaire could be equipped with a defined IP protection class in this way, for example.
[0042] Further advantages and embodiments of the present invention are described below with reference to the figures of the accompanying drawings. They show: Fig. 1 is a partial perspective view of a lamp support unit according to a first embodiment of the present invention, Fig. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the lamp support unit according to Fig. 1 , Fig. 3 a frontal sectional view of the lamp support unit according to the invention according to Fig. 1 , Fig. 4 a frontal sectional view of a luminaire according to the invention with the luminaire support unit according to the invention according to Fig. 1 , Fig. 5 a frontal sectional view of the lamp according to the invention according to Fig. 4 as a suspended luminaire, and Fig. 6 a frontal sectional view of a luminaire according to the prior art.
[0043] The Fig. 1-5 show a preferred embodiment of a lamp support unit 1 and a lamp 10 equipped therewith. In the following, the lamp support unit 1 is first described in particular with reference to the Fig. 1-3 described.
[0044] The light support unit 1 has, on the one hand, a support 2, as shown in particular in the exploded view of the Fig. 2 , but also in the Fig. 1 and 3 can be clearly seen. The support 2 can, as shown, preferably be made of a sheet metal, such as sheet steel. The support 2 can, as also shown, preferably be made as a stamped and bent part.
[0045] As in particular the Fig. 2 and 3 As can be seen, the carrier 2 has a fastening section 20 with a fastening side 21 (here at the top). On the fastening side 21, at least two (or more) spacer projections 3 are provided, spaced apart from one another along a longitudinal axis X, as can also be seen, for example, from the Fig. 2 and 3 can be seen, in which only one of these distance projections 3 is shown for the sake of clarity.
[0046] The carrier 2 may preferably be an elongate carrier extending along the longitudinal axis X, as can be seen from the Fig. 1 und 2 is evident.
[0047] The spacer projections 3 can preferably be formed integrally with the carrier 2, as can be seen in particular from the synopsis of the Fig. 2 and 3 can be seen. The spacer projections 3 can preferably be formed as a formed section, preferably as an embossed portion, in the carrier 2; this is particularly true when the carrier 2 is made of a sheet metal, such as sheet steel.
[0048] The light carrier unit 1 further comprises a particularly Fig. 2 and 3 recognizable light source 4. The light source 4 can preferably be an LED module with an LED board 41 and LEDs 42.
[0049] The illuminant 4 is arranged between the spacer projections 3 (if there are several spacer projections 3, at least between two of the spacer projections 3) on the fastening side 21 of the carrier 2 in order to emit light away from the fastening side 21 in a light emission direction L (cf. Fig. 2 and 3 ).
[0050] If the light source 4 is designed as an LED module, the LED board 41 can rest on the fastening side 21, as shown here; this is preferably flat.
[0051] The carrier 2 can preferably further comprise a lamp fastening section 22, 23 for fastening the lamp 4 to the fastening section 20. The lamp fastening section can, for example, comprise through-openings 22 for receiving a fastening element F, such as a screw, as can be seen in particular from the cross-sectional view of the Fig. 3 is evident.
[0052] At least one of the spacer projections 3 may preferably have a holding portion 30 as the lamp fastening portion 23. This is shown in Fig. 2 indicated. The holding section 30 can preferably have an undercut section 31 for at least positively receiving a preferably edge-side section 40 of the illuminant 4. Preferably, each of the at least two or both spacer projections 3 can each have one of the holding sections 30, so that the function of the illuminant fastening section 23 can be fulfilled by each of the spacer projections 3, which thus improves the fastening options as well as the stability of the fastening. The holding sections 30 can preferably also be directed towards one another in order to receive the illuminant 4 therebetween, as shown in Fig. 2 is indicated.
[0053] The light carrier unit 1 further comprises a lens element 5, as can be seen in particular from the Fig. 1-3 can be seen. The lens element 5 can preferably be or have an elongated lens element or, in this case, an elongated lens profile element, which can further preferably be provided with a cross-sectional profile that is constant along the longitudinal axis X, as shown.
[0054] The lens element 5 extends along the longitudinal axis X to at least over both spacer projections 3 (in Fig. 1 und 2 this is shown for the distance projection 3 shown on the left) to rest on the distance projections 3 (see Fig. 3 ), so that the lens element 5 is placed at a defined distance D from the illuminant 4 in the light emission direction L.
[0055] The carrier 2 can preferably have a side wall 24 on each side of the longitudinal axis X, which, together with the fastening section 20 on the fastening side 21, delimit a receiving space 6 which receives the illuminant 4 and the spacer projections 3 and preferably also, as shown, the lens element 5 (cf. in particular Fig. 2 and 3 ).
[0056] The carrier 2 can furthermore have an end wall 25 on both sides of the fastening section 20 with respect to the longitudinal axis X, which end wall 25 extends to the same side as the side walls 24 with respect to the fastening section 20 and, together with the side walls 24 and the fastening side 21, delimits the receiving space 6, as shown in Fig. 2 at least for one of the end walls 25.
[0057] The support 2 can further comprise a mounting section 26 for fastening the lamp support unit 1 to a lamp body 11 of a lamp 10. The mounting section 26 is particularly shown in the Fig. 1-3 visible and in the Fig. 4 and 5 in a manner attached to a lamp body 11.
[0058] The mounting section 26 can preferably be provided at an end 240 of the side walls 24 which is distal with respect to the fastening section 20, such as in particular the Fig. 2 and 3 This is preferably such that the mounting section 26 extends parallel to the fastening section 20 or its fastening side 21 and / or laterally away from the receiving space 6.
[0059] Furthermore, preferably, viewed in the direction of the longitudinal axis X (cf. Fig. 3 ), the mounting section 26 and the lens element 5 are aligned with one another on an outer side of the lamp support unit 1. Alternatively, it is also conceivable that the lens element 5 is arranged offset from the mounting section 26 towards the fastening section 20.
[0060] As in particular the Fig. 2 and 3 As can be seen, the lamp support unit 1 can further comprise a fixing element 7, with which the lens element 5 resting on the spacer projections 3 can be held or fixed. In the exemplary embodiment shown here, the fixing element 7 is a fixing spring or a U-shaped clamp.
[0061] The fixing element 7 can preferably be held via the carrier 2, as shown for example in the Fig. 2 and 3 The fixing element 7 can, for example, partially penetrate the carrier 2, as is also the case with the Fig. 2 and 3can be seen. A corresponding section of the fixing element 7 protrudes into the receiving space on both sides of the latter in order to engage behind the lens element 5 when the lens element 5 is inserted, in order to protect it from falling out when it rests on the spacer projections 3; this is achieved here by a corresponding positive fit and, if necessary, by means of a pre-tensioning action towards the spacer projections 3.
[0062] The fixing element 7 can preferably encompass the carrier 2 at least on the underside 27 of the fastening section 20 facing away from the fastening side 21, as is particularly the case with the Fig. 3 can be seen.
[0063] The light support unit 1 can further comprise a device support 8, as shown in the Fig. 1-3 can be seen. The device carrier 8 can be attached or attachable to the carrier 2 or be formed integrally therewith. In the illustrated embodiment, the device carrier 8 can be attached to the device carrier 2 ( Fig. 2 ) or attached ( Fig. 1 and 3 ).
[0064] The device carrier 8 can preferably be detachably attached or attachable to the carrier 2. This is evident, for example, from the illustration of the Fig. 3 The device carrier 8 is attached or detachably attached to the carrier 2 by means of screws G.
[0065] The device carrier can preferably be provided on one or the underside 27 of the carrier 2 facing away from the fastening side 21, as is also the case with the Fig. 1-3 can be seen.
[0066] The device carrier 8 can preferably be provided on the mounting section 26, as is also the case with the Fig. 3 The device carrier 8 can preferably be fastened or attached to an inner side I of the light carrier unit 1 facing away from the outer side A, as is also the case with the Fig. 3 can be seen.
[0067] The light carrier unit 1 can further comprise components 9 for operating the light source 4. These are, for example, made of the Fig. 2 and 3 The components 9 can be, for example, electrical and / or electronic components. Shown here are, for example, a cable connection terminal 90 and an LED driver 91. Other components 9 are also conceivable. The components 9 are preferably, as shown, attachable or attached to the device carrier 8.
[0068] With reference to the Fig. 4 and 5A luminaire 10 according to the invention will now be described. In addition to the luminaire support unit 1 according to the invention, as already described above, it also has a luminaire body 11. This luminaire body 11 can, for example, be an elongated luminaire body 11. The luminaire body 11 can, for example, be provided as a profile element.
[0069] The lamp support unit 1 is attachable or fixed to the lamp body 11, preferably detachably, as the Fig. 4 and 5 Here, the light support unit 1 is releasably attached using screws S, for example.
[0070] The lamp body 11 can preferably delimit a lamp interior 12 in which the lamp support unit 1 is at least partially and preferably completely accommodated.
[0071] The luminaire 10 may further comprise a main light source 13 having a main light emission direction H. The main light emission direction H may preferably be opposite to the light emission direction L when the luminaire support unit 1 is attached to the luminaire body 11, as shown in Fig. 4 and 5 is indicated.
[0072] The main light source 13 can preferably be accommodated in the luminaire interior 12 at least partially and, as shown here, preferably completely.
[0073] As in Fig. 5As shown, the luminaire 10 or the luminaire support 1 can be attached to a support element 14 for fastening the luminaire 10. In the exemplary embodiment shown here, the support element 14 is a suspended element. In principle, it is also conceivable for the luminaire 10 to be provided as a surface-mounted luminaire or a recessed luminaire. Other types of luminaires for the luminaire 10 are also conceivable, such as wall luminaires, floor luminaires, table luminaires, and the like.
