Title of the invention: Helmet with nose bridge protection BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Technical field

[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of helmets, and in particular a helmet with protection of the nasal bridge. 2. Description of related art

[0002] During outdoor sports, the majority of athletes use a helmet to ensure their safety and reduce impacts to the head. In certain sports, when an athlete has an accident, not only do they fall and slide, but they are also likely to roll over, while the helmet, constantly moving, is likely to shift forward and slide down the head, easily bringing it into contact with the bridge of the athlete's nose and causing injury. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0003] Object of the invention: The object of the present invention is to provide a helmet with protection of the nasal bridge, and to solve the problem of injuries to the user's nose caused by the helmet slipping during its use.

[0004] The present invention therefore relates to a helmet with protection of the nasal ridge, comprising an outer shell, the inner side of said outer shell is provided with an inner layer which is connected to it, the lower side of said inner layer is provided with a nasal ridge slot, said inner layer is provided with a deformation zone at the level of said nasal ridge slot.

[0005] Preferably, an intercalary cavity is arranged between said inner layer and said outer envelope.

[0006] Preferably, said inner layer and said deformation zone are made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) material, the density of said deformation zone is less than the density of said inner layer.

[0007] Preferably, the top of said inner layer is provided with a plurality of support projections, said support projections taking the form of circular platforms.

[0008] Preferably, the inner wall of said inner layer is provided with concave depressions, said concave depressions and said nasal ridge cleft being respectively located at the two ends of the inner layer.

[0009] Preferably, said outer casing is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) material.

[0010] Preferably, a top band is arranged on said outer envelope.

[0011] Advantageous effects: containing the user's nose via the nasal ridge slot prevents contact between the nose and the helmet from causing a second injury in an accident; furthermore, by further adjusting the deformation zone and by narrowing the deformation zone during the impact, the modified morphology envelops the nasal ridge, playing a shock-absorbing role which protects the nasal ridge and increases safety.

[0018] In order to clarify the technical solution of the present invention, a more detailed description combining attached Figures and embodiments is given below.

[0019] Embodiment 1

[0020] As shown in [Fig.1], a helmet with protection of the nasal bridge, comprising an outer shell 11, the outer shell 11 is of ordinary oval shape, and better protects the user, the inner side of the outer shell 11 is provided with an inner layer 23 which is connected to it, the inner layer 23 leaves a space to contain the head of the user.

[0021] A visor 12 is connected to the front section of the outer casing 11.

[0022] Wherein, the outer casing 11 is made of ABS material, ABS plastic is a copolymer of three elements, acrylonitrile (A), butadiene (B) and styrene (S), the contents of the three monomers can be modified at will, in order to develop any type of resin, it is an easy raw material to obtain, its overall properties are excellent, cheap, it is a "resilient, strong and rigid" material with wide applications; the inner layer 23 is made of EPS material, i.e. EPS foam, it is a high performance thermal insulation material, having the characteristics of being lightweight, highly efficient and protecting the environment, in the present application, the outer casing 11 and the inner layer 23 are monobloc, the connection is thus denser.

[0023] As shown in [Fig.4], an intercalated cavity 28 is arranged between the inner layer 23 and the outer shell 11, protective plates can be placed in the intercalated cavity 28, the placement of protective plates increases the hardness of the outer shell 11 and increases the level of safety.

[0024] In parallel, a top cover 13 is arranged on the surface of the outer shell 11, the top cover 13 is arc-shaped, it is embedded in the outer surface of the outer shell 11, through ventilation openings are arranged on the peripheral sides of the connection between the outer shell 11 and the top cover 13, the top cover 13 affects to some extent the sliding speed of the helmet on the ground, which increases the safety of the helmet.

[0025] In which, during an accident, the helmet moves and is likely to slide forward off the user's head, the inner side of the visor 12 of the front section of the helmet can easily come into contact with the user's nose. In the present invention, the lower side of the inner layer 23 is provided with a nasal ridge slot 22. When the helmet slides, the nasal ridge slot 22 serves to contain the user's nose. Thanks to the contact of the inner side of the visor 12, i.e. the inner walls of the two terminations of the nasal ridge slot 22, with the user's face, the nose is not injured.

[0026] As shown in [Fig.2], furthermore, the inner layer 23 is provided with a deformation zone 24 at the level of the nasal ridge slot 22, the inner layer 23 and the deformation zone 24 are made of EPS foam material, however the EPS material of the deformation zone 24 and the EPS material of the inner layer 23 are of different densities, the density of the deformation zone 24 is lower than the density of the inner layer 23, when an accident occurs, the deformation zone 24 can easily collapse, and thus envelop the user's nose, reducing secondary impact injuries.

[0027] A separating line 21 is left between the deformation zone 24 and the inner layer 23, the separating line 21 is a thin and fragile junction point between the two, in case of a significant shock, the deformation zone 24 and the inner layer 23 can separate, which attenuates the second shock.

[0028] In addition, a silicone pad can be arranged on the nasal ridge slot 22, the silicone pad is flexible, in the event of an impact it deforms and sticks to the nasal ridge, thus protecting the nose.

[0029] As shown in [Fig. 3], the inner wall of the inner layer 23 is provided with concave depressions 27. The concave depressions 27 and the nasal ridge slot 22 are respectively located on the two sides of the inner layer 23 of the helmet. The nasal ridge slot 22 is located at the front section, while the concave depressions 27 are located at the rear termination. When the helmet moves, the depressions The concave 27 and the user's neck are in contact, which dampens the forward sliding movement of the helmet and protects the user.

[0030] The top of the inner layer 23 is provided with a plurality of support protrusions 26, the support protrusions 26 are in contact with the top of the user's head, the support protrusions 26 are arranged at intervals, through ventilation holes are arranged in the intervals between the inner layer 23 and the support protrusions 26, enhancing ventilation and providing a better helmet wearing experience.

[0031] The aforementioned embodiments represent only some possible manifestations of the present invention. The description is relatively concrete and precise, however, it cannot be considered exhaustive. It should be understood that, for a person skilled in the art, a multitude of modifications and improvements can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
