Folding shopping bag comprising: - a first panel (1PA) and a second panel (2PA) whose side sides and bottom are connected by gussets to be folded flat, panel against panel, and where appropriate, to be folded again, the bag having in the unfolded state a parallelepiped volume shape, bag characterized in that - at least one (1PA) of the panels (1PA, 2PA) is lined with an auxiliary panel (PAX), * connected to the side edges (1APL) of this lined panel (1PA), - an auxiliary gusset (SFX) connecting the bottom edge (1AF) of the associated lined panel (1PA), to the auxiliary bottom edge (AFX) of the auxiliary panel (PAX), and - a bottom gusset (SFF) connecting this auxiliary bottom edge (AFX) to the bottom edge (2AF) of the other panel (2AP).
