Description

Title of the invention: Removable gripping device and kitchen set comprising such a removable gripping device

[0001] The present invention relates to a removable gripping device and a kitchen set comprising such a removable gripping device.

[0002] EP2519132B1 is known to use removable gripping devices comprising a gripping body and a fork movable relative to the gripping body. The fork and the gripping body together form a gripper. The fork is movable between an open position and a closed position in which the gripper is able to grasp an edge of a kitchen item. These removable gripping devices, which are generally satisfactory, are also provided with a groove suitable for receiving a free edge of the kitchen item as a stop.

[0003] However, contact between the groove and the free edge, the most fragile part of the cookware, risks chipping and damaging the free edge. Damage to the free edge reduces the durability of the cookware and compromises user safety.

[0004] The aim of the invention is therefore to provide a removable gripping device to prevent damage to the kitchen item.

[0005] To this end, the invention relates to a removable gripping device, a removable gripping device for a cooking article having a side wall that is extended upwards by a curved portion, comprising:

[0006] - a gripping body extending along a longitudinal axis between a front of the body and the rear of the body

[0007] - a groove adapted to receive as a stop a free edge of the curved portion, and

[0008] - a fork mounted on the gripping body, forming a clamp with the front of the gripping body and being mobile relative to the gripping body, between an open position and a closed position in which the gripper is able to pinch the lateral wall.

[0009] The removable gripping device includes at least one pad made of elastically deformable material delimiting the groove.

[0010] Thanks to the invention, and in particular thanks to the pad made of elastically deformable material, the free edge, in contact with a deformable material, is protected. Furthermore, the elastically deformable material of the pad absorbs, as it deforms, the stresses generated at the free edge between the gripping device and the kitchen item by the weight of the kitchen item and its contents.

[0011] According to other advantageous aspects of the invention, the removable gripping device comprises one or more of the following features, taken individually or in any technically possible combination:

[0012] - the front of the body includes a housing in which the material pad is housed elastically deformable,

[0013] - the pad is made by injecting material into the housing,

[0014] - the pad does not extend beyond the groove,

[0015] - when the kitchen item is gripped by the removable gripping device, The kitchen item is in contact with the grip body and the groove only in localized areas, a first and second localized area being formed within the groove and in contact with the pad, and a third localized area being formed outside the groove.

[0016] - the deformable material pad does not cover the third localized zone,

[0017] - two skates distinctly form the first and second localized zones,

[0018] - the skate is fixed to the front of the body by a mechanical fastening element,

[0019] - the pad is made of silicone material, and

[0020] - the fork is movable in translation relative to the gripping body, according to a direction approximately parallel to the longitudinal axis.

[0021] The invention also relates to a kitchen set comprising at least one cooking item and a removable gripping device as defined above.

[0022] The invention will become clearer upon reading the following description, given solely by way of non-limiting example, and made with reference to the drawings in which:

[0023] [Fig-1] [Fig.1] is a perspective view of a kitchen set comprising a culinary article and a removable gripping device according to a first embodiment;

[0024] [Fig.2] [Fig.2] is a larger-scale view in frame II of the device removable grip of the [Fig.l];

[0025] [Fig.3] [Fig.3] is a perspective section along plane III of the device removable grip of the [Fig.2];

[0026] [Fig.4] [Fig.4] is a section along plane IV of the removable gripping device of the [Fig.l];

[0027] [Fig. 5] [Fig. 5] is a perspective section similar to [Fig. 3], of a device removable gripping device according to a second embodiment; and

[0028] [Fig. 6] [Fig. 6] is a perspective section similar to [Fig. 3], of a device removable gripping according to a third embodiment.

[0029] A kitchen set 2 according to an embodiment of the invention is shown in [Fig.1].

[0030] The kitchen set 2 includes a cooking item 4 and a removable gripping device 6 according to a first embodiment.

[0031] The cooking article 4 comprises a base 42, a rim 44, and a curved portion 46, which forms the upper end of the rim 44, opposite the base 42. The base 42 is circular and flat. The rim 44 extends from the base 42 to define an interior volume V4 for holding food. The curved portion 46 curves outward from the cooking article 4 and extends from the rim 44. One end of the curved portion 46 is delimited by a free edge 48.

[0032] The removable gripping device 6 includes a gripping body 62, a fork 64 and means for moving the fork 64.

[0033] The gripping body 62 extends, along a longitudinal axis X6 of the removable gripping device 6, between a front 622 of the body and a rear 624 of the body. The front of the body, or any part mounted on it, faces the cooking article when the gripping device is mounted on such an article. Under the same conditions, the rear of the body, or any part mounted on it, faces away from the cooking article.

[0034] Advantageously, as clearly seen in [Fig.4], the front 622 of the body includes a housing 626.

[0035] The fork 64 extends, along the longitudinal axis X6, between a front end 642 and a rear end, not shown.

[0036] The front end 642 is curved and extends with a component perpendicular to the longitudinal axis X6.

[0037] The fork 64 is mounted on the gripping body 62 so that the front 622 of the body and the front end 642 of the fork 64 together form a clamp 66 capable of pinching the rim 44.

[0038] The fork 64 is advantageously movable in translation relative to the gripping body 62 along a direction D64, directed from the front 622 of the body towards the rear 624 of the body 62, substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis X6. The fork 64 is movable between an open position and a closed position in which the clamp 66 is able to clamp the edge 44 of the cooking article 4.

[0039] The removable gripping device 6 also has a groove 94. The groove is suitable for receiving the free edge 48 as a stop.

[0040] The removable gripping device 6 also includes a pad 96 made of elastically deformable material, defining the groove 94 on the side of the gripping body 62.

[0041] Advantageously, the skate 96 is housed in the housing 626 of the front 622 of the body.

[0042] Advantageously, the pad 96 is made by injecting material into the housing 626.

[0043] Advantageously, the pad 96 is made of silicone material which has high thermal resistance, that is to say, it can withstand a temperature above 100°C.

[0044] Advantageously, the skate 96 is fixed to the front 622 of the body by at least one mechanical fastening element 98 and preferably two mechanical fastening elements 98 arranged symmetrically on either side of the longitudinal axis X6. In the example, the mechanical fastening element 98 is a reversible nail, as shown in [Fig. 4]. More specifically, the reversible nail has a pointed head at each end so that it can be used regardless of orientation.

[0045] Advantageously, when the kitchen item 4 is gripped by the removable gripping device 6, the kitchen item is in contact with the gripping body 62 and the groove 94 only in a first localized area Z1, a second localized area Z2 and a third localized area Z3.

[0046] The first localized zone Z and the second localized zone Z2 are formed in the groove 94. The kitchen item is therefore in contact, at the level of the first localized zone Z and the second localized zone Z2, with the pad 96. The free edge 48 is thus in contact with an elastically deformable material and is protected against the risk of damage by direct contact with the gripping body 62.

[0047] As can be seen in [Fig. 4], the third localized zone Z3 is formed outside the groove 94. Advantageously, the pad 96 does not cover the third localized zone Z3. In other words, the pad 64 can extend beyond the groove 64, but the third localized zone Z3 is formed on the front 622 of the body and is not covered by the pad 96. The absence of deformable material on the third localized zone Z3 ensures the safety of the mechanism.

[0048] Under significant stress generated by the weight of the cooking utensil 4 and its contents, the pad 96 deforms, causing the curved portion 46 to bear against a fourth and fifth non-deformable localized zone Z4 and Z5 of the gripping body 62, visible in [Fig. 3], located on either side of the pad 96 and formed in the groove 94, and increasing the bearing force on the third, also non-deformable, localized zone Z3. The non-deformability of the third, fourth, and fifth zones Z3, Z4, and Z5 prevents the cooking utensil 4 from slipping, in other words, prevents the cooking utensil 4 from sliding out of the gripper 66.

[0049] Removable gripping devices 106, according to a second embodiment, and 206, according to a third embodiment, are shown in Figures 5 and 6, respectively. For these two devices, the reference numerals of the removable gripping device 106 or 206 correspond to those of the removable gripping device 6, when the referenced element is the same. The reference numerals are increased by 100 compared to those of the first embodiment, when they denote modified elements in the removable gripping device 106 and increased by 200 when they denote modified elements in the removable gripping device 206.

[0050] If an element is referenced on one of Figures 5 and 6 without being mentioned in the description, it corresponds to the element bearing the same reference in the first embodiment.

[0051] The removable gripping device 106 is identical to the removable gripping device 6 of the first embodiment, except for the characteristics described below.

[0052] The pad 196 does not extend beyond the groove 94. In other words, the pad 196 does not protrude outside the groove 94.

[0053] The removable gripping device 206 is identical to the removable gripping device 6 of the first embodiment, except for the characteristics described below.

[0054] The removable gripping device 206 comprises two pads 2961 and 2962. The pads 2961 and 2962 distinctly form, respectively, the first localized zone Z1 and the second localized zone Z2. In other words, the pad 2961, respectively the pad 2962, does not cover any area other than the localized zone Z1, respectively the localized zone Z2.

[0055] Any feature described above for one embodiment or variant is applicable to the other embodiments and variants described above, insofar as this is technically possible.
