Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for executing first natural language instructions relating to desired analytical processing of data in a database stored on data storage means (12) of a first server (1), characterized in that it comprises the following being implemented by data processing means (21) of a second server (2): (a) obtaining said first instructions from a client terminal (10); (b) translating said first instructions into an abstract syntax tree; (c) generating, from said abstract syntax tree, second instructions in an object-oriented programming language different from an operating language of said database; (d) executing said second instructions in a virtual machine implemented by the data processing means (21) so as to carry out said desired analytical processing, comprising triggering requests on said database in said operating language of the database, said virtual machine using an object kernel interfacing with said database.
