[0071] DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENT METHODS

[0072] Figure 1 is an isometric view of a modular espagnolette 100, according to the invention, comprising an operating rod 1 with a longitudinal groove generally located on the "rear" side, facing the shutter when the espagnolette 100 is in the closed position. The rod 1 terminates at its ends in two modular end pieces 2 fitted onto the ends of the rod and rotationally fixed to it by their rib 323 which fits into the groove 11 of the rod. 1. Modular espagnolette (100) for fitting shutters of a window opening, to lock their closed position against the front of a stop (upper or lower) integral with the window opening, comprising: - an operating rod (1) fitted with a handle (4) and carried by one of the shutters, the handle (4) being engaged in the closed position in a support (5) integral with the other shutter, - the end caps (2) integral with the two ends of the operating rod (1) bearing against the back of the stops, receiving the shutters in the closed position, the espagnolette characterized in that it comprises: - a modular body (3) having a head (31) whose passage (30) is traversed by the operating rod (1) and an extension (36) with a pivot (32) of transverse axis (uu) carrying a modular handle (4) for turning the operating rod (1) between the open and closed positions. the espagnolette, around the axis (ZZ),of the rod (1) - the modular handle (4) pivoting around its pivot (32) to engage or disengage from a modular support (5), the modular body (3) or the modular handle (4) or the modular end caps (2) are profile segments, with axis parallel to the axis (ZZ) of the operating rod (1).

Modular espagnolette (100) according to claim 1, characterized in that the rod (1) has a groove (11) and the profile of the modular body (3) has a section (303) comprising *a cylindrical part (3031) forming a passage (30) with a smooth rotation surface which would correspond to the groove (11) of the rod (1) and *an extension forming at least one branch (361) carrying the pivot (32) of the handle (4).

Modular espagnolette (100) according to claim 2, characterized in that - the extension (36) of the modular body (3) has two branches (361, 362) whose facing, parallel faces form a gap (363) for guiding and holding the modular handle (4) and - one of the arms (361) has a pivot (32) formed by the circular cylindrical head (321) of a screw whose threaded shank (322) is screwed into the inner face of one (361) of the arms and defines the axis (uu) of the modular handle (4), - the other arm (362) has a window (3621) for access to the head of the screw (321), - the modular handle (4) having a side (41) whose end comes into the gap (363) with a hole (411) of diameter corresponding to that of the head of the screw (321) to pivot around it with the modular handle (4).

4. Modular espagnolette (100) according to claim 3, characterized in that the outer face of the arm (361) with the pivot (32) on its inner face, is recessed to receive in support and guidance the other side (42) of the modular handle (4).

Modular espagnolette (100) according to claim 3, characterized in that the modular handle (4) is a profile segment having: - two sides (41, 42) connected by a crossbar (43) set back from the end of the two sides, * the end of one side (41) beyond the crossbar (43) has a hole (411) engaged on the pivot (32) and coming into the gap (363) * the other side (42) comes against the other face of the arm (361) carrying the pivot (32), - a gripping element (45) connecting the other end of the sides (41, 42) forming a relief (451) turned towards the plane (102) of the shutters (VI, V2) and arriving substantially in this plane when the handle (4b) is engaged in the modular support (5).

Modular espagnolette (100) according to claim 1, characterized in that the modular end piece (2) is a profile segment whose section (302) has a cylindrical part (3021) to form a sleeve (21) and an extension (3022) with a straight side (221) to form a finger (22) and its bearing surface (221), * a screw hole (211) being machined in the sleeve (21) opening into a rib (3323) to lock with a screw, the end piece at the end of the rod (1).

Modular espagnolette (100) according to claim 1, characterized in that the support (5) is a profile segment with a cross-section (305) in the shape H constituting an H-shaped skeleton (50), one branch (511) of which is the application branch for fixing to the shutter (V2) and the other branch (512) forms a tooth defining, with the first branch (511), the open interval (513) of the fork formed by the support (5), * this second side (512) extending to form a grip (541) under the crossbar (513) connecting the two branches, the interval (53) between the two branches receiving the handle (4), and - the skeleton (50) receiving a glove covering the end of the two branches (511, 512).

Modular espagnolette (100) according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the modular body (3) has a head (31) free in translation and rotation relative to the operating rod (1) passing through its passage (30), which is connected to the rod (1) by a wedge (33) freely interposed between the surface of the passage (30) and the surface of the operating rod (1) to allow adjustment of the head and to be forcibly engaged between the surface of the passage (30) and that of the operating rod (1) and to lock the head (31) on the rod (1) in the adjusted position of the body (3) carrying the handle (4) and comprising - a tapping in the passage (30), - a threaded sleeve (34) through which the operating rod (1) is screwed into the thread of the head (31) to forcefully engage the wedge (33) in the gap between the passage (30) and the rod (1) and to secure the body (3) in rotation and translation on the operating rod (1).

Modular espagnolette (100) according to claim 8, characterized in that the wedge (33) has an axial rib of complementary shape to the section of the groove (11) of the rod (1) and raised from its surface coming against the operating rod (1) to engage in its groove (11) and to be rotationally fixed to the operating rod (1).

10. Modular espagnolette (100) according to any one of claims 8 to 9, characterized in that the passage (30) of the head (31) has, in order along the axis (ZZ):
