A diffuser (20) for perfume, a perfumed composition, or an odor, suitable for being mounted and removably fixed on a grille of a ventilation, air conditioning, and / or air conditioning system, in particular of a motor vehicle passenger compartment, so as to be traversed by a flow of air to be perfumed, the diffuser comprising: - a front diffusion housing (22), suitable for containing a support (46) for a perfumed substance or composition which is in contact with an airflow that passes through the front housing; characterized in that it comprises a rear longitudinal fixing rod, a rear portion of which is formed into a clamp (62) for fixing the diffuser (20) and comprising two opposing longitudinal clamping arms (100), the front end sections (102) of which are connected to a connecting head (110) of the rear longitudinal fixing rod to the front diffusion housing (22),in which each clamping arm (100) has a rear end section (106-108) which is capable of cooperating by clamping with a part of said grid, in which at least one clamping arm (100) has a front end section (102) which is mounted articulated relative to the connecting head (110), about a transverse articulation axis (A), by which this at least one clamping arm (100) is mounted pivotally relative to the connecting head (110) between a closed angular clamping position and an open angular position allowing the mounting and dismounting of the diffuser, in that the front end sections (102) of the two clamping arms (100) are mounted articulated relative to each other and relative to the connecting head (110) about a common transverse articulation axis (A),and in that the diffuser comprises at least one spring (132) for returning at least one clamping arm (100) to its closed angular position.

3. Diffuser according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the two clamping arms (100) are two independent arms of identical design.

Diffuser according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the front end section (102) of each clamping arm (100) comprises a convex semi-cylindrical articulation portion (112) in two parts (116, 118) separated by a transverse slot (114), one (116) of the two parts (116, 118) being angularly delimited by a radial end facet (117) while the other part (118) is angularly delimited by a radial end facet (119), the two facets (117, 119) being angularly offset from each other, such that the cooperation of each facet (117) of one clamping arm (100) with the facet (119) of the other clamping arm (100) determines the maximum open angular position of the clamp (62), the facets (117, 119) acting as angular stop facets.

5. Diffuser according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the closed angular position of the clamping clamp is determined by the butting of an internal horizontal edge (120) of one clamping arm (100) with the edge (120) of the other clamping arm (100).

Diffuser according to claim 4 or 5, characterized in that the connecting head (110) also functions as an articulation head for the articulation portions (112) and for this purpose comprises a concave cylindrical housing (122) of complementary dimensions and whose horizontal axis is orthogonal to a transverse direction (T).

9. Diffuser according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least one (100B) of the two opposite arms has a lever (166B) for pivoting said at least one (100B) of the two opposite clamping arms relative to the other (100A) of the two opposite clamping arms.
