Description

[0001] A PORTATIVE THERAPEUTIC BABY NEST

[0002] TECHNICAL FIELD

[0003] The present invention relates to a portative therapeutic baby nest comprising a baby bed, where a therapeutic area is provided and where a baby in neonate period is laid.

[0004] PRIOR ART

[0005] Neonate period covers the first 28 days after birth. In this period, neonates try to comply with extra-uterine life which is noisy, luminous, cool, dry and with gravity after intra-uterine life which has safety borders, which is dark, wet, with no gravity and where the sounds that exist outside are reaching after filtering. In this period, neonates are subjected to various stimulants including bright lights, high sound levels and frequently applied interventions in the medium. When the neonates are subjected to dense sensorial experience in mediums that are not suitable to their developments, their neuro-developments are affected. Thus, in this period, physiological balance of the neonates must be sustained, neuro-behavioral and neuro-sensorial development thereof must be supported, the energy thereof must be preserved and the comfort thereof must be provided. For providing this, this is supported with applications called as individualized developmental care and where the environment thereof is arranged in accordance with individual requirements and where the stimulants are reduced and the self-calming is facilitated. However, neonates may have problems like jaundice, distress, nasal congestion, respirations problems, vomiting, and for these reasons, they are brought to pediatric emergency department.

[0006] Neonate babies are subject to excessive sensorial stimulants in the form of bright lights, high and extraordinary sounds, tactile experiences in pediatric emergency department. This condition creates a disturbing and stressful experience for the neonate babies. At the same time, the invasive procedural interventions applied in such a medium lead to ache experiences. Formation of suitable mediums in pediatric emergency department for the babies that are in neonate period, where the sensitivity against the environmental factors and the liability to infections are at the maximum, and supporting thereof by means of individualized developmental care applications are substantially important. However, in a unique manner to neonates in each emergency department, the provision of sound isolation (maximum 45 dBA in daytime, maximum 35 dBA at night), medium illumination (minimum 10 lux and maximum 600 lux), the suitable position to the neonate (fetal position; the position which provides thermal and tactile stimulation in babies and which actuates self-regulatory systems of babies and which prevents painful stimulants coming from the outer medium and which increases comfort) and preparation of infrastructure for providing reducing interventional ache, for sustaining the comfort and for protecting neonates from hospital infections, and construction of the medium are substantially costly and difficult. In other words, provision of beds that are compliant with body sizes of neonates in each emergency department, furnishing these beds with fabrics including 100% cotton in a manner not giving damage to sensitive skins thereof, putting support pads that are made of 100% cotton and that support fetal posture of neonates in the bed, provision of materials for decreasing the bright light and noise, and provision of materials that are suitable for disinfecting of these materials after usage of each neonate are substantially costly and difficult. Particularly in Turkey, the absence of a room / medium arranged in a unique manner to the needs of neonates in pediatric emergency department is an important problem. In pediatric emergency department, there is a need for a medium where the invasive procedural processes shall be sustained that are specific for neonates.

[0007] Particularly folding and carrying of baby bed is known in the technical field. In relation with this, the invention with no CN110680117 relates to a portative multi-functional foldable baby bed for outer mediums.

[0008] In the invention, the outer medium portative multi-functional foldable baby bed comprises a main storage bag. The main storage bag comprises a lateral frame bag. Both sides of the lower surface of lateral frame bag are extending for forming fabric panels, and zipper mechanisms for joining fabric panels are arranged at both lateral edges of the lateral frame bag. The zipper mechanisms are released, and the fabric panels and the lateral frame bag are separated, and the baby bedstead is formed. As the lateral frame bag is arranged in a compliant manner with fabric panels and zipper mechanisms, the baby bed is foldable in a rapid manner for storage. In the invention, with the help of bird’s eye fabric mosquito nets, the mosquito preventing effect of the baby bed is supported. Thus, biting of the baby by mosquitos in open air is desired to be prevented. However, there is no solution related to providing supporting in procedural processes applied to neonate babies in all pediatric emergency department in Turkey, for instance, for protecting the comforts during venous blood drawing process, for reducing the aches, particularly for therapeutic supporting. Moreover, there is also no solution which shall provide protection for babies from light and noise in neonate period during the procedure. As a result, because of the abovementioned problems, an improvement is required in the related technical field.
