[0005] Cooker hoods are electric suction devices for exhausting or absorbing food odours and smoke produced during cooking via snail fans in places where cooking elements such as cookers are located. The cooker hoods further consist of a motor group that gives movement the snail fan, a chimney or activated carbon filter that removes the air from the environment, a lighting group that illuminates the stove on which cooking is performed, and a single, two or three-piece body with a control panel.
[0006] The said cooker hoods included in the prior art generally comprise a moving cover on a body mounted on the wall next to the fan. The cover can be present at a certain angle by moving on the cooking elements. Therefore, pistons, hinges and locking mechanisms are used in the covers. In the state of the art, piston systems supporting elements and locking mechanisms increase the cost of current designs. For this reason, today, there is a need for a cooker hood which has movement mechanisms that will eliminate the need for the said elements, provide a significant cost reduction and suction power efficiency.
[0007] The Turkish patent document no. TR2018 / 17521, an application included in the state of the art, discloses a hood hinge assembly. The said invention comprises a glass adhesive element which enables the opening and closing movement of the glass, metal or plastic cover located on the front part of the filter positioned in the motor housing of the hood wherein the cover is mounted; a hinge element positioned on the glass adhesive element in order to provide the opening and closing movement of the cover, and a hinge element counterpart which provides a moving structure by providing a bearing for the hinge element.

[0009] An object of the present invention is to realize a cooker hood which has a movement mechanism for enabling the cover to be present in the desired position on the body without the need for fixing it with an element such as a piston.
[0010] Another object of the invention is to realize a cooker hood wherein parts blocking the air flow are removed and the efficiency of the suction power is increased.
[0011] A further object of the invention is to realize a cooker hood wherein the need for the locking systems included in the state of art is eliminated.

[0035] An inventive cooker hood (1) for enabling a cover thereof to be present in a desired position on the body comprises at least one body (2); at least one cover (3) which makes opening and closing movements on the body (2); at least one fixed plate (4) which is connected to the body (2) at one end; and comprises at least one connection gap for connection; at least one moving plate (5) which is connected to the cover (3) at one end and connected to the fixed plate (4) at the other end; and has at least one connection gap for connecting to the fixed plate (4) in such a way that it corresponds with the connection gap in the fixed plate (4); at least two mount brackets (6) which are located at the end where the fixed plate (4) is connected to the moving plate (5); at least two connection ends (7) which are located at the end where the moving plate (5) is connected to the fixed plate (4); at least one pin (8) which is located on at least one of the mount bracket (6) or the connection end (7); at least one channel (9) which is located on the mount bracket (6) of the fixed plate (4) wherein the pin (8) is not present or on the connection end (7) of the moving plate (5) wherein the pin (8) moves inside during the opening and closing movement of the cover (3); at least one housing (10) which is located in the channel (9); and enables the cover (3) to be fixed preferably when in the open position upon the pin (8) penetrating therein; at least one connection mechanism (11) which enables the connection of the fixed plate (4) and the moving plate (5) to each other; holds the plates (4,5) together by passing through the connection gaps in both plates (4,5); and allows either the moving plate (5) to move by pressing the fixed plate (4) or the fixed plate (4) to move by applying pressure to the moving plate (5).

In another preferred embodiment of the invention, the cover (3) can be made of sheet metal, plastic or different materials. The filter can be cleaned by being removed from the body (2) when the cover (3) is in the open position.

In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the fixed plate (4) is made of sheet metal and is formed by bending the ends of the sheet metal of which the mount brackets (6) have been cut. In the preferred embodiment, the fixed plate (4) comprises an inclined channel (9) in the mount brackets (6) wherein the pin (8) in the moving plate (5) is able to move therein. The channel (9) comprises a plurality of housings (10) that will enable the cover (3) to be fixed in the desired position upon the pin (8) penetrating therein. The cover (3) can be fixed at the desired angle by increasing the number and position of the housings (10).
[0039] The moving plate (5) included in the inventive cooker hood (1) comprises a surface that is used for connection to the cover (3) and two connection ends (7) that are located at the ends of the said surface and are one piece with the surface. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the moving plate (5) is made of sheet metal and is formed by bending the ends of the sheet metal of which the connection ends (7) have been cut. In the preferred embodiment, the moving plate (5) comprises a pin (8) located on the connection end (7). Therefore, the cover (3) can be fixed in the closed and open positions and the cooker hood filter can be removed from the body (2) when the cover (3) is in the open position.
[0044] The opening and closing movement is achieved with fewer parts and lower costs by means of a movement mechanism which is included in the inventive cooker hood (1) and consists of the fixed plate (4), the moving plate (5) and the connection mechanism (11) enabling the said plates (4,5) to be brought together. Furthermore, due to the low number of parts in the movement mechanism, the suction power efficiency of the cooker hood (1) is increased by removing the parts obstructing the air flow.

Claims
CLAIMS1. A cooker hood (1) for enabling a cover thereof to be present in a desired position on the body; comprising at least one body (2); at least one cover (3) which makes opening and closing movements on the body (2); and characterized by at least one fixed plate (4) which is connected to the body (2) at one end; and comprises at least one connection gap for connection; at least one moving plate (5) which is connected to the cover (3) at one end and connected to the fixed plate (4) at the other end; and has at least one connection gap for connecting to the fixed plate (4) in such a way that it corresponds with the connection gap in the fixed plate (4); at least two mount brackets (6) which are located at the end where the fixed plate (4) is connected to the moving plate (5); at least two connection ends (7) which are located at the end where the moving plate (5) is connected to the fixed plate (4); at least one pin (8) which is located on at least one of the mount bracket (6) or the connection end (7); at least one channel (9) which is located on the mount bracket (6) of the fixed plate (4) wherein the pin (8) is not present or on the connection end (7) of the moving plate (5) wherein the pin (8) moves inside during the opening and closing movement of the cover (3); at least one housing (10) which is located in the channel (9); and enables the cover to be fixed when in the open position upon the pin (8) penetrating therein; at least one connection mechanism (11) which enables the connection of the fixed plate (4) and the moving plate (5) to each other; holds the plates (4,5) together by passing through the connection gaps in both plates (4,5); and allows either the moving plate (5) to move by pressing the fixed plate (4) or the fixed plate (4) to move by applying pressure to the moving plate (5).
2. A cooker hood (1) according to Claim 1; characterized by the body (2) which contains a snail that enables the air to be sucked in by vacuuming and a motor that runs the snail; and enables the air to be transmitted to the chimney or to be filtered by a filter element.
3. A cooker hood (1) according to Claim 1 or 2; characterized by the fixed plate (4) which comprises a surface that is used for connection to the body (2) and two mount brackets (6) that are located at the ends of said surface and are one piece with the surface.
4. A cooker hood (1) according to any one of the preceding claims; characterized by the fixed plate (4) which comprises an inclined channel (9) in the mount brackets (6) wherein the pin (8) in the moving plate (5) is able to move therein.
5. A cooker hood (1) according to any one of the preceding claims; characterized by the channel (9) which comprises a plurality of housings (10) that will enable the cover (3) to be fixed in the desired position upon the pin (8) penetrating therein.
6. A cooker hood (1) according to any one of the preceding claims; characterized by the moving plate (5) which comprises a surface that is used for connection to the cover (3) and two connection ends (7) that are located at the ends of the said surface and are one piece with the surface.
7. A cooker hood (1) according to any one of the preceding claims; characterized by the pin (8) which moves inside the channel (9) during opening and closing of the cover (3) and enables the position of the cover (3) to be fixed by fitting into a housing (10) located in the channel (9).

A cooker hood (1) according to any one of the preceding claims; characterized by the connection mechanism (11) which comprises at least one spindle (12), at least one flanged nut (13) connected to the spindle (12), at least one spring (14) located on the spindle (12) and at least one joiner pin (15) located at the end of the spindle (12).

A cooker hood (1) according to any one of the preceding claims; characterized by the connection mechanism (11) which comprises a spindle (12), at least one nut (13) connected to the spindle (12), at least one spring (14) located on the spindle (12) and at least one clip (16) located at the end of the spindle (12).
10. A cooker hood (1) according to any one of the preceding claims; characterized by the spring (14) which enables the moving plate (5) to apply pressure against the fixed plate (4) in order for the pin (8) to fit into the housing (10).
