Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Overwrap for sales packaging having suspension tabs, in particular windscreen wiper packaging, and arrangement having such an overwrap State of the art
[0001] The invention relates to an overpack for sales packages, in particular windshield wiper packages. A windshield wiper package may have in particular one or more windshield wipers for a passenger vehicle or a truck.
[0002] The sales packages considered here have a suspension tab. The suspension tabs are used in particular in the retail trade for suspending the sales package from a sales shelf. For this purpose, brackets can be attached to the sales shelf, which make it possible to display the sales packages suspended. Several identical sales packages, in particular several sales packages with the same contents, can then be suspended one after the other from the bracket, so that the sales packages can be removed one after the other from the bracket. For the mode of operation and for an attractive presentation, it is advantageous that the suspension tabs are not damaged, in particular being free of creases or cracks. This concerns in particular a portion around a passage opening of the suspension tab, which serves for the bracket.Damage, for example, caused by a crease or crack, may affect its operation. The impression given by a new presentation also suffers. If applicable, a coating, writing, graphic representation or similar provided on the suspension tab may also be impaired. Statement of the invention
[0003] The invention relates to an overpack for sales packages, which have suspension tabs, in particular for windscreen wiper packages, comprising a receiving body and a lid, which serves to close the receiving body, in which in the receiving body closed by the lid a receiving space is formed, in which several sales packages can be arranged, characterized in that on a flap added to the receiving body are formed several receiving slots, which, considered over a width of the flap, are spaced from each other and in that at least a part of the flap having the receiving slots extends, for the insertion at least partly of the suspension tabs of the sales packages arranged in the receiving space, into the receiving slots in the receiving space.
[0004] The invention also relates to an arrangement comprising at least one overpack according to the invention, several sales packages having suspension tabs, in particular windscreen wiper packages, in which in the packaged state, the sales packages are arranged next to each other in the overpack and the suspension tabs of the sales packages are inserted into the receiving slots of the flap added to the receiving body.
[0005] The overpackaging and assembly according to the invention have the advantage of making possible an improved conformation and mode of operation. In this respect, damage to the suspension tabs of the sales packaging can be avoided or completely prevented, for example during transport or storage.
[0006] The concept of windshield wiper packaging is to be understood broadly. In such a sales packaging for windshield wipers, for example, one or more wiper blades may be packaged, and in the sales packaging, one or more accessories such as mounting aids may additionally be packaged. In the sales packaging, one or more windshield wipers with a caliper, which comprise a caliper and a wiper blade, may also be packaged. However, in a sales packaging, for example, only one or more wiper lips may also be packaged.
[0007] It is advantageous if the flap is added by folding to the receiving body. This can simplify the manufacture of the overpack. For example, a manufacturing step for the manufacture of the flap on the packaging body can be dispensed with.
[0008] It is advantageous if the receiving body and the flap added to the receiving body are formed at least essentially from a foldable cardboard material. This makes it possible, if necessary, to manufacture the receiving body and the flap from a single piece of cardboard.
[0009] It is advantageous if the receiving body, the flap added to the receiving body and the cover are formed at least substantially from a flat basic body folded several times, in particular from a cardboard body. This makes it possible to manufacture the receiving body, the flap and the cover in a single piece of cardboard.
[0010] It is advantageous for the receiving slots to be formed substantially on a single folding portion of the flap. In this embodiment, the receiving tabs can be introduced into the receiving slots by folding or inserting the folded portion of the flap into the receiving space. This makes it possible to pack the sales packaging in the overwrap with fewer operating steps and less preparation.
[0011] It is advantageous for the receiving slots to be formed on a first folded portion of the flap and on at least a second folded portion of the flap. This makes it possible to improve support for the suspension tabs.
[0012] It is advantageous if the receiving slots are provided on the first folded part, the second folded part and at least on a third folded part of the flap, which connects the first folded part to the second folded part and in that the third folded part is, when the lid is closed, arranged at a substantial distance from the lid. The third folded part can thus support the suspension tabs, if necessary, over at least a substantial part of their width. Furthermore, the third folded part can, if necessary, be arranged in such a way as to at least substantially prevent, in the event of a possible impact of the overpack, a shifting of one or more receiving boxes of the sales packages in the receiving space of the overpack, since the receiving boxes rest on the third folded part by their upper side at least after a slight shifting.
[0013] It is advantageous if the third folded part is, when the lid is closed, arranged at least approximately parallel to an inner face of the lid. This can further improve support for the suspension tabs. In addition, support for the boxes receiving the sales packaging can be improved.
[0014] It is advantageous if adjacent receiving slots, considered along the width of the flap, are spaced apart from each other by at least approximately the same distances. This allows sales packages to be arranged more easily next to each other, particularly with regard to their size, in the receiving space of the overpack.
[0015] It is advantageous for the receiving slots to extend at least 30%, in particular at least 50%, in particular still at least 70% of the length, considered transversely to a folding edge between the flap and the receiving body. This can provide advantageous support for the suspension tabs. In addition, an empty space inside the overpack can be reduced.
[0016] It is advantageous if a thickness of the flap is at least not as large as a width of the receiving slots. This prevents, for example, damage, such as wear on the suspension tabs, from occurring during packaging.
[0017] It is advantageous if each receiving slot serves to insert exactly one suspension tab of a sales package. This prevents the suspension tabs from rubbing against each other. In addition, the sales packages can be placed next to each other in the receiving space, as corresponds to their arrangement on, for example, a bracket of a sales device in commerce. The sales packages arranged next to each other (one behind the other) in the overpack are then arranged one behind the other on the bracket.
[0018] It is advantageous if the receiving slots are, considered according to a height of the receiving body, shaped a little higher than the suspension tabs. This prevents damage, such as bending, to the suspension tab at its upper end and at the same time enables advantageous support of the suspension tabs, while also minimising the empty space inside the overpack.
[0019] It is advantageous if the suspension tabs each have at least one through-opening, which is shaped in such a way that, for suspending the sales packaging on the suspension tab in the retail trade, a bracket of a sales device can pass through the through-opening. This makes it possible to advantageously furnish a sales shelf in the retail trade.
[0020] Depending on the embodiment, one or more of the following features and advantages may be realized.
[0021] An overmolding embodiment can be realized for sales packages having suspension tabs, by which suspension tab elements can be protected. Such elements can be through openings, in particular euro holes (euro perforations). The sales packages can have in particular suspension tabs which each have a through opening for e.g. a retail suspension bracket. Such a through opening can be shaped in particular according to a euro hole or respectively a euro perforation.
[0022] The overpack may in this respect, in a possible embodiment, have, compared to a usual embodiment, an additional flap added by folding, which keeps the sales packaging in its place in the closed overmolding packaging.
[0023] Windscreen wiper blades can be initially packaged in sales packages, which are each provided with a euro hole on their suspension tab. The passage opening of a suspension tab can also be formed instead of a euro hole by having a different geometry. Furthermore, euro holes can be produced in different variants.
[0024] Several sales packages can then be packed in the overpack. Thus, for example, five sales packages can be packed in one overpack. The sales packages can be placed next to each other in the overpack for this purpose. The arrangement next to each other in the overpack can correspond to an arrangement of the sales packages one behind the other on a bracket in the retail trade. For example, the five sales packages can then be hung in the retail trade in a simple manner on a bracket of the sales device.
[0025] A conformation of the overpack into a cardboard (cardboard material) can be made possible.
[0026] For example, during transport, the sales packages packed in the overpack may be subjected to shocks or similar forces, which are likely to move the sales packages in the overpack. Without the overpack shaped in the proposed and, if appropriate, suitable manner, such forces could, if necessary, act on the suspension tabs and, since these are of relatively low rigidity, bend the suspension tabs and, for example, bend them. Weak points on a suspension tab are found in particular around a possibly provided euro hole or the like.
[0027] Deformations such as creases in the suspension tab then reduce the stability of the suspension tab. Furthermore, creases or cracks are also undesirable from a visual point of view. In particular, a graphic representation on the suspension tab may be impaired. In the same way, a single-color print, in particular black, in particular a high-gloss print or the like may be impaired. The high-gloss print may then already be damaged by creases in that light bands appear or in that the high-gloss print comes off in places. It may also happen that a layer structure of a multi-layered thin cardboard of the sales packaging partially comes off and spreads on the suspension tab.By means of the overpack shaped in the proposed manner and, where appropriate, in a suitable manner, improved support of the sales packaging on the overpack can be achieved, the said forces preferably not being applied to the suspension tabs, but at least essentially to the flap of the overpack.
[0028] The overpack can be shaped by having a preformed flap, which holds the sales packages in the receiving space of the overpack in their location. This flap is therefore preferably a constituent of a cardboard part or the like, which also comprises the receiving body of the overpack. Preferably the flap is made up of one or more folds in a flat base body, of which the receiving body is also made. The flap can thus be made up of one or more additional folds in for example a cardboard part.
[0029] The flap can, if necessary, also be incorporated in a special way into the subsequent packaging process. In one possible embodiment, the flap can be used to glue, for example, a lid of the overpack.
[0030] A lid of the overpack can in one possible embodiment be made of one or more folds from a flat base body from which the receiving body is also made. The flat base body can be specially made in the shape of a cardboard part. The lid can thus be made of one or more additional folds.
[0031] The flap can be folded and / or plugged in or respectively inserted in a suitable manner additionally or alternatively also in the packaging process. For example, the flap can be fully or partially plugged in or inserted into the receiving space of the receiving body. This means that no additional packaging aids, such as packaging foam elements or a cardboard element, are required.
[0032] The flap may be suitably preformed. The flap may hold a plurality of suspension tabs in their respective locations. In this respect, the flap may be shaped in various ways. In particular, the flap may have one or more folds so that it may have, if necessary, a plurality of folded portions.
[0033] The flap of the overpack may be provided, to take into account a vertical orientation given in advance possibly of the overpack, in which the sales packages are oriented as in a sales direction, preferably being at the top in the overpack.

[0048] [Fig. 1] shows an arrangement 1 having an overpack 2 and several sales packages 3 in a schematic perspective representation according to an exemplary embodiment. Several sales packages 3 arranged next to each other (one behind the other) are shown on the left side of [Fig. 1]. The overpack 2 serves to receive the sales packages 3 thus arranged. On the right side of [Fig. 1] is shown the arrangement with the overpack 2 and the sales packages 3, the sales packages 3 shown on the left side being inserted according to the arrow into the overpack 2.
[0049] The overpack 1 is used for sales packages 3 having suspension tabs 4, in particular sales packages 3 of this type can be made up of windshield wiper packages 3.
[0050] [Fig. 2] represents a detail of the overpack 2 shown in [Fig. 1] in a schematic perspective view in accordance with the exemplary embodiment. [Fig. 3] represents the detail shown in [Fig. 2] of the overpack 2 having the sales packages 3 arranged next to each other in the overpack in another view direction in a schematic perspective representation in accordance with the exemplary embodiment.
[0051] The overpack 2 has a receiving body 5 and a cover 6. The cover 6 is used to close the receiving body 5. In this embodiment, the cover is added to the receiving body 5 of the overpack. In this embodiment, the cover 6 is added by folding to the receiving body 5. However, in an alternative embodiment, the cover 6 can also be separated from the receiving body 5 and, for example, be placed on the receiving body 5, in particular by being inserted therein.
[0052] In the packaged state, the receiving body 5 is then closed by the cover 6. This is illustrated in [Fig. 5]. A receiving space 7 is formed in the receiving body 5. The receiving space 7 has a conformation such that several sales packages 3 can be arranged therein. The sales packages 3 can be arranged next to each other. of others in the reception area 7. This results in a use of the reception area 7 which saves space.
[0053] The overpack 2 has a flap 8. The flap 8 is added to the receiving body 5. In this exemplary embodiment, the flap 8 is added by folding to the receiving body 5.
[0054] The flap 8 may have recesses 9, 10 at its lateral ends, which may facilitate insertion of the flap 8 into the receiving body 5.
[0055] [Fig. 4] shows the detail shown in [Fig. 3] of the overpack 2, with the flap 8 of the overpack 2 being inserted. Furthermore, [Fig. 5] shows the detail shown in [Fig. 4] of the overpack in an elevational view in which, to illustrate the arrangement while the overpack 2 is closed, the overpack 2 is shown open in the viewing direction designated by V.
[0056] Several receiving slots 11, 12, 13, 14 are formed on the flap 8 added to the receiving body 5. The receiving slots 11, 12, 13, 14 are, considered along the width 15 of the flap 8, spaced apart from each other. In this embodiment, neighboring receiving slots 11, 12, 13, 14 are, considered along the width 15 of the flap 8, spaced apart from each other by approximately at least the same distance 16.
[0057] The receiving slots 11, 12, 13, 14 preferably extend at least over at least 30%, in particular over at least 50%, more particularly over at least 70% of the length 18 of the flap 8, considered relative to a folding edge 17 between the flap 8 and the receiving body 5.
[0058] Furthermore, a thickness D ([Fig.9]) of the flap 8 is preferably at least not greater than a width 19 (figures 9 and 10) of the receiving slots 11, 12, 13, 14.
[0059] In this embodiment, a part 20 of the flap 8, on which the receiving slots 11, 12, 13, 14 are shaped to be through, serves for the insertion at least in part of the tabs 4 for suspending the sales packages 3 arranged in the receiving space 7. The part 20 of the flap 8 extends for this purpose into the receiving space 7, when the overpack 2 is closed. In this embodiment, each receiving slot 11, 12, 13, 14 serves for the insertion of exactly one tab 4 for suspending one of the sales packages 3.
[0060] In a preferred embodiment, the receiving body 5 and the flap 8 added to the receiving body 5 are shaped at least substantially from a foldable cardboard 25 as material. A sheet, a coating or the like can be deposited on this cardboard 25, for example.
[0061] In this exemplary embodiment, the receiving body 5, the flap 8 added to the receiving body 5 and the cover 6 are at least substantially made of a cardboard 25. The cardboard 25 may be made in the form of a cardboard body 26, which is an exemplary embodiment for a flat basic body 26 folded several times. The receiving body, the shutter 8 and cover 6 can thus be made of one piece, namely the body 26 made of cardboard.
[0062] A tab 4 for suspending a sales package 3 can thus be inserted and held in the recess 10 of the flap 8.
[0063] [Fig. 6] shows an excerpt representation of a sales package 3 having a suspension tab 4, a possible damage 27 being illustrated for the purpose of illustrating the invention. [Fig. 7] further shows an overview of preferred embodiments of openings 40 for the passage of a suspension tab 4 of a sales package 3.
[0064] In particular, in the part of the passage opening 40, damage 27 of the suspension tab 4 may occur. Such damage 27 may be in the form of a crease in the suspension tab 4, removal of a coating or printing from the suspension tab 4, detachment of a laminated structure of a cardboard from the suspension tab 4 or the like. Damage 27 of this kind is possible during transport in a conventional overpack if, for example, due to an impact, a sales package is moved in the overpack, so that a crease of the suspension tab 4 occurs. Damage 27 of this kind can be avoided or even completely prevented by the overpack 2 proposed and suitable if necessary.
[0065] [Fig. 8] shows a sales device 42 having a bracket 41, on which several sales packages 3 are suspended one behind the other, according to a schematic representation. The suspension tabs 4 of the sales packages 3 each have a passage opening 40. The passage openings 40 are shaped in such a way that for the suspension of the sales package 3 on the suspension tab 4 in the retail trade, the bracket 41 of the sales device 42 can be passed through the passage opening 40.
[0066] [Fig.9] shows in detail the overpack 2 according to a representation in schematic perspective according to an alternative embodiment. The receiving slots 11, 12, 13, 14 are at least substantially shaped on a single folded part 20 of the flap 8. In the embodiments shown in Figures 2 and 3, the receiving slots 11, 12, 13, 14 are also shaped at least substantially on the folded part 20 of the flap 8. However, they also extend a little into a second folded part 21 of the flap 8.
[0067] In another possible variant, the receiving slots 11, 12, 13, 14 are formed on a first folded part 20 of the flap 8 and on at least one second folded part 21 of the flap 8. This is possible in particular in an embodiment in which a third folded part 22 is provided, as is also illustrated in FIGS. 10 and 11.
[0068] [Fig. 10] shows a detail of an overpack 2 according to another embodiment example according to a schematic perspective representation before a flap 8 is inserted, the flap 8 having several folds 28, 29. [Fig. 11] further shows the detail shown in [Fig. 10] to illustrate the embodiment of the flap 8 in the inserted state according to a simplified schematic representation.
[0069] The receiving slots 11, 12, 13, 14 are provided on the first folded part 20, the second folded part 21 and on the third folded part 22 of the flap 8. The third folded part 22 connects for this purpose the first folded part 20 to the second folded part 21. When the cover 6 is closed, as shown in [Fig. 11], the third folded part 22 is substantially at a distance 30 from the cover 6. This makes it possible to provide particularly stable support for the receiving tabs 4.
[0070] Furthermore, the third folded part 22 is, when the cover 6 is closed, arranged at least approximately parallel to an inner face 31 (Figures 1 and 5) of the cover 6. This embodiment can be implemented in such a way as to make it possible for boxes 45 for receiving the sales packages 3 to rest on the third folded part 22 during transport or storage or the like. This also prevents the boxes 45 for receiving the sales packages from moving in the overpack 2 during an impact during transport or the like. This effectively prevents at least essentially folding or the like of the tabs 4 for receiving the sales packages 3.
[0071] It is thus possible to produce an arrangement 1 having an overpack 2 and several sales packages 3 with receiving tabs 4, in particular windshield wiper packages, in which in the packed state, the sales packages 3 are arranged next to each other in the overpack 2 and the suspension tabs 4 of the sales packages 3 are inserted into the receiving slots 11, 12, 13, 14 of the flap 8 added to the receiving body 5. In addition, the receiving slots 11, 12, 13, 14 are, considered along a height H ([Fig.l]) of the receiving body 5, higher than the suspension tabs 4. This makes it possible to advantageously support the receiving tabs 4 and / or advantageously support impact forces during transport or similar forces.
[0072] The invention is not limited to the embodiments described.
