Method for hydrogen fueling and hydrogen fueling system

Abstract

A method for hydrogen refueling is proposed in which hydrogen (1) is subjected to an expansion process, wherein the expansion process is carried out using a hydraulically operated expander (40) which is used to drive a radial piston generator (15), wherein the expander (40) has n expander stages (26-30, 26a) in each of which expander pistons (26a) are arranged, wherein the hydrogen is expanded in cylinder chambers on a first side of the expander pistons (26a), wherein the radial piston generator (15) has n rotationally symmetrically arranged high-pressure compression stages (15a), wherein cylinder chambers on a second side of the expander pistons (26a) are hydraulically coupled to the high-pressure compression stages (15a-15e) via hollow compartments (A), wherein oil columns are each received in the hollow compartments (A) which are set into oscillation in the expansion process.where n is an integer from three to ten. Means for implementing the procedure are also proposed.
