Abstract
Description
[0001] DESCRIPTION
[0002] A TRANSPORT PALLET AND PALLET LEG SYSTEM
[0003] Technical Field
[0004] The invention relates to a pallet system that prevents damage during transport of equipment such as barrels, drums, bins and the like used for storing and transporting creams, pastes, powdered substances, sand, soil and liquid materials and the like from one place to another, which can be transported by equipment such as barrels, drums, bins and the like.
[0005] In particular, the invention relates to a pallet and a leg mechanism of this pallet, which will facilitate both the easy adaptation of the safety tape used to prevent tipping during transport of equipment such as barrels, drums or bins in which creams, pastes, powdered substances, sand, soil and liquid materials and the like are stored, which can be transported by equipment such as barrels, drums or bins, and the transport of the pallet system used with the help of a forklift.
[0006] State of the art
[0007] Currently, auxiliary equipment such as drums, barrels and bins are used to transport or store creams, pastes, powdered substances, sand, soil and liquid materials. These equipment are usually transported by placing them on the pallets. Since the existing standard size pallets are larger than these equipment, more than one equipment is placed on the pallet, wrapped with a stretch film and fixed with a safety tape at the same time. However, the materials transported by this method can easily tip over in the event of any shaking due to the weight imbalance caused by being placed side by side. This situation creates a disadvantage for users.
[0008] In addition, the wooden pallets can be broken and damaged by the forks of the forklift during transport by forklift. This both poses a risk to the safety of the materials and causes additional costs. There is a need for a new pallet structure developed to eliminate these problems and to provide a safer and more durable transport solution. There is a need for new structures that will eliminate the aforementioned disadvantages, prevent the risk of tipping over in case of any shaking, ensure the stability of pallets on the floor, make the process of pulling the safety tape more practical, and at the same time, prevent damage to the pallet and thus the product during transport by forklift. In the product of the invention, a leg system and a transport pallet have been created in which each equipment can be transported alone and which allows the safety tape to be pulled easily thanks to the leg structure it has. In the following, this transport pallet and pallet leg system and explanations will be given.
[0009] In the research carried out in the literature, the document numbered TR2018 / 20353 can be shown as an example of the state of the art. In the said document, it is stated that “This invention includes a pallet system in which the glass carboys positioned in the glass carboy basket can be transported together by automation, since the glass carboys, which are inevitable for healthier water, are not only healthy but also fragile due to their fragile structure against long transport processes, but loading and unloading them individually takes both individual labour and a long time.” However, in the submitted document, no arrangement is made regarding the leg systems of the pallets, and the slots where each of the glass carboys will sit are mentioned.
[0010] An example of the state of the art in the literature is the document numbered TR2016 / 06817. In the said document, “The inventive product is an adjustable transport pallet depending on the material. The purpose and main function of the pallet is to allow products of different sizes to be placed on it both at the same time and at different times.” However, in the presented document, there is no arrangement regarding the leg systems of the pallets, and a work is carried out for the transport of different types of products.
[0011] As a result, the existence of the above problems and the inadequacy of the existing solutions made it necessary to make a development in the relevant technical field.
[0012] Object of Invention
[0013] The present invention relates to a transport pallet and its leg system, which eliminates the above-mentioned disadvantages and provides new advantages in the relevant technical field. The main object of the invention is to provide a pallet with legs for the safe transport of equipment such as barrels, drums and bins.
[0014] Another object of the invention is to prevent damage to the pallet and to stabilise the pallet by means of the legs during the transport of the pallet.
[0015] Another object of the invention is to ensure that the safety tape to be applied on the equipment placed on the pallet is more resistant.
[0016] Another object of the invention is to provide a more practical application of the safety tape to be applied on the equipment placed on the pallet.
[0017] Another object of the invention is to provide a safer transport of pallets by a forklift truck.

[0033] Detailed Description of the Invention In this detailed description, the preferred alternatives of the inventive product are described only for a better understanding of the subject matter and without any limiting effect.
[0034] Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the inventive product, figure 2 shows a perspective view of the inventive product, and figure 3 shows a view of the hexagonal structure that emerges when the inventive product is made of plastic material. As can be understood from these figures, the inventive product can be manufactured from both traditional wooden material and plastic material. Firstly, the pallet (1) used is designed to carry a single piece of equipment and is dimensioned accordingly. The leg (2) used in the inventive product can be selected as a metal if it is used on a wooden pallet. At the same time, in models produced in plastic, the leg (3) part can be monolithic with the pallet (1 ) part. The leg (3) part is fixed to the pallet (1 ) from the leg pallet mounting area (8) with the help of screws. In this way, the leg (1) and the pallet (1) are easily assembled. The important part here is that the pallet contact area (4) and the pallet leg contact area (2) must completely overlap each other. Otherwise, the safety tape, which passes through the safety tape guide (5) and fixes the product, may be deformed by the leg (3). The safety tape, which is passed through the safety tape guide (5) in the legs (3) fixed on each side of the pallet (1 ), is brought over the product and fixed. The equipment to be transported is fixed on all four sides by performing the same process through the safety tape guide (5) on the other opposite legs (3). In this way, its strength is maintained without the need for even the stretching process used in the previous technique. The leg floor contact area (6) within the leg (3) is approximately 2 cm and is designed to ensure that the pallet can stand firmly and stably on the floor. It also guides the forklift contact area (7) on which the forklift forks rest during the transport of the pallet (1 ) by the forklift.
