Description

Title of the invention: ELECTRIC OR HYBRID MOTOR VEHICLE COMPRISING AN ON-BOARD ELECTRICAL CONTROL DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING THE ELECTRICAL STATE OF A PLURALITY OF HIGH-VOLTAGE CABLES

[0001] The invention relates to the field of electric or hybrid motor vehicles, and more particularly to the means for controlling the electrical state of these vehicles.

[0002] Known from the prior art is a patent application FR2866436 which describes a diagnostic device for relays and circuits powered by a relay. The device makes it possible to carry out measurements to detect a malfunction on the circuits equipped with electromagnetic relays of a motor vehicle. The device comprises a connector and adapters. The device comprises measuring and display devices incorporated or external to said device. The values studied are the following: voltage of the electrical energy source, power circuit supply voltage, voltage drop on the rest power contact, voltage drop on the work power contact, control voltage, control voltage drop and intensity of the power current. The device allows, by a single reading, the measurement of the rest values, the values of the active circuits of the relay not energized and the values of the active circuit of the relay energized. The reading and display of the values are simultaneous. Thus, it is possible to detect and locate the malfunction. The device also includes a circuit breaker. However, there are still drawbacks. Indeed, the device is independent of the motor vehicle. Therefore, the said device can only be used for maintenance purposes, when the vehicle is in a garage or at its owner's home. The measurements take place at a specific time, not continuously. It is therefore impossible for a user to check the electrical condition of the said vehicle continuously, at any time and in any place. In the event of a traffic accident, rescuers must be able to know the electrical condition of the vehicle before carrying out an intervention to avoid electrocution. This is impossible without the rescuers themselves bringing the said device, the installation of which takes considerable time.

[0003] The objective of the present invention is to remedy these drawbacks and, more particularly, to enable rescuers to instantly know the electrical state of a damaged vehicle.

[0004] To achieve this objective, the invention proposes an electric or hybrid motor vehicle comprising an on-board electrical control device, said vehicle comprising a battery, said vehicle comprising at least a first electrical component and a second electrical component, said vehicle comprising at least a first high-voltage cable and a second high-voltage cable, said first high-voltage cable connecting said battery to the first electrical component, said second high-voltage cable connecting said battery to the second electrical component, remarkable in that said electrical control device is capable of controlling the electrical state of said first high-voltage cable and said second high-voltage cable, said electrical control device comprising at least a first clamp and a second clamp, said first clamp and said second clamp each comprising an opening, said opening of said first clamp and said opening of said second clamp respectively enclosing the first high voltage cable and the second high voltage cable, said electrical control device comprising a display device, said electrical control device being electrically connected to said first clamp by a first electrical wire, said control device being electrically connected to said second clamp by a second electrical wire and said control device being electrically connected to the display device by a third electrical wire.

[0005] Thanks to the invention, it is possible for rescuers to quickly check whether electrical energy is still circulating in the high-voltage cables before carrying out the intervention, in particular when extricating victims of a road accident.

[0006] Advantageously, said electrical control device is an ammeter.

[0007] Advantageously, said electrical control device is a voltmeter.

[0008] Measuring the intensity or voltage of an electrical circuit is a good indicator of the electrical condition of the vehicle.

[0009] Preferably, said display device is analog or digital.

[0010] A digital or analog display is easily interpretable for a rescuer, which saves time during rescue intervention.

[0011] Preferably, said vehicle comprises a recharging hatch intended for replenishing the vehicle with electrical energy, said display device being positioned in said recharging hatch.

[0012] Thus, the display device is less likely to be damaged because the electric charging hatch of a vehicle is less likely to be impacted during a traffic accident.

[0013] Advantageously, said vehicle comprises at least one door, said display device being positioned in the door.

[0014] Advantageously, said vehicle comprises a trunk and said display device is positioned in the trunk.

[0015] In the event of a frontal impact, the door and the trunk are less likely to be damaged. Thus, positioning the display device in the door or the trunk is advantageous for reducing the risk of damage to said display device during the accident.

[0016] The invention will be further detailed by the description of a non-limiting embodiment, and on the basis of the appended figures illustrating variants of the invention, in which: - [Fig.l] schematically illustrates an on-board electrical control device of an electric or hybrid motor vehicle according to one embodiment of the invention; - [Fig.2] schematically illustrates a display device for an electrical control device embedded in a recharging hatch.

[0017] [Fig.l] schematically illustrates an electrical control device 100 on board an electric or hybrid motor vehicle 1000. The vehicle 1000 comprises a battery 2, a first electrical component 3a and a second electrical component 3b. By way of non-limiting examples, the first electrical component 3a and / or the second electrical component 3b are chosen from an electric motor, a passenger compartment heating system, on-board electronics or even headlights. To operate, said first electrical component 3a and said second electrical component 3b are supplied with electrical energy by the battery 2 via a first high-voltage cable 1a and a second high-voltage cable 1b. In [Fig.l], the first high-voltage cable 1a makes the connection between said battery 2 and the first electrical component 3a, while the second high-voltage cable 2b makes the connection between said battery 2 and the second electrical component 3b.Thus, the first electrical component 3a and the second electrical component 3b are charged with electrical energy and are capable of functioning. When a traffic accident occurs, it is necessary for rescuers to determine whether the high-voltage cables are still delivering electrical energy at the time of their intervention. More particularly, during extrication operations, that is to say when rescuers free the occupants of the damaged vehicle by cutting into said vehicle, it is imperative to know the electrical state of the vehicle. In other words, it is necessary to determine whether the electrical energy is still transmitted by the first high-voltage cable 1a and the second high-voltage cable 1b. Indeed, cutting the first high-voltage cable 1a and / or the second high-voltage cable 1b creates a high risk of electrocution for people moving around the vehicle, but also fire risks. In a first embodiment of the invention, the electrical control device 100 is an ammeter. The ammeter. is an electronic measuring instrument for measuring the intensity of an electric current in an electric circuit, expressed in amperes. In a second embodiment, the electrical control device 100 is a voltmeter. The voltmeter is an electronic measuring instrument for measuring the difference in electric potential, otherwise known as the voltage, between two points of an electric circuit. The voltage is expressed in volts. The electrical control device 100 comprises at least a first clamp 4a and a second clamp 4b. The first clamp 4a and the second clamp 4b each comprise an opening through which the first high-voltage cable 1a and the second high-voltage cable 1b pass respectively. The first clamp 4a and the second clamp 4b respectively grip the first high-voltage cable 1a and the second high-voltage cable 1b. In [Fig.l], the first clamp 4a grips the first high-voltage cable 1a and the second clamp 4b grips the second high-voltage cable 1b. The first clamp 4a is electrically connected to the electrical control device 100 by a first electrical wire 6a. The second clamp 4b is electrically connected to the control device 100 via a second electrical wire 6b. The electrical control device 100 comprises a display device 5. The display device 5 allows the continuous display of the intensity measured in the first high-voltage cable 1a and the second high-voltage cable 1b, or of the voltage according to the second embodiment. The display device 5 is electrically connected to the control device 100 by a third electrical wire 6c. Preferably, the display device 5 is analog or digital.

[0018] Advantageously, the vehicle 1000 comprises a recharging hatch 7 intended for replenishing the vehicle with electrical energy, the display device 5 being positioned in said recharging hatch 7. The recharging hatch 7 comprising said display device 5 is illustrated schematically in [Fig. 2]. The recharging hatch comprises a recharging socket 8 into which a plug of an electrical recharging cable is intended to be plugged. The display device 5 is positioned in the recharging hatch 7, next to said recharging socket 8. The hatch is capable of having a first open position in which the recharging socket 8 is accessible and a second closed position in which the recharging socket 8 is inaccessible. In [Fig. 2], the display device 5 is an analog display device comprising a needle 9 and a graduated scale 10.Needle 9 indicates, on the graduated scale 10, the current or voltage value. The recharging hatch 7 is one of the components of the vehicle 1000 that is least damaged during a traffic accident. Thus, when the rescuers arrive following the accident, the rescuers open the recharging hatch 7 to check whether electrical energy is still being transmitted via the first high cable. voltage 1a and the second high-voltage cable 1b. If the intensity, or the voltage according to the second embodiment, is not zero, then the rescuers first cut off the electrical energy transmission before intervening. If the intensity, or the voltage according to the second embodiment, is zero on said display device 5, then the rescuers are safe to begin their intervention. Alternatively, the vehicle has at least one door and said display device 5 is positioned in said at least one door. In another alternative, the vehicle has a trunk and said display device is positioned in the trunk. The display device 5 presents a lower risk of damage when it is located at said door or trunk because a majority of road traffic accidents involve a frontal impact.
