Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Corrective glasses with switchable frames
[0001] The present invention relates to stylized corrective glasses devices allowing the user to change the style of glasses without changing the frame.
[0002] The present invention aims to provide a corrective eyeglass device allowing a quick and practical change of the style of corrective eyeglasses, depending on the conditions of use and occasions.
[0003] The known devices such as those in documents WO2018205750, CN203773181U and US20150168745 are only decorative festive accessories and not corrective glasses onto which decorative ornaments are adapted in a removable and very practical way.
[0004] The invention aims to provide a device capable of combining the advantages of speed, simplicity and reliability for its implementation, and this for many variations of eyeglass styles.
[0005] In view of the foregoing, the invention relates to a corrective eyeglass device comprising two corrective lenses and a frame having two temples and a frame, said frame being formed of two annular structures holding said corrective lenses on the frame and joined by a central bar of the device, said device being such that it further comprises first magnetic elements integrated into the frame, a removable fitting, and a removable retaining means comprising second magnetic elements fully integrated into said removable retaining means, said removable retaining means being adapted to magnetically retain said fitting on the frame in a removable manner thanks to the first and second complementary magnetic elements cooperating mutually.
[0006] Preferably, the removable retaining means have an annular shape.
[0007] For example, the annular shape is the same for removable retaining means and annular structures so as to be superimposed.
[0008] Advantageously, the device further comprises a solar bar joining the two annular structures and mounted on the mount between the two annular structures.
[0009] According to one embodiment, the solar bar is mounted in a retractable manner on the mount on fixings between the two annular structures.
[0010] In one embodiment, the solar bar is mounted in a retractable manner on the mount by means of fasteners which include magnetic means.
[0011] Advantageously, the solar bar is mounted in a retractable manner on the mount by means of fixings which include mechanical means.
[0012] The device may further provide that the mechanical means enabling the solar bar to be mounted in a retractable manner on the mount include a hinged system.
[0013] Preferably, the bar has beads that move in translation along said bar.
[0014] The invention also relates to a device in which the set comprises colored or smoked lenses held by removable holding means in front of the corrective lenses.
[0015] The invention will be better understood upon a detailed study of some embodiments taken by way of non-limiting examples and illustrated by the accompanying drawings, in which:
[0016] [Fig-1] represents a device according to the invention, in a first mode of Implementation, exploded view.
[0017] [Fig.2] represents the device according to a second embodiment in view of perspective.
[0018] [Fig.3] represents the device according to a third embodiment in front view.
[0019] [Fig.4] represents the device according to the third embodiment in lateral view.
[0020] [Fig. 5] represents the hinged system of the bar fixings of the first mode of realization.
[0021] Fig. 1 illustrates the device of the invention, which relates to a corrective glasses device comprising two corrective lenses 11 and a frame 2 having two arms 3 and a frame.
[0022] The branches 3 are for example mounted on lateral pivots 14 of the frame.
[0023] The frame is formed of two annular structures 4 holding said corrective lenses 11 on the frame 2 and joined by a central bar 10 of the device 1.
[0024] The two annular structures 4 form two openings 8 into which said corrective lenses 11 are inserted.
[0025] Frame 2 is for example a standard pair of glasses that the user would buy either with prescription lenses or without lenses 11 according to his needs.
[0026] The device 1 further comprises first magnetic elements integrated into the mount 2.
[0027] Device 1 further includes a removable set 12.20.
[0028] The basic glasses will therefore always be visible behind the added ornament on top.
[0029] As illustrated by [Fig.2], the set 12.20 may consist of one or more linked or unlinked elements, intended to be placed in front of the lenses 11 and on the frame 2 to dress and decorate it.
[0030] The set 12,20 can therefore consist of one or more pieces connected or not by a central bar 21.
[0031] Having separate lens-forming parts allows for the creation of asymmetrical designs.
[0032] Having the central bar 10 forming the nasal bridge and the solar bar 6 on the frame also gives it a certain solidity, making it less likely to break.
[0033] The device 1 further comprises a removable retaining means 13 comprising second magnetic elements fully integrated into said removable retaining means 13.
[0034] The removable retaining means 13 are adapted to magnetically retain said set 12,20 on the frame 2 in a removable manner thanks to the first and second complementary magnetic elements cooperating mutually.
[0035] The removable retaining means 13 are for example such that the base frame includes micro-magnets for example made of neodymium, allowing the solar bar 6 and the set to be connected separately.
[0036] The solar bars are indeed a small component which can easily be lost if it is not attached.
[0037] Small, powerful magnets are incorporated, for example, into the base mount, the fronts and the bars, which allows them all to be interchanged.
[0038] If the user wears only the basic glasses or without a sun bar, the protrusions with the magnets can be made invisible by integrating them into the design so that the product's identity becomes an additional feature.
[0039] Alternatively, there could be magnets in the nasal bridge rather than around the lenses 11.
[0040] The removable retaining means 13, when magnetic, comprise for example a magnetic metal, in particular containing iron, or a metal plate is intercalated between the acetate layers to magnetize the frame and the removable retaining means 13.
[0041] Preferably, the removable retaining means 13 have an annular shape, that is to say a shape returning on itself, such as a circle, but whose section is continuous and not necessarily circular: the shape can be that of a closed ring of more or less rounded shape and with or without edge.
[0042] The annular shape can preferably be the same for the removable retaining means 13 and the annular structures 4 so as to be superimposed, which avoids obstructing visibility.
[0043] Advantageously, a solar bar 6 is provided which joins the two annular structures 4 and which is mounted on the mount 2 between the two annular structures 4.
[0044] This bar 6 is optional, and for example absent in the second embodiment illustrated by [Fig.2].
[0045] In the first embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 and 5, there is a solar bar 6 and this is held by its two ends 5 in fasteners 8 which clamp it.
[0046] Bar 6 adds a stylistic element to the glasses and hides the sun for the user.
[0047] According to one embodiment, the solar bar 6 is retractably mounted on the mount 2 on fixings 8 between the two annular structures 4.
[0048] In one embodiment, the solar bar 6 is mounted in a retractable manner on the mount 2 by the fixings 8 which include magnetic means as in the third embodiment illustrated by Figures 3 and 4, illustrating the device 1 with and without accessories and bar 6.
[0049] Thus, advantageously, the solar bar 6 is mounted in a retractable manner on the mount 2 by means of the fixings 8 which include mechanical means, as in the first embodiment.
[0050] Device 1 may further provide that the mechanical means 8 enabling the solar bar 6 to be mounted in a retractable manner on the mount 2 include a hinge system 16,17 as illustrated by [Fig.5].
[0051] This hinged system 16,17 includes a lower hinge 16 fixed on the annular structures 4 and an upper hinge 16 rotating to clamp the bar 6 when it is inserted between the two hinges 16,17.
[0052] A clasp can thus be formed to fix the solar bar 6 to the mount in a removable manner.
[0053] Preferably, the bar 6 has beads 15 that are movable in translation along said bar 6.
[0054] These beads 15 make it possible to balance the device 1 in its weight between the left ear and the right ear of the wearer, while also being decorative.
[0055] Beads, charms or sleeves can thus be threaded onto the solar bar 6, or removed from it, and personalized designs can thus be made.
[0056] The invention also relates to a device in which the set 12,20 comprises colored or smoked lenses 11 held by removable retaining means 13 in front of the corrective lenses 8 as illustrated by Figures 1, 2 and 4.
[0057] The removable retaining means 13 then make it possible to temporarily obtain stylized lenses on a frame which only has unstylized corrective lenses 11 or no lenses, to bring a different style to the frame, or to add a blue light filtering effect or protection of the eyes against ultraviolet sun.
[0058] The device 1 may further include sleeves 7, which are for example classically silicone sleeves, and these could slide on the temples of the glasses, thus adding further personalization to the product.
[0059] The device 1 may also conventionally include plates 9 which provide stable support on the wearer's nose, which may be attached or molded onto the frame.
