Abstract

The invention relates to a method for coloring keratin fibers, preferably human, more preferably hair, comprising applying to the keratin fibers, preferably human, more preferably hair, a composition (A) comprising at least one dye, preferably chosen from oxidation dyes, direct dyes, their mixtures and their reaction products, rinsing the keratin fibers, preferably human, more preferably hair, and treating the solution from the rinse with at least one alkaline agent.The invention also relates to a method for treating water comprising at least one dye, preferably chosen from oxidation dyes, direct dyes, mixtures thereof and reaction products, in which this water is brought into contact with at least one alkaline agent.
