Description

Title of the invention: wooden sash door device with non-standard dimensions up to 6.25 m2, capable of carrying triple glazing and equipped with frames closing in the same plane

[0001] The invention relates to a wooden French window device with a guillotine of non-standard dimensions up to 6.25 m2, capable of carrying triple glazing and provided with frames closing in the same plane according to the principle of a glass wall moving according to guillotine kinematics, and meeting a heat transfer coefficient value of 1.2 W / m2K for thicknesses of 68 mm or 0.8 W / m2K for thicknesses of 100 mm.

[0002] State of knowledge: It is first important to recall the principle of French windows which are the closest technologies in functional terms. These French windows are governed by two types of technologies known historically: - French doors with French opening, based on the principle of one or more leaves which open by rotating the opening on the frame using rotating axes placed in pivot connection between the opening and the frame. The limit of this technology, apart from the opening being limited in weight by the load capacity of the pivots, is that this technology violates the clearance of the bay window by multiple (vertical) uprights which distort the opening (vision, passage), - French windows with sliding opening, which can themselves be distinguished according to several technologies: the first of covering one element on the other (the most common) which violates the clearance over half the length of the French window, the second by pocket where the sliding assemblies are inserted into the wall but come to disturb the thermal resistance of the wall due to the clearances necessary for the position of the elements in the wall in the open position.

[0003] Outside of French window technology, there are sash windows, which act kinematically by a vertical sliding of the opening on another fixed pane placed above this first. The principle is that the sliding takes place on another plane. Several sliding technologies are known based on two principles: the first of a vertical sliding where the opening is continuously placed on a plane distinct from the fixed pane and slides parallel to the latter. This technology, the simplest, is today hampered by the normative requirements in terms of thermal resistance due to the need for an operating clearance between the planes which constrains the thermal performance. Another known technology consists of introducing a kinematics capable of ensuring the relative movement on two distinct planes to arrive in the closed position at panes placed in a single plane. This second technology calls for the introduction of rail connections on the uprights of the openings and frames in order to ensure angular clearance of the glass which then moves vertically. This technology meets the normative requirements on the thermal panel since in the closed position, the glass is pressed against the frame in the presence of insulating joints.

[0004] Whatever the known technologies relating to sash windows, these are however dimensionally constrained due to the moving load which cannot exceed 150 kg (mechanical resistance) for the most advanced technologies (example: industrial “Hawa”).

[0005] As a result of the object of a guillotine door window device integrating perfect thermal insulation, this requires the integration of triple glazing technology. Indeed, it is useful to recall the average index established according to the technologies: Glazing 4 / 12 / 4 = ug 2.4; Glazing 4 / 16 / 4 = ug 1.8; Glazing 4 / 16 / 4 under gas (argon type) = ug 1.3; Triple glazing = ug 0.6 to 0.8; Wall insulated according to RT 2012 standards = ug0.3.

[0006] This integration of triple glazing constrains the moving load and amplifies the mechanical constraints, which further disrupts the permitted glazing surface.

[0007] Consequently, given the state of knowledge, the technology of sash windows did not allow it to be introduced into a French window principle due to the mechanical constraints resulting from this technology and the thermal requirements to be obtained.

[0008] Presentation of the invention The invention relates to a wooden French window device with a guillotine of non-standard dimensions up to 6.25 m2, capable of carrying triple glazing and equipped with frames closing in the same plane according to the principle of a glass wall moving according to guillotine kinematics, and meeting a value of the thermal transfer coefficient of 1.2 W / m2K for thicknesses of 68 mm or 0.8 W / m2K for thicknesses of 100 mm, characterized by: - A wooden structure (a) for the construction of the square forming the opening and the fixed frame: = Either a three-ply assembly (b) of wood species made up of a first 23mm thick ply with a pine species placed on the outer part of the opening and which allows low thermal transfer, a second 23mm thick oak capable of ensuring the mechanical resistance of the opening, and a third 22mm thick oak contributing both to the mechanical resistance and to the reduction of thermal transfer between the interior and the center of the square, = either a three-ply assembly (b) made up of a single type of wood, larch, but whose fibers are oriented in an opposite direction in such a way that the central fold places its fibers in the horizontal direction, this to allow the load to be taken up during bending on the central part of the square while it is a question of accentuating the insulation on the exteriors, - An assembly of the standard structure which is however characterized by mechanical reinforcements (c) within the opening (d), which are determined according to its dimension; i.e.: = for glazing from 0 to 150 kg: no reinforcement necessary on the lower crosspiece, = for glazing from 150 to 250 kg: a steel reinforcement (c) responding to a quadratic moment of 3000 mm4 is placed longitudinally inside the crosspiece (e) and over its entire length, with an overhang (f) of the said reinforcement allowing it to be fixed on the vertical uprights (g) of the opening, this for the purpose of limiting the bending of the crosspiece (e) and also to absorb the shear forces located at the junction (h) of the vertical and horizontal parts of the opening (d), = for glazing of 250 to 350 kg: this steel reinforcement (c) inside the crosspiece is made according to the same principle of integration in the entire length of the lower crosspiece and of overhang, differing however in that the quadratic moment is 4500 mm4 while two other reinforcements (i) are integrated in the vertical uprights of the opening and are made integral (j) with the reinforcement of the lower crosspiece (e), - A particular kinematics of the opening according to a principle of limiting the bending forces on the height of the opening by reducing the tilting angle according to a three-phase opening process: = a first movement (k) of the upper part of the opening (1) in order to release it from the frame by tilting it through an angle of at most 3 degrees around an axis located on the lower part of the opening (m), = A second movement (n) in continuity with the first allows the rapid vertical repositioning of the entire opening (d) thanks to a rail slope (o) placed in the lower part of the frame and on which the lower part of the opening (m) slides, thanks to guides (p) placed laterally on the latter (d), thus allowing the entire opening (d) to rise while being constrained by the rails (o) and the guides (p), = A third movement (q) along the vertical of the opening (d) on a plane separate from the frame. - A counterweight and safety system (r) by cables (s) and blocker (t), adapted according to the inertia of the moving masses, characterized in that the cables (s) are placed on either side and concealed in the frame, allowing the balancing of the load for its effortless handling, - the blocker (t) acts as a parachute acting by gravity and detecting the presence of tensile forces on the cables (s) of the counterweight system (r); in the event of breakage or blocking causing the release of one of the cables (s), the blocker (t) undergoes an imbalance of forces which modifies its position and comes to block the movement by friction and bracing on the structure of the upright of the frame thus preventing any descent.
