Description

Title of the invention: Japanese-style pumpkin pattern based on a series of puff stitches, made in crochet

[0001] The present invention relates to a Japanese-style pumpkin pattern based on a series of puffed stitches, and decorated with a stem comprising two shoots which curl up, made by crochet.

[0002] There are various crochet pumpkin patterns available, but they do not have the same features and design as this one.

[0003] Writing this model will allow other people to make it and benefit from it.

[0004] The pattern written according to the invention comprises a set of 7 rows of puff stitches, separated by 2 rows of wavelets, all on a base of 31 stitches. The pattern is crocheted in a cotton yarn for the pumpkin and a merino yarn for the stem, with a 2.5 mm crochet hook. This will allow you to have a pumpkin 8 cm high and 11 cm wide.

[0005] According to the model production pattern: - The work is carried out on a base of 31 stitches; - It has 7 lines of blown stitches separated by 2 lines of waves; - The puffed stitches are made in this way, specific to my creation: "Work 4 half double crochets in the same stitch, giving them a little height about the size of 2 chain stitches. There are 9 loops on the hook. Yarn over and pull through the first 8 loops. Then yarn over again and pull through the last 2 loops on the hook." - The final product measures 8 cm in height and 11 cm in width.

[0006] The attached photos illustrate the invention:

[0007] [Fig. 1] Represents the invention flat, before filling and shaping

[0008] [Fig.2] Represents the invention shaped and finalized

[0009] With reference to these photos, the invention comprises a first part made flat, containing the lines of puffed stitches, and which will be sewn on one side, before being filled with padding wadding to then be closed by a seam on the other side. Then threads will be passed and pulled between the 7 lines of puffed stitches in order to form the slices of the pumpkin. Finally, the stem will be made in a round from a magic circle, then sewn to the top of the pumpkin.
