Abstract

The present invention relates to a rotary wing (7) aircraft (1) provided with a tail boom (10) carrying a stabilizer (15). The aircraft (1) comprises a pitch stabilization system (25) which is provided with at least one pitch stabilizer comprising a first aerodynamic section (40) and a second aerodynamic section (50). The first aerodynamic section (40) extends from the tail boom (10) from a first root section (41) to a first end section (42) and the second aerodynamic section (50) extends from the stabilizer (15) from a second root section (51) to a second end section (52), the first end section (42) being connected directly to the second end section (52) or via a connecting section (60).
