Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Support for the edge of a swimming pool and swimming pool equipped with such a support Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of swimming pool manufacturing and relates in particular to a pool coping support which considerably facilitates the design of a swimming pool. State of the art
[0002] There are many types of in-ground, semi-in-ground and above-ground swimming pools today. Among in-ground swimming pools, we can mention in particular kit swimming pools, designed from concrete, steel, aluminum or composite material panels, masonry concrete block swimming pools, single-piece reinforced concrete swimming pools, single-shell swimming pools generally designed from polyester. Among semi-in-ground swimming pools, we can mention in particular kit swimming pools, made from wooden, composite or steel panels, concrete swimming pools, made from poured concrete, shuttering blocks or masonry concrete blocks and semi-in-ground shell swimming pools, made from polyester. Among above-ground swimming pools, we can mention kit swimming pools, made from an assembly of metal, wooden or resin panels.
[0003] The in-ground swimming pools currently on the market require the creation of a reinforced concrete belt delimiting the peripheral contour of the swimming pool, this belt receiving a coping stone, for example made of stone, allowing the contour of the swimming pool to be covered. The creation of such a reinforced concrete belt requires the intervention of a specific trade, in addition to the swimming pool installer. In addition, such a reinforced concrete belt requires a drying time of several weeks, at least three weeks. Summary of the invention
[0004] The present invention aims to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks.
[0005] To this end, the invention relates to a swimming pool kit comprising panels assembled together on their lateral edges so as to form a contour wall of the swimming pool. The swimming pool comprises coping supports having end edges assembled together by means of first assembly means, so as to form a belt. These coping supports comprise an internal longitudinal edge, the internal longitudinal edges of the coping supports being configured to match the upper edges of the panels when the belt and the contour wall are formed, second assembly means being configured to assemble said internal longitudinal edges to said upper edges. In addition, the swimming pool comprises posts configured to support the coping supports, the posts being distributed around the wall, outside of it, the upper ends of the posts being fixed to the respective coping supports by means of third assembly means. At least two posts will be used to support a coping support, preferably between three and six, depending on the length of the coping support. The implementation of this belt by an assembly of coping supports makes it possible to form a perfect parallelepiped, unlike other systems which implement a reinforced concrete belt. Thus, it is no longer necessary to wait for the concrete belt to dry to take precise measurements of the finished swimming pool, in order to manufacture the swimming pool accessories.
[0006] According to the invention, the swimming pool comprises struts arranged between the posts and the lateral edges of the panels. These struts make it possible to reinforce the assembly between the posts and the panels and, thus, to consolidate the frame of the swimming pool.
[0007] According to the invention, the swimming pool comprises coping stones configured to be positioned on the coping stone supports, on the outline of the swimming pool. These coping stones conceal the coping stone supports and the upper edges of the panels, once they are installed on the outline of the swimming pool.
[0008] According to an embodiment of the swimming pool which is the subject of the invention, the coping supports comprise on their upper face bosses configured to maintain a spacing between a lower face of the coping stones and the upper face of the coping supports. These bosses prevent water stagnation between the coping stones and the coping supports, which in particular improves the lifespan of the coping stones, in particular when they are made of wood.
[0009] According to one embodiment, the swimming pool according to the invention comprises profiles configured to be fixed above the upper edge of the panels, juxtaposed to the internal longitudinal edge of the coping supports. The profiles comprise a hooking member configured to receive and hold an upper edge of a liner intended to cover in a sealed manner an internal face of the contour wall, said copings being configured to cover the profiles once placed on the coping supports. Thus, the profiles are placed under the copings, which allows them to be completely hidden. In addition, this arrangement allows the liner to be properly tensioned, which is subjected to tension on the upper edges of the panels because the profiles are placed at right angles to the internal face of the contour wall of the swimming pool.
[0010] According to an embodiment of the swimming pool which is the subject of the invention, the profiles comprise an upper bearing face on which a lower face of the edges rests when they are placed on the edge supports. Preferably, in the presence of a boss on the upper face of the edge supports, the upper bearing face of the profiles are located in the same plane as the bosses, once said profiles are fixed on the upper edges of the panels.
[0011] According to the swimming pool which is the subject of the invention, the lower ends of the posts and the lower edges of the panels are configured to be anchored in a support surface, in particular a slab, by means of anchoring means. This ensures perfect immobilization of the frame of the swimming pool on the support surface.
[0012] According to the swimming pool which is the subject of the invention, at least the edge supports, the posts and the panels are made of metal, in particular stainless steel.
[0013] According to the invention, the swimming pool can be configured for an underground, semi-underground or above-ground installation. When the swimming pool is configured to be semi-underground or above-ground, it comprises covering plates configured to be fixed to the posts using fourth assembly means. [0036] The assembly of the panels 1, 2, 3 at their lateral edges 10, preferably by bolting, makes it possible to define a contour wall 101 of the swimming pool 100, as illustrated in particular in FIGS. 1 and 2. The contour wall 101 defines a rectangular parallelepiped, the panels 1 arranged in the corners being fixed together by means of corner brackets 4, as illustrated in [Fig. 12]. The assembly of the coping supports 6, 7, 8 defines a belt 102 which fits the upper edges 15 of the panels 1, 2, 3. The belt 102 defines a rectangle, the coping supports 6, 7, 8 being fixed to each other at their end edges 23, by means of connecting plates 11 (illustrated in particular in figures 9, 11 and 16) and bolts (not illustrated). The number of coping supports 6, 7, 8 and the number of panels 1, 2, 3 may vary, depending on the dimensions of the swimming pool 100.The assembly of the coping supports 6, 7, 8 with the panels 1, 2, 3 makes it possible to consolidate the contour wall 101 of the swimming pool 100 and to obtain perfect straightness on each side of said contour wall 101. The posts 5 support the coping supports 6, 7, 8 in order to keep them in a horizontal plane and to allow them to receive the coping stones 9 and to support the load of these coping stones 9 and of the users circulating on them, around the swimming pool 100. Bolts 13 ensure the fixing of the posts 5 with the coping supports 6, 7, 8, as illustrated in [Fig. 15]. Corner posts 5' also support coping supports 6, 7, 8 in the corners of the belt 102. Struts 12 are mounted between the posts 5 and the side edges 10 of the adjacent panels 1, 2, 3, as shown in particular in figures 1 to 3, their fixing being preferably carried out by bolting. The lower ends of the posts 5 and the lower edges of the panels 1, 2, 3 are fixed by screwing onto a concrete slab 29 (illustrated [Fig.3]), which makes it possible to constitute the bottom 103 of the swimming pool 100.
[0037] The coping supports 6, 7, 8 each comprise an upper face 18 which has bosses 19, illustrated in figures 7, 15 and 17. The internal longitudinal edges 24 of the coping supports 6, 7, 8 are fixed to the external faces 28 of the panels 1, 2, 3 at their upper edges 15, preferably by means of bolts 14. When the coping supports 6, 7, 8 are assembled with the upper edges 15 of the panels 1, 2, 3, the upper face 18 of each coping support 6, 7, 8 is offset upwards relative to the upper face 17 of the upper edge 15 of each panel 1, 2, 3. On the upper faces 17 of the panels 1, 2, 3 are fixed profiles 16, preferably by bolting. These profiles 16 include a groove 21 opening on the side of the internal face 26 of the panels 1, 2, 3, the groove 21 allowing the reception of a bead 25 arranged at the upper end of the liner 20, as illustrated in Figures 8, 15 and 17. This configuration makes it possible to properly tension the liner 20 which rests on the internal face 26 of the panels 1, 2, 3 and on the bottom 103 of the swimming pool 100. The profiles 16 also comprise an upper bearing face 27 which is positioned in the same plane as the bosses 19 on the upper face 18 of the coping supports 6, 7, 8, so that the copings 9 rest properly on the bosses 19 and on the upper bearing faces 27, with a slight spacing 31 between the lower face 32 of the copings 9 and the upper face 18 of the coping supports 6, 7, 8 and relative to the upper face 17 of the panels 1, 2, 3, which avoids the water stagnation between the edges 9 and the edge supports 6, 7, 8. The edges 9 conceal the profiles 16 once placed on the edge supports 6, 7, 8.
[0038] When stainless steel is used, as mentioned above, it will preferably be of the Magnelis® type manufactured by the company ARCELORMITTAL, which has very good anti-corrosion resistance.
[0039] In a semi-buried or above-ground swimming pool 100, the plates cladding 22 and the edges 9 may be designed in the same material traditionally used for the manufacture of tiles, for example ceramic, stone, porcelain stoneware, composite, zellige.
[0040] In an embodiment of a semi-buried or above-ground swimming pool 100, the assembly of the covering plates 22 on the posts 5 and the corner posts 5' will be carried out by a stapling system. According to an embodiment of this stapling system, the covering plates 22 comprise on their internal face grooves sized to engage directly on the posts 5 or on crosspieces 30 mounted on these posts, as illustrated in [Fig. 18], the posts 5 and the crosspieces 30 having a specific shape adapted to engage on said grooves, or even on stapling parts (not illustrated) which will be mounted on the posts 5 and the corner posts 5' or on the crosspieces 30 and configured to engage on said grooves.
[0041] The fixing of the coping stones 9 on the coping stone supports 6, 7, 8 can be carried out by screwing when these coping stones are made of wood and by gluing when these coping stones are made of a material other than wood, for example ceramic, stone, concrete, porcelain stoneware, zellige or composite tiles.
