Abstract
FUEL CELL ASSEMBLY FOR AIRCRAFT PROPULSION SYSTEM The invention provides an assembly (100) for an aircraft propulsion system (50) having a channel (52) in which an airflow (10) passes. The assembly (100) is disposed in the airflow (10) and comprises a compressor (102), a turbine (104) downstream of the compressor (102), a secondary shaft (106) having a secondary longitudinal axis (x) and fixed between the compressor (102) and the turbine (104), and at least two fuel cells (108a-b) between the compressor (102) and the turbine (104), one behind the other along the secondary longitudinal axis (x) in the airflow (10) and where each fuel cell (108a-b) is supplied with dihydrogen. With this arrangement, the oxygen is heated as it passes through the fuel cells (108a-b) before reaching the turbine (104). Fig. 2
