Abstract

The present invention relates to isocetyl stearoyl stearate for its use in strengthening and / or preventing a decrease in the epidermal barrier function, in particular for enhancing the skin's protection against pollution. 1. Isocetyl stearoyl stearate for its use in strengthening and / or preventing a reduction in the epidermal barrier function.
