[0013] The following is a brief description of one embodiment of the invention, by way of illustrative and non-limiting example.

[0014] The embodiment illustrated in [Fig. 1] comprises a cover (1) made of fabric or other flexible material, which contains foam padding (2). The padding may be natural or composed of artificial fibers.

[0015] Since the cover (1) and the padding (2) are made of flexible materials, the headboard can be rolled up, making it easier to store and transport. Furthermore, the materials are lightweight.
