Description

Title of the invention: Equipment for practicing physical exercises

[0001] The invention relates to equipment for practicing physical exercises by interaction with an accessory.

[0002] It applies in particular to training equipment comprising a striking target which is mounted on a ground support base.

[0003] To allow the striking target to be kept in an upright position, the base comprises angularly spaced arms, each having a free end under which a ground support foot is arranged.

[0004] To the extent that the strikes on the target can be violent and as proposed in particular by document US-7 115 051, ballast modules for each of the arms can be provided in order to form a counterweight making it possible to prevent the equipment from tipping over during training.

[0005] However, the known embodiments do not allow good transportability / good storage of the equipment to be combined with a significant improvement in its stability during practice, in particular in that the ballast modules must be easily separated from the arms for transport / storage of the equipment while being firmly held on them during practice.

[0006] The invention aims to improve the prior art by proposing in particular equipment for practicing physical exercises by interaction with an accessory whose stability during practice is improved while being able to be transported and stored in a simple and ergonomic manner.

[0007] To this end, the invention proposes equipment for practicing physical exercises by interaction with an accessory, said equipment comprising a base intended to be arranged resting on the ground and said accessory which is fixed to a central zone of said base by extending at a longitudinal distance from said zone, said base having arms each extending radially from said central zone, said arms being angularly spaced around said central zone and each having a free end under which a foot for supporting the ground is arranged, said equipment also comprising modules for weighting at least some of the arms in order to form a counterweight during interaction with the accessory, at least some of the arms having an intermediate portion located between the free end and the central zone, said intermediate portion being equipped with a mounting member, each of the ballast modules having a mounting portion whose geometry is arranged to cooperate with the geometry of the member in order to allow mounting and, reversible maintenance of said modules on respectively one of said intermediate portions.

[0008] Other features and advantages of the invention will appear in the following description, given with reference to the attached figures, in which:

[0009] [Fig-1] is a perspective view of equipment for practicing physical exercises by interaction with an accessory according to an embodiment of the invention, in which the weighting modules are shown exploded relative to the base;

[0010] [Fig.la] and

[0011] [Fig.lb] represent the equipment according to [Fig.l], respectively in perspective ([Fig.la]) and in top view ([Fig.lb]);

[0012] [Fig.2] and

[0013] [Fig. 3] are views similar to [Fig. 1a] respectively representing another embodiment according to the invention.

[0014] In relation to these figures, a piece of equipment for practicing physical exercises by interaction with an accessory 1a, 1b, 1c is described below.

[0015] The equipment comprises a base 2 intended to be placed resting on the ground, as well as an accessory 1a, 1b, 1c which is fixed to a central zone 3 of said base, extending at a longitudinal distance from said zone.

[0016] In the description, the terms of positioning in space are taken with reference to the equipment in the position of use. Thus, the term "longitudinal" refers to a direction parallel to a maximum dimension of the equipment (vertical in [Fig.l]), and the term "radial" refers to a direction perpendicular to this longitudinal direction.

[0017] In the embodiments shown, the central zone 3 of the base 2 has a plate 4 on which the accessory 1a, 1b, 1c is fixed.

[0018] Advantageously, the accessory 1a, 1b, 1c is associated in a removable manner on the plate 4, which makes it possible to reduce the size of the equipment when storing it, to replace one of the accessories 1a, 1b, 1c and / or the base 2 in the event of breakage and / or wear, or even to associate different types of accessories 1a, 1b, 1c on the same base 2, depending on the type of physical exercises that the user wishes to practice.

[0019] In particular, the equipment may be marketed in the form of a kit comprising a base 2 and at least one accessory 1a, 1b, 1c, at least one other accessory 1a, 1b, 1c may be sold within said kit or separately.

[0020] In [Fig. 3], the accessory comprises a striking target in the form of a bag 1c, the lower part of which is fixed to the plate 4, in particular in a removable manner.

[0021] In Figures 1, 1a, 1b and 2, the equipment comprises a mast 5 which extends longitudinally finally between a lower end 5a fixed to the plate 4, in particular in a removable manner, and an upper end 5b on which the accessory 1a, 1b is mounted.

[0022] To do this, the mast 5 is equipped with a discoidal plate 6 which extends radially on its lower end 5a, said plate being arranged to be fixed, for example by screwing, on a similar plate 7 formed in the upper part of the plate 4.

[0023] Similarly, the upper end 5b is equipped with means 8 to allow the attachment of an accessory 1a, 1b to the mast 5. In particular, the accessory 1a, 1b is equipped with a longitudinal lower handle 9 whose lower end is arranged to be attached in a removable manner to the upper end 5b, the means 8 of which may comprise, for example, a spring pin system of the “push-pin” type, a circumferential clamping ring, or even a threading / tapping system.

[0024] In Figures 1, 1a and 1b, the accessory comprises a punching bag 1a of the “punching bag” type, which is mounted longitudinally in the upper part of the mast 5.

[0025] In [Fig.2], the accessory comprises a striking target in the form of a bar 1b which is mounted radially in the upper part of the mast 5, said bar being further mounted in longitudinal rotation on the upper end of its handle 9 for mounting on said mast. Thus, the bar 1b can pivot around the handle 9 under the effect of an impact from the user, and thus allow said user to work on his movement and / or dodging reflexes during physical training in a combat sport of the boxing type.

[0026] The mast 5 is mounted in flexion by interaction of the user with the accessory 1a, 1b, 1c, in particular under the effect of an impact of the fist and / or the foot of said user against said accessory, said mast further having a means 10 of elastic constraint of its return in the longitudinal direction.

[0027] In the embodiments shown, the elastic constraint means comprises a helical spring 10 which extends longitudinally between an upper part 11 of the mast 5 and its lower end 5a provided with the plate 6 for fixing to the base 2.

[0028] The base 2 has arms 12 which each extend radially from the central zone 3, said arms being angularly spaced around said central zone, each having a free end 12a under which a foot 13 for supporting the ground is arranged.

[0029] In the figures, the base 2 has four arms 12 spaced angularly by 90°, and the plate 4 surmounts a junction zone of said arms.

[0030] In particular, the plate 4 comprises a lower base 14 which is fixed in the upper part of the junction zone of the arms 12, for example by screwing. This fixing can in particular be removable, for example to be able to replace the plate 4 and / or one or more arms 12 in the event of breakage.

[0031] Advantageously, two diametrically opposed arms 12 are mounted under the plate 4 so as to be able to perform a longitudinal rotation movement, for example to be able to be folded onto an adjacent arm 12, in order to reduce the size of said base when storing the equipment.

[0032] Each of the ground support feet 13 has a pad 15 surmounted by an association rod 16 under the free end 12a of the corresponding arm 12. In particular, each rod 16 is mounted under the corresponding free end 12a so as to be able to adjust the height of the pad 15 relative to said free end.

[0033] To do this, the rod 16 may comprise a threaded upper end which is engaged in a tapped orifice formed in the free end 12a of the corresponding arm 12, in order to allow the height of the pad 15 to be adjusted by screwing or unscrewing said rod in said orifice.

[0034] The rod 16 can be mounted on a free end 12a so as to allow disassembly of the foot 13 by completely unscrewing said rod from its threaded orifice, in order to allow replacement of said foot in the event of breakage and / or wear, in particular of its pad 15.

[0035] The equipment also comprises modules 17 for weighting at least some of the arms 12, in order to form a counterweight during the interaction of the user with the accessory 1a, 1b, 1c, and thus prevent said equipment from tipping over.

[0036] In the embodiments shown, the equipment comprises modules 17 to allow the ballasting of each of the arms 12, in order to guarantee optimal stability of the equipment during its use.

[0037] Each of the ballastable arms 12 has an intermediate portion 12b located between its free end 12a and the central zone 3 of the base 2, said intermediate portion being equipped with a mounting member 18, each module 17 having a mounting portion 17a whose geometry is arranged to cooperate with the geometry of the member 18, in order to allow reversible mounting and holding of said modules on respectively one of said intermediate portions.

[0038] This arrangement makes it possible to arrange the ballast of an arm 12 over the length of said arm, measured between its free end 12a and the central zone 3 of the base 2, in order to limit the footprint of said ballasted arm during use of the equipment.

[0039] In the embodiments shown, the mounting members 18 are arranged on the intermediate portions 12b so that the ballast modules 17 are mounted to bear on said intermediate portions.

[0040] In particular, the mounting members 18 can be arranged substantially in the middle of the intermediate portions 12b, so that the ballast modules 17 are mounted to rest on said intermediate portions on either side of said members.

[0041] This arrangement makes it possible to distribute the ballast of an arm 12 over a portion of its length, in order to improve the stability on the ground of said arm, and therefore of the base 2 when using the equipment.

[0042] Advantageously, each ballast module 17 has a maximum dimension which is sufficient to be able to come to bear on at least 60% of the length of the corresponding arm 12, starting from its free end 12a, in order to guarantee optimal ballast of said arm during use of the equipment.

[0043] In the figures, the mounting members 18 extend in longitudinal projection from the upper face of the intermediate portions 12b, which allows the user to easily locate them and to mount the modules 17 on the ballastable arms 12 by longitudinal engagement of their mounting portion 17a on said members, following a particularly intuitive gesture.

[0044] In the embodiments shown, the mounting members 18 are formed as protruding rods on which a housing in the form of an orifice 17a of the ballast modules 17 can engage.

[0045] As a variant, the mounting members 18 may each be formed from a longitudinal plate intended to be engaged in a longitudinal slot formed for this purpose in a ballast module 17. In particular, the upper end of each mounting plate may be curved so as to form a hook intended to bear against an upper face of a module 17 after its mounting on the corresponding arm 12, in order to improve the retention of said module on said arm.

[0046] The mounting members 18 may be formed in a single piece with the arms 12, as shown in the figures, in order to facilitate the manufacture of said arms, and thus to reduce the costs thereof.

[0047] Alternatively, the members 18 may be formed from parts separate from the arms 12, to which they may be attached, for example by screwing their lower end onto said arms. This attachment may in particular be carried out in a removable manner, in order to limit the size of the arms 12 when they are stored, but also to allow the members 18 and / or the arms 12 to be replaced in the event of breakage.

[0048] In the figures, each of the modules 17 has a cylindrical geometry, the mounting orifice 17a being formed in the central part of said geometry.

[0049] Each module 17 can be made of a compact material with a density and / or mass sufficiently high to enable it to fulfill its counterweight function.

[0050] As a variant, each module 17 may comprise an envelope which delimits an interior compartment which can be filled with a ballast material, such as for example water and / or sand, said compartment being in particular accessible via an opening formed in said envelope and reversibly concealable by a plug, in order to be able to reduce the mass of said module by evacuating said ballast material when it is not in use, and thus to facilitate its storage and / or transport.

[0051] Advantageously, the envelope constituting the module 17 can be made of a flexible material, for example textile-based, in order to allow the folding of said module when its interior compartment is empty, and thus to reduce the size of said module during its storage and / or transport.
