[0001] The present disclosure relates to faucet accessories, specifically to a faucet top mounting assembly.BACKGROUND

[0002] Currently, faucets are usually fixed to countertops using bolts and nuts. During installation, bolts are first fixed to a faucet, then water pipes and the bolts are passed through a mounting hole in a countertop. Next, washers are fitted to the bolts underneath the countertop. Then nuts are fitted onto the bolts, and the nuts are tightened with a wrench. However, the limited space and poor lighting conditions underneath the countertop make the installation process inconvenient.

[0007] The purpose of this disclosure can be achieved through the following technical solution: A faucet top mounting assembly comprises a cylindrical base and a fixing block. The base and the fixing block are configured to work together to clamp a countertop. The base comprises a vertically arranged through hole for a bolt to pass through. The fixing block is threadedly connected to the bolt. A mounting plate is vertically arranged at a bottom end of the base. Claims

1. A faucet top mounting assembly, comprising a cylindrical base (1a) and a fixing block (2), the base (1a) and the fixing block (2) being configured to work together to clamp a countertop, the base (1a) comprising a vertically arranged through hole (1a3) for a bolt (3) to pass through, the fixing block (2) being threadedly connected to the bolt (3), characterized in that a mounting plate (1b) is vertically arranged at a bottom end of the base (1a), the fixing block (2) being connected to the mounting plate (1b) and being capable of sliding up and down along the mounting plate (1b), the mounting plate (1b) being plate-shaped with a bottom portion being bent inward from the outside, and a yielding clearance (6) being formed between a wall surface of the through hole (1a3) and a rod of the bolt (3), wherein the yielding clearance (6) is configured such that the bolt (3) is capable of tilting when a bottom end of the bolt (3) moves towards an inner side of the mounting plate (1b).

2. The faucet top mounting assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that the bending portion at the bottom of the mounting plate (1b) is downwardly inclined from the outside to the inside.

The faucet top mounting assembly according to claim 2, characterized in that the mounting plate (1b) has a slit (1b2) arranged along a sliding direction of the fixing block (2), the slit (1b2) penetrating through a bottom surface of the mounting plate (1b), the fixing block (2) being configured to pass through the slit (1b2), and at least one side of the fixing block (2) facing the mounting plate (1b) comprising an inner limiting part (2a) and an outer limiting part (2b) arranged oppositely, wherein a side edge of the mounting plate (1b) at the slit (1b2) is embedded between the inner limiting part (2a) and the outer limiting part (2b) of a corresponding side of the fixing block (2).

The faucet top mounting assembly according to claim 3, characterized in that a side of the outer limiting part (2b) facing the inner limiting part (2a) is " "-shaped in a vertical direction and projects toward the inner limiting part (2a), with a transition at a middle corner being arc-shaped; a side of the inner limiting part (2a) facing the outer limiting part (2b) forming an inwardly inclined surface (2a1), wherein the inwardly inclined surface (2a1) is inclined inward toward the mounting plate (1b) from a top surface to a bottom surface of the fixing block (2); while a top surface and a bottom surface of the inner limiting part (2a) transition smoothly into the inwardly inclined surface (2a1) with a rounded arc.

The faucet top mounting assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that a wall surface of the through hole (1a3) at a side closer to the center of the base (1a) is half-conical, with a small diameter at a top and a large diameter at a bottom, while a wall surface of the through hole (1a3) at a side farther from the center of the base (1a) is half-cylindrical.

6. The faucet top mounting assembly according to claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the mounting plate (1b) is arched, and comprises a recessed wall (1b4) below the bending portion at the bottom, wherein the recessed wall (1b4) is a flat plate.

7. The faucet top mounting assembly according to claim 6, characterized in that the recessed wall (1b4) comprises ribs (1b5) at a side edge of the slit (1b2), wherein the ribs (1b5) protrude towards the inner side of the mounting plate (1b).

8. The faucet top mounting assembly according to claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the fixing block (2) comprises an inner limiting part (2a) and an outer limiting part (2b) on each of two sides facing the mounting plate (1b), wherein two side edges of the mounting plate (1b) at the slit (1b2) are respectively embedded between the inner limiting parts (2a) and the outer limiting parts (2b) of two corresponding sides of the fixing block (2).

9. The faucet top mounting assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that there are two bolts (3), and each bolt (3) is connected to the fixing block (2).

10. The faucet top mounting assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the bottom end of the bolt (3) is fitted and fixed with a locking cap (5).
