Description

Title of the invention: Universal exterior cutting guide for dovetail insulating formwork block

[0001] The present invention relates to a blade guide device adaptable to all sabre saw shoes available on the European market, this blade guide is intended to be inserted into the dovetails of non-smooth insulating formwork blocks and in particular insulating formwork blocks with dovetails.

[0002] The current situation does not allow for straight and clean cutting of dovetail insulating formwork blocks, which can lead, in addition to aesthetic inconveniences, to difficulties in implementing the product, the latter being a technical block requiring precision. Professionals who use these insulating formwork blocks ask the manufacturer for blade guides which are made to order, in an artisanal manner, depending on the brand of sabre saw used by the professional, which raises logistical and practical problems for both the insulating formwork block manufacturer and the professional partner.

[0003] The device according to the invention makes it possible to overcome this drawback because it makes it possible to offer a solution for a cutting guide for dovetail insulating formwork blocks that can be easily adapted to all sabre saws available on the market. The device consists of two metal plates. These two plates are spaced apart to allow the sabre saw blade to pass through. These two plates are themselves welded onto two solid rolled steel tubes. These two solid square metal tubes are themselves assembled by welding perpendicularly to two solid rolled steel tubes.

[0004] The accompanying drawing illustrates the invention:

[0005] [Fig.l] represents in perspective the device of the invention.

[0006] With reference to these drawings, the device is made up of two metal plates 3 millimeters thick, 130 millimeters long and 30 millimeters wide (1). These two plates are spaced 4 millimeters apart (2) to allow the sabre saw blade to pass through. These two plates are themselves welded onto two solid rolled steel tubes with a square section of 10 millimeters by 10 millimeters and a length of 108 millimeters (3). These two solid square metal tubes are themselves assembled by welding perpendicularly to two solid rolled steel tubes with a square section of 10 millimeters by 10 millimeters and a length of 200 millimeters (4). These plates will then be pierced using any drilling tool usable by the professional, as will the shoe of his sabre saw and the two elements are assembled to each other by means of two stainless steel screws passing through the shoe of the sabre saw and the universal device.

[0007] This device is accompanied by a very simple explanatory note and results in the fixing of the sabre saw to the device and the perfect fitting of the device into the dovetails of the insulating formwork block.

[0008] The device according to the invention is particularly suitable for cutting dovetail insulating formwork blocks; it is intended to be used on the construction site of people implementing this technology.
