[0001] The present invention relates to an arrangement for providing a connection between a profile and a further element according to claim 1. STATE OF THE ART
[0002] Wall systems for sanitary facilities are known from the prior art. Such wall systems are provided with profiles which are then clad with a panel wall. The profiles serve both as support elements for the panel wall and as storage areas for sanitary fixtures. PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION
[0003] It is an object of the present invention to provide an arrangement which has a profile and a functional element and which allows the connection of the profile with a further element, wherein the functional element can be easily mounted on the profile.
[0004] The device according to claim 1 solves these and other problems. The arrangement according to claim 1 serves to provide a connection between a profile and a further element. The arrangement comprises a profile extending along a profile axis, with a side wall that laterally delimits an interior profile space, and with end faces that delimit the profile at each end, and at least one functional element connectable to the profile, comprising a functional section and at least one fastening section. In the connected state, when the functional element is connected to the profile, the functional section projects away from the profile from the end face. The fastening section projects from the end face in the direction of the profile. The profile has at least one fastening opening on the profile side in the side wall. The fastening section has at least one fastening opening on the fastening section side.The arrangement further includes a fastening element. The at least one fastening element extends through the at least one profile-side fastening opening and the at least one fastening section-side fastening opening, so that a firm connection is provided between the profile and the functional element.
[0005] The sophisticated arrangement provides a structure in which a connection of the arrangement with another profile can be provided very easily.
[0006] Because at least one fastening element extends through both fastening openings, a separation movement between the profile and the functional element is prevented. Any force occurring during a separation movement is absorbed by the fastening element.
[0007] Preferably, the fastening openings extend along a common axis, which is inclined at an angle, particularly at right angles, to the profile axis. Preferably, the profile has a groove extending in the direction of the profile axis on at least two opposite side walls. One of the aforementioned profile-side fastening openings is arranged in each of the two grooves.
[0008] The fastening element is preferably designed as a one-piece fastening element. Preferably, the functional element is made of a die-castable material, such as die-cast zinc or die-cast aluminum.
[0009] In a first embodiment, the fastening section is provided by two arm sections. One of the arm sections extends into one of the grooves, and the other arm section extends into the other groove. Each arm section has at least one of the aforementioned fastening openings on the fastening section side.

The arm section has a retaining section and a recessed section on both sides, with the projection extending into the recessed section and the retaining section positioned between the projection and the base leg. This design has the advantage that the arm sections and the grooves are well guided relative to each other, which increases the stability of the connection.

Claims
1. Arrangement for providing a connection between a profile (1) and a further element (E), wherein the arrangement comprises a profile (1) extending along a profile axis (A) with a side wall (2) which laterally delimits a profile interior (3) and with end faces (4) which delimit the profile (1) at each end, and at least one functional element (5) connectable to the profile (1) with a functional section (6) and at least one fastening section (7), wherein in the connected state, when the functional element (5) is connected to the profile (1), the functional section (6) projects away from the profile (1) from the end face (4) and the fastening section (7) projects from the end face (4) in the direction of the profile (1), and wherein the profile (1) has at least one profile-side fastening opening (8) in the side wall (2) and wherein the fastening section (7) has at least one fastening section-side fastening opening (9).and wherein the arrangement further comprises at least one fastening element (10) which extends through the at least one profile-side fastening opening (8) and the at least one fastening section-side fastening opening (9) so that a fixed connection is provided between the profile (1) and the functional element (5).

Arrangement according to claim 1, characterized by the fact thatthe profile (1) has a groove (11) extending in the direction of the profile axis (A) on at least two opposite side walls (2), wherein one of the aforementioned profile-side fastening openings (8) is arranged in each of the two grooves (11), and that the fastening section (7) is provided by two arm sections (12), wherein one of the arm sections (12) extends into one of the grooves (11) and the other of the arm sections (12) extends into the other of the grooves (11), and wherein the arm sections (12) each have at least one of the aforementioned fastening section-side fastening openings (9).

Arrangement according to claim 2, characterized by that the fastening element (10) extends through the two fastening section-side fastening openings (9) in the arm sections (12) and through the two profile-side fastening openings (8); or thatone of the fastening elements (10) extends through one of the aforementioned fastening section-side fastening openings (9) and one of the aforementioned profile-side fastening openings (8), and another of the fastening elements (10) extends through another of the aforementioned fastening section-side fastening openings (9) and another of the aforementioned profile-side fastening openings (8).

Arrangement according to claim 2 or 3, characterized by the fact thatthe groove is bounded by a base leg (13) and two side legs (14) projecting from the base leg (13), each of the side legs (14) having a projection (15) extending into the respective groove, and the arm section (12) has a retaining section (16) and a recessed section (17) on both sides, the projection (15) extending into the recessed section (17) and the retaining section (16) being located between the projection (15) and the base leg (13).

Arrangement according to one of claims 2 to 4, characterized by the fact thatthe arm section (12) has an arm length (L) from the functional section (6) to its free end (25), wherein the at least one fastening opening (9) is closer to the free end (25) than to the functional section (6); or wherein the at least one fastening opening (9) is closer to the functional section (6) than to the free end (25); or wherein the at least one fastening opening (9) is located midway between the free end (25) and the functional section (6).

Arrangement according to claim 1, characterized by the fact that the fastening section (7) is provided by a plug-in section (18) which, in the connected state, projects into the interior of the profile (3), wherein the at least one fastening section-side fastening opening (9) is arranged in said plug-in section (18).

Arrangement according to claim 6, characterized by the fact thatthe profile (1) has one of the aforementioned profile-side fastening openings (8) on each of two opposite side walls (2), wherein the fastening element (10) extends through the two profile-side fastening openings (8) and the at least one fastening section-side fastening opening (9) in the said plug-in section (18); or wherein a first fastening element (10) extends from one profile-side fastening opening (8) into one of the fastening section-side fastening openings (9) and wherein a second fastening element (10) extends from the other profile-side fastening opening (8) into one of the fastening section-side fastening openings (9).

Arrangement according to claim 6 or 7, characterized by the fact thatat least one of the side walls (2) has a plurality of spaced-apart locking recesses (19) which extend into the profile interior (3), wherein the said plug section (18) has at least one free cut (20) in which the locking recesses (19) come to lie in the connected state.
9. Arrangement according to one of claims 6 to 8, characterized by the fact that the plug section (18) has a cavity (21) which is bounded by side walls (22).
10. arrangement according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by the fact that the functional element (5) comprises the arm sections (12) according to one of claims 2 to 6 and the plug-in section (18) according to one of claims 7 to 9, wherein the plug-in section (18) is located between the two arm sections (12).
