The present addition relates to a ski linking device comprising, in accordance with claim 1 of the main patent, for the practice of, in particular, alpine, touring, cross-country, water skiing and the like, two frames intended to be fixed each to one of the skis and a removable linking arm fixed relative to at least one of the frames and allowing, when in place, a rigid link between the two frames so as to connect, or to contribute to connecting, the two skis rigidly linked to each other in a monoski, the linking arm being able to also be connected to the two frames in a pivoting manner allowing certain relative movements between the two skis. The purpose of this addition is to propose a particularly advantageous structure for the selective connection of the two skis, which can be either a pivoting connection between the connecting arm and the frames, or on the contrary a rigid connection to form a monoski type assembly. According to this addition, the ski linkage device is characterized in that it comprises a turret mounted pivotally on one of the frames, means for removably fixing the ends of the linkage arm to the turret, and means for selectively blocking the rotation of the turret relative to the frame. Thus, a pivoting connection is established between the turret and the frame. This connection is permanent and can be of high quality, particularly robust and relatively insensitive to contact with elements such as snow for skiing or seawater for waterskiing. Removable connections are then limited to locking mechanisms: locking the connecting arm relative to the turret when the two skis are to be joined, and locking the turret relative to the corresponding frame when a rigid connection between the two skis is desired. Preferably, the means for removably attaching the link arm to the turret include a stud with an enlarged head on the turret, and a lateral notch on the link arm, the notch receiving the stud under the enlarged head of the latter when the link arm is attached to the turret, the link arm having a latch selectively closing the entry of the notch so as to lock the stud in the notch. It is advantageous that the means for removably fixing the link arm to the turret include, on the turret, two rims between which the link arm is positioned and prevented from rotating relative to the turret when fixed to the turret. These two edges contribute to the rigidity of the connection between the two skis when the turret itself is immobilized relative to the frame. Advantageously, a drawer is mounted to slide on the turret in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the arm when the arm is fixed to the turret, this drawer being movable by sliding between an open position in which it allows the connecting arm to be associated and dissociated relative to the turret, and a closed position in which, when said end of the arm is fixed to the turret, the drawer covers this end of the connecting arm. This drawer protects the linking mechanisms between the arm, the turret and the frame, and contributes to the aesthetics of the entire device. The means for selectively blocking the rotation of the turret may include a pin that can slide within the turret between a position in which one end of the pin can move freely relative to the frame when the turret rotates, and a recessed position in which said end is engaged in a corresponding recess in the frame and locks the turret relative to the frame. Preferably, the pin can rotate within the turret between a position in which an offset of the pin is located opposite a corresponding region of the frame and allows the pin to penetrate into a recess in the frame and thus lock the turret relative to the frame, and a position in which said offset is angularly offset from the corresponding region of the frame and prevents the pin from penetrating the recess in the frame. In this second position, the pin cannot penetrate the recess even if during the rotation of the turret relative to the frame the pin passes in view of the recess in the frame during the use of the skis with a mobile connection between them. It is advantageous for the connecting arm to be pivotally attached at its other end directly to the other frame, and for this connection to be permanently fixed under normal use. The other frame advantageously includes means for removably retaining the connecting arm in a resting angular position when the two skis are separated. This prevents the connecting arm from being lost. Other features and advantages of this addition will become clearer from the description below. According to one variant, a system can, of course, be designed to secure the turret (101) to the frame (2) in a different and as simple a way as possible, minimizing handling for the skier, especially since manual actions are not very easy during skiing (for example, due to gloves). This variant has the advantage of allowing the stationary biski joint to be adjusted to a mobile biski joint with a single movement of the ski pole. This new system results in a turret (101) that is shorter in width to provide space for a clip (112) attached to the frame (2) along the longitudinal axis of the turret (101). On the supero-external part of the turret (101) a sliding panel (113) will be arranged intended to enter the clip (112) in the locking position of the turret (101) and so as not to block it the sliding panel (113) will not protrude longitudinally from the turret (101). The clip (112) attached to the frame will of course be sufficiently far from the turret (101) so as not to hinder the rotational movements of the latter in the rest position.

Claims

DEMANDS 1 - Ski linking device according to claim 1 of the main patent, characterized in that it comprises a turret (101) pivotally mounted on one of the frames (1 - 2), means for removably fixing one end of the linking arm (4) to the turret (101) and means for selectively blocking the rotation of the turret (101) relative to the frame (1). 2 - Device according to claim 1 of the present addition, characterized in that the means for removably fixing the connecting arm (4) to the turret (101) comprise a stud with an enlarged head (102) on the turret (101) and a lateral notch (103) on the connecting arm (4), the notch (103) receiving the stud (102) under the enlarged head of the latter when the connecting arm (4) is fixed to the turret (101). 3 - Device according to claim 2 of the present addition, characterized in that the connecting arm (4) includes a latch (104) selectively closing the entry of the notch (103) so as to lock the stud (102) in the notch (103). 4 - Device according to any one of claims 1 to 3 of this addition, characterized in that the means for removably fixing the connecting arm (4) to the turret (101) comprise, on the turret (101), two rims (105) between which the connecting arm (4) is positioned and prevented from rotating relative to the turret (101) when it is fixed to the turret (101). 5 - Device according to any one of claims 1 to 4 of this addition characterized in that it comprises a slider (106) mounted to slide on the turret (101) in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the arm when the arm is fixed to the turret (101), the slider (106) being movable by sliding between an open position in which it allows the connecting arm (4) to be associated and dissociated relative to the turret (101) and a closed position in which, when said end is fixed to the turret (101), the slider (106) covers this end of the connecting arm (4). 6 - Device according to any one of claims 1 to 5 of this addition, characterized in that the means for selectively blocking the rotation of the turret (101) comprise a pin (107) mounted to slide in the turret (101) between a position in which one end of this pin (107) can move freely relative to the frame and a recessed position in which said end is engaged in a corresponding recess (108) of the frame (2). 7 - Device according to claim 6 of the present addition characterized in that the pin (107) can rotate in the turret (101) between a position in which an eccentricity (109) of the pin (107) is located opposite a corresponding region of the recess (108) of the frame and allows the pin (107) to penetrate into the recess (108) of the frame and a position in which said eccentricity (109) is angularly offset with respect to the corresponding region of the recess (108) of the frame and prevents the penetration of the pin (107) into the recess of the frame (2). 8 - Device according to claim 7 of this addition, characterized in that the connection of the connecting arm (4) with the other frame (1) is, in normal use, non-removable. 9 - Device according to claim 8 of this addition, characterized in that said other frame comprises means (110) for removably retaining the connecting arm (4) in an angular rest position relative to said other frame (1) when the two skis are separated from each other. 10 - Device according to claim 1 of the present addition, characterized in that the locking system of the turret (101) of the frame (2) is carried out by means of a sliding panel (113) in a clip (112) attached either to the frame (2) or to the ski.
