Description

Title of the invention: Pumping device Technical field of the invention

[0001] The present invention relates to a pumping device comprising a progressive cavity pump. State of the prior art

[0002] Generally, the progressive cavity pump is fixed by axial longitudinal clamping between a casing and a discharge pipe. The clamping is implemented by rods provided with threaded ends usually called "tie rods". However, when the stator is formed by a profiled metal tube, these tie rods can cause axial deformation of the stator and cause deformation of the stator pitch. Deformations of the stator pitch generate friction between the rotor and the stator and a loss of hydraulic performance of the pump. This friction can cause premature wear of the rotor or the stator.

[0003] Furthermore, the tie rods transmit the forces experienced from one end of the pump to the other end of the pump. Presentation of the invention

[0004] An object of the present invention is to provide a pumping device in which the stator would not be deformed. Summary of the invention

[0005] The present invention relates to a pumping device comprising a casing and a progressive cavity pump, the casing comprising an inner channel connected to a first opening and to a second opening, a drive shaft capable of pivoting about an axis, the progressive cavity pump comprising a stator and a rotor connected to the drive shaft; a radial plane being perpendicular to the axis; characterized in that the casing further comprises a collar, a recess arranged around the second opening and opening onto the inner channel and an inner wall of conical shape opposite the recess, and in that the stator comprises a first end comprising an outer wall of conical shape and a first flange extending in the radial plane; the outer wall of the stator bearing against the inner wall of the casing; the first flange of the stator being fixed to and in contact with the collar of the casing.

[0006] Advantageously, the cooperation between the two conical walls forms a means of centering the stator relative to the casing. Advantageously, the cooperation between the two conical walls constitutes a friction surface capable of preventing rotation of the stator relative to the casing.

[0007] Advantageously, this pumping device does not require indexing of the stator on a stop to fix the position of the stator relative to the casing (also called pump body).

[0008] Advantageously, the assembly and disassembly of the stator is simplified. When assembling the stator, the stator is fitted around the rotor which is fixed to a drive shaft. Advantageously, the cooperation between the two conical walls forms a means of centering the stator relative to the discharge pipe. Advantageously, the cooperation between the two conical walls is carried out on a friction surface capable of preventing rotation of the stator relative to the discharge pipe.
