[0002] Product displays of the type described above are primarily used in sales outlets such as department stores, supermarkets or DIY stores.
[0003] When using such product displays, they can be placed in particularly interesting places in the sales area instead of permanently installed product shelves, where they are particularly well placed in the field of vision of customers moving around the sales area.
[0004] Examples of product displays are known in the prior art, for example, from the documents DE 20 2015 102 755 U1, DE 20 2014 102 903 U1, and DE 20 2004 0 10733 U1. The product displays disclosed therein have a closed, annular base element to which a preferably U-shaped outer wall is attached, projecting upwards. Within the interior space formed by the U-shaped outer wall, shelves are arranged at different heights, into which corresponding goods can be stored.
[0005] The product displays are mounted on pallet-shaped base elements. These base elements typically have an edge dimension of 600 × 400 mm and are designed as reusable plastic pallets.
[0006] The goods to be offered are usually not stacked directly onto these plastic pallets, as the base elements are only approximately 150 mm high, making the goods stacked on them difficult for consumers to grasp. To ensure that the goods to be offered have a minimum grip height of, for example, 500 mm, a ring-shaped base frame, preferably made of corrugated cardboard, is placed on the base element, similar in plan to the sock element.

Claims
1. A product display for placement on a pallet-shaped base element (1) made from a rectangular cardboard blank, which can be folded open from a flat, folded transport state into a set-up state with a rectangular footprint, with a lower part (2) which is U-shaped in the set-up state and consists of a front wall (3), a right side wall (4) and a left side wall (5), wherein the right side wall (4) and the left side wall (5) are each provided with a central, vertically extending fold line (8, 9) which divides the right side wall (4) and the left side wall (5) into a front section (10, 12) connected to the front wall (3) and a rear section (11, 13) facing away from the front wall (3), and with a U-shaped upper part (14) consisting of a rear wall (25), a right side wall (15) and a left side wall (16),wherein the right side wall (15) and the left side wall (16) are double-walled, with a right inner wall part (18) connected to the rear wall (25) and a right outer wall part (17) glued to the right inner wall part (18), as well as with a left inner wall part (20) connected to the rear wall (25) and a left outer wall part (19) glued to the left inner wall part (20), the right and left outer wall parts (17, 19) and the right and left inner wall parts (18, 20) are each connected at their front edge facing the front wall (3) of the lower part (2) with a fold line (21, 22), and the right outer wall part (17) is connected to the rear partial region (11) of the associated right side wall (4) of the lower part (2) and the left outer wall part (19) is connected to the rear partial region (13) the associated left side wall (5) of the lower part (2) is formed in one piece in a common vertical plane., 2.
