Abstract

Airbag mechanism assembly combining a flap and its hinge with at least a portion of the channel orifice frame. The invention relates to an assembly comprising a flap (1) and at least one portion of the frame (2) of the airbag channel orifice (3) connected together by a joining hinge (4), characterized in that, in a closed position of the flap (1), the upper surface (41) of the hinge (4) is positioned above the upper surface (21) of the portion of the frame (2) of the airbag channel orifice (3) close to its junction (24) with the hinge (4), so that the frame (2) which surrounds the orifice of the airbag channel (3) and the hinge (4) associated with the flap (1) are positioned at different levels of a virtual axis arranged substantially perpendicular to the plane of the surface of the flap (1) and / or of the hinge (4) in the closed position and / or of the peripheral surface to the orifice of the airbag channel (3).
