Furthermore, for automakers, the quality of their vehicles' finish, their aesthetic appeal, and the features offered are essential to differentiate themselves from other brands. Finally, environmental considerations, and in particular the rise of electric vehicles, are encouraging manufacturers to reduce the weight of their vehicles. Therefore, automakers are constantly seeking to improve vehicle interiors to provide their customers with new features or to enhance existing ones, while striving to reduce the complexity, weight, and production costs of these interiors.
