Abstract

A device for the pivoting drive of a tool holder (32) that can be coupled to the frame (31) of a tillage machine, enabling the tool holder (32) and associated tool(s) (37) to retract when the device encounters an obstacle (38) located in the path to be followed by the tool holder (31) and associated tool(s) (37). The device comprises at least one hydraulic actuator of the cylinder type, interposable between the frame (31) and the tool holder (32), a recoverable energy accumulator, and a feeler (4) that can be coupled to the tool holder (32) and / or to at least one associated tool (37). The first chamber of the cylinder (5) is connected to a pressurized fluid inlet line and a closable fluid outlet line equipped with a shut-off device that engages with the feeler (4).This sealing element is configured to move from the closed position to the open position for venting the first chamber, in the stressed state of the probe (4).
