AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Traditional aerosol dispensers are limited in their ability to dispense products in both upright and inverted positions, leading to inefficiencies and user inconvenience.

Method used

A multidirectional aerosol dispensing device featuring an aerosol container with a valve located at the bottom, an undercap with a base surface for inverted storage, and an actuator lever that allows for dispensing at various angles, ensuring product can be dispensed effectively in both upright and inverted orientations.

Benefits of technology

The device enables efficient and convenient dispensing of aerosol products in multiple orientations, preventing accidental dispensing when stored inverted and improving user ergonomics and targeting accuracy.

Abstract

A multidirectional aerosol dispensing device and methods of utilizing the device in a variety of positions, including an inverted position, to dispense an aerosol product. The device may include an aerosol container, an undercap, and an actuator. An aerosol valve may be located at a bottom portion of the aerosol container. The aerosol valve may have a valve stem for displacing the aerosol valve from a biased closed position to an open position upon a movement of the valve stem to discharge the aerosol product from the valve stem. The undercap may be mounted to the aerosol container with the top portion of the undercap being adjacent to the bottom portion of the aerosol container. The bottom portion of the undercap may terminate in a base surface for supporting the device on a supporting surface to store the aerosol dispensing device in an inverted position.
