Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Locking device for a toilet lid connection
[0001] The invention relates to the technical field of toilets and in particular to a locking device for toilet lid connections.
[0002] A toilet, also known as a bidet, is a sanitary appliance in the field of building and drainage materials. In order to facilitate the use of the toilet, a toilet seat is installed on the toilet, and in order to prevent water from splashing out of the toilet when flushing, a toilet cover is installed on the toilet, which also plays a role in reducing odors and flushing noises. The toilet cover is installed on the top of the toilet using a connecting structure.
[0003] At present, most connecting structures are installed using bolts for locking, which makes the installation process more tedious and increases the burden on the installer.
[0004] Therefore, it is desirable to provide a locking device for the connection of the toilet lid, in order to at least alleviate or even solve the problems stated in relation to the prior art.
[0005] This object is achieved by the features of claim 1. Advantageous improvements are indicated in the dependent claims. The features set forth in the claims can be combined with each other in any technologically sensible manner and provide further embodiments of the invention. The description, in particular in connection with the figures, explains the invention and discloses further embodiment variants.
[0006] For this purpose, the invention relates to a locking device for a toilet lid connector which is explained below.
[0007] The locking device comprises at least the following elements:
[0008] • a load support
[0009] • a clamping block, and
[0010] • a locking screw.
[0011] The locking device may be provided as an assembly, in particular the load support and the clamping block being provided movably relative to each other but connected. The locking screw may be arranged on / in the load support, be provided exposed and / or be selected according to specifications.
[0012] The clamping block is arranged or fixed (partially) inside the support of load and can be moved relative to the load carrier. In this case, the clamping block can be arranged in a vertical direction and in a horizontal direction, it is therefore mounted in the load carrier in particular in a pivotable manner (limited, e.g. over an angular range of approximately 90°). The load carrier has in particular an elongated shape, the direction along the length defining (approximately) the vertical direction. The load carrier has in particular an (approximately) cylindrical outer shell geometry, the direction along the diameter defining (approximately) the vertical direction. It is further provided that the clamping block is arranged movably or guided relative to the load carrier in the vertical direction.
[0013] The locking screw can pass through the load carrier in the vertical direction from a load carrier upper face (loosely or guidedly, but in particular not screwed in). Furthermore, the clamping block is provided with a threaded hole into which the locking screw fits (by screwing in). The clamping block can be driven by the locking screw into the load carrier (offset in the vertical direction) when the clamping block is arranged in the horizontal direction. In particular, the locking screw can be screwed into the clamping block, and thus move the clamping block towards the load carrier upper face or bring it closer to it.
[0014] A load-bearing upper face of the load-bearing support is provided with a positioning element which prevents the load-bearing support from rotating in a bowl opening of a toilet bowl (during mounting or when actuating the locking screw).
[0015] The positioning element is provided with at least one reinforcing structure which prevents the positioning element from being deformed, in particular during assembly or when the locking screw is actuated. The reinforcing structure may comprise ribs or the like, which protrude in particular radially (in the vertical direction), adapt to the diameter of the bowl opening and / or are arranged (distributed) spaced apart from each other in the circumferential direction of the positioning element.
[0016] A load-bearing underside may be provided with two curved connecting elements which are located symmetrically (oppositely) on the same periphery. In particular, one connecting element forms a connection from the positioning element towards the underlying surface. The connecting elements are preferably diametrically opposite. The connecting elements are not designed flat at least on the radially outwardly facing surface, but follow a circumferential course to a limited extent. The connecting elements may in particular be referred to as tubular connecting elements, since they can correspond approximately to a connecting element of a tubular (cylindrical) wall. However, the connecting elements may be made flat at least in some parts on the surface facing radially inwards.
[0017] The lower ends of the two connecting elements are connected (preferably in one piece) by means of a connecting plate. Preferably, the connecting plate is connected to only one edge of each connecting element, and therefore does not surround the connecting elements in particular. Preferably, the connecting plate is designed as a semicircular ring.
[0018] The upper ends of the two connecting elements are connected (preferably in one piece) fixedly to the positioning element.
[0019] The positioning element, the two curved connecting elements and the connecting plate form or (partially) delimit a receiving region for the clamping block, which receiving region is thus arranged within the receiving region. It is in particular possible for the clamping block to be received mainly or almost completely in the receiving region when the latter is oriented in the vertical direction. It is in particular possible for the clamping block to be received (only) in a central part in the receiving region when the latter is oriented in the horizontal direction. In the latter case, a bottom part and / or a head part of the clamping block may protrude (radially) out of the receiving region.
[0020] The clamping block is provided with limiting edges on different (in particular opposite) clamping block faces of the clamping block, which edges are designed to prevent the clamping block from falling out of the receiving region, in particular in the vertical orientation. The limiting edges can also be designed as a stop in the direction of the connecting elements, which edges limit a pivoting of the clamping block in the receiving region.
[0021] A distance between the two limiting edges (above the clamping block) can be equal to a width of the curved connecting elements (in the peripheral direction). Therefore, the limiting edges can be applied in a fitted manner against the peripheral edges of the connecting elements and thus retain or orient the clamping block (in the vertical position).
[0022] The connecting plate may be provided with an arcuate (or even approximately semi-circular) slot which can receive a bottom part of the clamping block. The bottom part may be designed there with an approximately correspondingly curved surface for support and / or guidance. The bottom part may be provided with an inclined (relative to the vertical direction) guide element, which fits into the arcuate slot. The guide element may extend from the bottom part just before the central part of the clamping block and be designed to project so as to increasing in this direction. The extent of the guide element may correspond approximately to the extent of one of the limiting flanges (seen in the vertical direction). The guide element may be arranged on a clamping block face at which the threaded hole also opens.
[0023] A clamping block support can be provided on a clamping block face, so that the clamping block can rest on the connecting plate in the receiving region and in a horizontal position with the aid of the clamping block support. In this horizontal support position, the threaded bore of the clamping block lies in the arcuate slot.
[0024] The two connecting elements may have in the region of the upper ends respectively a positioning block or a positioning wedge oriented towards the receiving region. The clamping block may be provided with (corresponding) positioning notches in order to cooperate with the two positioning blocks. In particular, the positioning blocks engage (for example by form-fitting) in the positioning blocks when the clamping block in the vertical and / or horizontal position is or is to be arranged and / or fixed particularly close to the positioning element of the load carrier. The inner block faces of the positioning blocks may extend obliquely (considered in the vertical direction), in order to set an increasing guidance and / or fixing when moving the clamping block in the direction of the positioning element of the load carrier.Additionally, one of the block bottoms of the locating blocks may be curved or tapered, to provide for more secure or smoother initial engagement of the locating blocks into the locating notches.
[0025] The positioning element can be designed with a central mounting hole for the passage of the locking screw. This is dimensioned in such a way that the screw part can be guided through it without any problem and the screw head can be securely arranged to rest on the positioning element.
[0026] A head part of the clamping block may, when oriented in the vertical direction, be formed with a guide bevel opposite the central mounting hole. The (front) guide bevel may be formed in the form of a narrowing U-shaped channel. The guide bevel may in particular cooperate with a base end of the locking screw in such a way that this base end strikes the guide bevel when guiding the locking screw through the mounting hole and initiates or causes a movement and / or pivoting of the clamping block in the receiving region. In this case, the orientation of the central threaded hole of the clamping block towards the locking screw may ultimately also be caused.
[0027] The positioning element has a positioning body (in particular approxi magnetically cylindrical), the outer dimensions of which correspond approximately to those of the set of connecting elements. In addition, the positioning element has a positioning ring (ending it upwards) which is adjacent to the positioning body. The positioning ring can be designed so as to protrude from the positioning body peripherally in the peripheral direction, for example in the manner of a peripheral rim.
[0028] The positioning body may have a plurality or even a multitude of outwardly facing and opposite (axially symmetrical and / or mirror-symmetrical) limiting stops. In particular, two pairs of limiting stops (i.e. 4 pieces) are provided on diametrically opposite sides of the positioning body.
[0029] The positioning body may have a plurality of reinforcing structures which are opposite each other and arranged between the limiting stops. Preferably, the number of reinforcing structures is less than the number of limiting stops. In particular, an individual limiting stop may respectively be provided between the two pairs of limiting stops.
[0030] The reinforcing structure may be implemented in the form of a reinforcing tab, i.e. extend in particular flat in the radial (horizontal) direction and in the axial (vertical) direction. Preferably, the limiting stops are also implemented in the form of tabs.
[0031] The reinforcing structures may be less radially protruding (in the horizontal direction) than the limiting stops. The latter may serve for guidance or clamping in the bowl opening.
[0032] The clamping block may be provided with a recess on a clamping block face in the region of the base portion. The recess is in particular provided opposite the guide element. By means of the recess, the weight of the clamping block can be reduced or the weight distribution can be adapted to the pivoting during assembly (e.g. tolerance compensation).
[0033] The material of the load support is preferably a synthetic material.
[0034] The material of the clamping block is preferably metal.
[0035] By means of the locking device described herein, the following advantageous effects can occur:
[0036] (1) the locking device provides a load-bearing support (load support). The clamping block is placed inside the supporting bracket, and after the locking screw is inserted, the clamping block can automatically switch to a horizontal state, so that the locking screw can then cooperate with the threaded hole, and thus only the locking screw needs to be rotated in order to drive the clamping block upwards, in order to fix the toilet cover connector on the toilet, which is more convenient. The positioning member is provided to prevent the bearing bracket from rotating when the locking screw is turned, and the reinforcing structure is provided to ensure the structural strength of the positioning member and increase its service life.
[0037] (2) The locking device is equipped with a limiting rim on the block of clamping, which can effectively prevent the clamping block from falling off the installation region, while the distance between the two limiting edges matches the width of the curved connecting members, thereby ensuring that the orientations of the threaded hole at the clamping block and the locking screw can coincide after the clamping block is rotated, thereby ensuring that the locking tasks are performed stably.
[0038] (3) The locking device has a curved groove or a curved slot at the of the connecting plate and a guide member on the clamping block. When the clamping block is horizontal, the side wall of the clamping block fits on the upper surface of the connecting plate and the upper surface of the guide member on the inner wall of the curved groove, so that the accuracy of the orientation of the threaded hole of the clamping block on the locking screw when rotating the clamping block is further guaranteed.
[0039] (4) The locking device is provided with a positioning block on the element curved connecting piece and a positioning notch on the clamping block, which can ensure that the clamping block does not wobble arbitrarily within the receiving region. The two inner walls of the positioning block are inclined obliquely inward, so that the normal rotation of the clamping block can be guaranteed and its jamming can be avoided.
[0040] (5) The locking device is provided with a mounting hole in the center of the element positioning hole, hole through which the locking screw is guided. The upper face of the clamping block is provided with a guide slot corresponding to the locking screw, to ensure that the locking screw can cause the clamping block to tilt when engaging.
[0041] (6) The reinforcement structure of the locking device uses a stopper reinforcement which not only guarantees the structural solidity of the limiting element but also plays a limiting role with the reinforcement stop.
[0042] (7) The locking device is provided, at the lower face of the block of clamping, a recess or a groove serving for weight reduction, which can reduce the weight of the clamping block and can prevent it from loosening independently and / or without work from the positioning block.
[0043] (8) The load support of the locking device is made of syn material Thetic and the clamping block is made of metal, which not only facilitates the mounting of the clamping block but also avoids the problem of corrosion of the clamping block, which can lead to failure of the connection.

[0051] [Fig.l] shows by way of example, in a side view, a toilet having a toilet bowl 17 on which a toilet cover 16 can be mounted by means of two toilet cover connectors 18.
[0052] The fastening of a toilet lid connector 18 by means of a locking device presented here is shown in [Fig. 2], a part of the ceramic of the toilet bowl 17 having a bowl opening 31 being shown centrally. A base 32 of the toilet lid connector 18 may be arranged on a bowl upper face 35, which base may also have a pin 33 for engaging and fastening the toilet lid 16. This base 32 has a locking housing, through which the locking device can be inserted into the bowl opening 31. By locking the locking device, the base 32 is fixed to the toilet bowl 17 in an oriented manner. The locking is effected by the fact that a clamping block 2 (having an orientation parallel to the horizontal direction H) is guided by means of a locking screw 19 in a load carrier 1 (pulled in the vertical direction V) and finally clamped against the lower face of the bowl 34.
[0053] Figures 3 to 6 disclose very similar embodiments of a locking device for a toilet lid connector 18, so that the essential elements, functions and effects can be explained together here. In the event that specific differences exist, this is stated. It should be noted that these views are not intended to relate to a single alternative embodiment. Nevertheless, details of one figure may be combined with details of one of the other figures.
[0054] The locking device comprises a load support 1, a locking screw- rusting 19 not shown here and a clamping block 2 provided in the load support 1. In the case shown, the load support 1 and the clamping block 2 are designed with an elongated basic shape, which basic shapes are provided so that their longitudinal axes are oriented relative to each other (in the vertical direction V) approximately parallel or even coaxially.
[0055] The locking screw 19 can pass through the load support 1 in a vertical direction V from the load support upper face 20. The clamping block 2 is provided in the load support 1 in a vertical direction V and can be rotated in the load support 1 into a horizontal position (as also shown in [Fig.4]) when driven by the locking screw 19.
[0056] The clamping block 2 is provided with a threaded hole 3 on the upper face of the load support 1, in order to prevent rotation of the load support 1. The clamping block 2 is provided with a threaded hole 3 in which the locking screw 19 fits when the clamping block 2 is in a horizontal position. The upper face of the load support 1 is provided with a positioning member 4 which prevents the load support 1 from rotating. The positioning member 4 is provided with a reinforcing structure 5 which prevents the positioning member 4 from being deformed.
[0057] Furthermore, the load carrier 1 is symmetrically provided with two curved connecting elements 6 in the portion located below or at the load carrier lower face 21. The two curved connecting elements 6 are located on the same periphery 22. The two curved connecting elements 6 are connected at the lower face or lower ends 23 by means of a connecting plate 7, see [Fig.4] or [Fig.5].
[0058] The upper faces or upper ends 24 of the connecting elements 6 are fixedly connected to the positioning element 4. The positioning element 4, the two curved connecting elements 6 and the connecting plate 7 surround the mounting or receiving region 25 of the clamping block 2.
[0059] The clamping block 2 is arranged in the receiving region 25 and both ends of the clamping block 2 are provided with limiting flanges 8 on different faces of the clamping block 26, in order to prevent the clamping block 2 from falling out of the receiving region 25. If the clamping block 2 is in the receiving region 25 (vertical position), both ends of the clamping block 2 are located on different faces (top and bottom), with limiting flanges 8 being provided, in order to prevent the clamping block 2 from falling out of the receiving region 25. The distance 27 between the two limiting flanges 8 (see for example [Fig. 6]) is equal to the width 28 of the curved connecting elements 6 (see for example [Fig. 4]), which ensures that the threaded holes 3 on the clamping block 2 can coincide with the locking screws 19, after the clamping block 2 has been turned in the horizontal position, so that the locking task can be carried out in a stable manner.
[0060] Furthermore, the connecting plate 7 is provided with an arcuate slot 9 which corresponds (partially) to a bottom part 29 of the clamping block 2. The bottom part 29 of the clamping block 2 is formed with an inclined guide element 10 which corresponds to the shape of the arcuate slot 9.
[0061] A clamping block support 30 can be implemented on an individual clamping block face 26, so that the clamping block 2 can rest on the connecting plate 7 of the load carrier 1 in the receiving region 25 and in a horizontal position with the aid of the clamping block support 30.
[0062] The upper face of the guide member 10 is perpendicular to the clamping block face 26, and when the clamping block 2 is horizontal, the clamping block face 26 bears against the upper face of the connecting plate 7, so that the accuracy of the clamping block 2 after its rotation can be ensured. The upper face of the guide member 10 bears against the inner wall of the curved slot 9 or against the connecting plate 7, and the threaded bore 3 in the clamping block 2 is located in the curved slot 9, so that the problem that the locking screw 19 is too long and protrudes upward out of the limiting portion is avoided.
[0063] Furthermore, the two curved connecting elements 6 are provided with positioning blocks 11 at the inner wall of the upper end 24. The clamping block 2 is provided with positioning notches 12 on each lateral side of the head part 38, which notches can cooperate with a respective positioning block 11 and can therefore ensure that the clamping block 2 does not wobble arbitrarily in the receiving region 25. The positioning blocks 11 respectively have oblique block inner faces 36 and curved block bottoms 37 on the lower face, which ensure the normal rotation of the clamping block 2 and can prevent it from being jammed.
[0064] In order to ensure that the locking screw 19 can cause the clamping block 2 to tilt when being extended, the middle or central part of the positioning element 4 is provided with a mounting hole 13 through which the locking screw 19 can be guided. The upper face of the clamping block 2 is provided with a guide bevel 15 whose shape approximately corresponds to the locking screw 19.
[0065] Furthermore, the positioning member 4 comprises a positioning body 4-1 and a circular positioning ring 4-2 on the positioning body 4-1. The positioning body 4-1 is symmetrically provided with limiting stops 4-3 on both sides. The reinforcing structure 5 is a reinforcing stop which is provided on the side wall of the positioning body 4-1 and is arranged between the limiting stops 4-3 on both sides, which not only ensures the structural strength of the limiting part but also cooperates with the limiting stops 4-3 in order to fulfill a limiting function. This not only ensures the structural strength of the limiting part, but also serves to limit the position of the limiting part in association with the limiting stop 4-3.
[0066] In addition, the clamping block 2 is provided, on the underside or in the bottom portion 29, with a weight-reducing recess 14, for example in the form of a groove, in order to prevent it from loosening from the clamping block 2 when not in operation.
[0067] Furthermore, the material of the load support 1 is a synthetic material and the material of the clamping block 2 is a metal, which not only facilitates the mounting of the clamping block 2 but also avoids the problem of corrosion of the clamping block 2, which can lead to the failure of the connection.
[0068] The locking device may be mounted or used as follows:
[0069] First, the load carrier 1 is inserted with the clamping block 2 into the mounting hole 13 for installing the toilet lid connection. Then the locking screw 19 is guided through the mounting hole 13 onto the positioning member 4, the locking screw 19 drives the clamping block 2 downwards and tilts it at the same time, until the clamping block 2 fits into the connecting plate 7, so that the locking screw 19 corresponds to the threaded hole 3 in the clamping block 2. The locking screw 19 is then turned, in order to drive the clamping block 2 upwards and thus lock the toilet lid connection.
[0070] The toilet cover connector locking device of this embodiment is provided with a load support 1. A clamping block 2 is provided inside the load support 1, and after a locking screw 19 is inserted, the clamping block 2 can automatically switch to a horizontal state, so that the locking screw 19 can cooperate with the threaded hole 3 in this state, and thus only the locking screw 19 needs to be rotated to drive the clamping block 2 upward, so as to fix the toilet cover connector on the toilet, which is more convenient to install. At the same time, the positioning member 4 is provided to prevent the load support 1 from following the rotation of the locking screw 19, and the reinforcing structure 5 is provided to ensure the structural strength of the positioning member 4 and improve its service life.
[0071] It should be emphasized that the preceding embodiments represent only a specific example of the invention and do not serve to limit the invention. List of reference signs
