Abstract

A method implemented by at least one server (7) for controlling the display of digital content by digital display devices (2), comprising: a) generating playlists, each playlist being intended to be played by one or more of said digital display devices (2), generating a playlist based on a display campaign comprising: a2) calculating a minimum number of play occurrences of each piece of content to ensure compliance with the fraction of total reading time allocated to each piece of content; a3) reducing the number of occurrences of at least one piece of content; a4) inserting into the list identifiers of digital content to be played; e) transmitting at least one of said playlists to one or more of said digital display devices (2) to which at least one of said playlists is intended.
