Description

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The invention, as the title of the present descriptive memory states, is a litter bin for tables, which is an innovation that, among the current techniques, provides advantages hitherto unknown.

[0002] Thanks to its design and configuration, the users of the table will be able to deposit papers or rubbish directly into the litter bin incorporated in the table, preventing the litter bin from falling as it is fastened to the table itself.TECHNICAL FIELD

[0003] Therefore, this invention falls within the field of manufacturing toys and lighting elements.STATE OF THE ART

[0004] On the terraces of bars and restaurants, tables are set up so that customers can sit while they enjoy the drinks and food that has been ordered.

[0005] Every table has a napkin holder, but it is not common to find a litter bin where we can deposit waste such as napkins, sachets, pips, etc.

[0006] Sometimes there are litter bins placed on top of the table, but they are impractical because if the tables are moved to put them together, as is often the case, the litter bin can end up on the floor, spilling its contents over the floor.

[0007] The same applies if there are strong gusts of wind, which may blow the litter bin over, along with its contents.

[0008] In order to solve the problems detailed above, the present invention is presented.

[0009] No product with the same technical features as the invention presented herein is known to exist.DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0010] The present invention aims to create a litter bin for tables that provides a notable innovation within its field of application in the current state of the art, the characterising details which make this possible being conveniently set out in the final claims which accompany the present description.

[0011] The litter bin for tables allows the user to always have a litter bin available to dispose of waste such as napkins, papers, sachets, etc., thus avoiding staining the floor. The fact that the litter bin is fastened to the table means that they are not knocked to the floor, spilling their contents, by the wind, or when the tables are moved to put them together or change their location.

[0012] For this purpose, the litter bin for tables comprises a hollow body which is fastened to the table via a fastening means, the hollow body having a base with an operable lid.

[0013] The fastening means may be removable, so that if the litter bin is damaged or needs to be replaced for any other reason, this can be done.DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

[0014] To complete the description provided herein, and for the purpose of helping to make the features of the invention more readily understandable, this description is accompanied by a figure constituting an integral part of the same, which by way of illustration and not limitation represents the following. Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the litter bin incorporated in a table. Figure 2 shows a perspective view of the body of the litter bin with the operable lid open, which is the position to be adopted for emptying the waste. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

[0015] The litter bin for tables comprises a hollow body (2) that is fastened to the table (3) via fastening means, the hollow body (2) having a base with a lower operable lid (4), which can be opened downwards, as shown in the figures, or can be moved upwards to remove the waste through the mouth of the hollow body (2). In the latter case, it may have an actuator on the side to move the operable lid upwards. The actuator passes through a side slot, preferably closed by two rubber edges between which the actuator moves.

[0016] It may also be desirable for the upper surface of the operable lid (4) to be inclined so that the waste falls over the slope to one side.

[0017] To easily empty the litter bin, it has an operable lid (4) at its base. To empty it, the lid is simply opened, a bag placed underneath and the rubbish falls inside by gravity. Depending on the embodiment, the operable lid (4) can also pour the waste out of one side of the mouth.

[0018] The fastening means for fastening the hollow body (2) to the table (3) may be by means of a clamp, screws or any other similar means.

[0019] Preferably, the litter bin (2) is made of stainless steel, which is a weather resistant material.

[0020] The fastening to the table (3) may be screws, a clamp, a vice or any other type of fastening.

[0021] Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the ways of implementing it, it is not considered necessary to extend its explanation for any person skilled in the state of the art to understand its scope and the advantages which derive from it, specifying that, within its essential nature, it can be carried out in other embodiments that differ in detail from the one provided by way of example, and which are also covered by the requested protection, provided that they do not alter, change or modify its fundamental principle.
