Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for extracting hot air from buildings for portable air conditioners comprising a double-glazed window or French door pane (1) characterized in that the pane (1) has an opening (2) integrated into the glass during manufacturing, allowing the passage of a hot air exhaust hose from a portable air conditioner to the outside. The opening is equipped with a system (3) that allows the opening (2) to be closed when not in use. Figure for the abstract: [Fig 3]

Description

Title of the invention: Double glazing with integrated opening for extracting hot air from portable air conditioners

[0001] The present invention is a double-glazed window pane with an opening integrated into the double glazing to extract hot air from portable air conditioners, thus maintaining the efficiency of the double glazing. It allows the hot air from portable air conditioners to be vented outside buildings. This invention is intended for windows and French doors equipped with double glazing. It is simply a matter of replacing the pane of a double-glazed window or French door with a double-glazed window pane with an integrated opening to extract hot air from portable air conditioners, thereby maintaining the efficiency of the double glazing.

[0002] Windows and French doors are often left ajar to allow the exhaust hose of portable air conditioners to vent hot air to the outside. Leaving the door open allows hot air to enter from outside, resulting in significant heat loss.

[0003] The opening integrated into the manufacture on a double-glazed glass panel according to the invention allows the hot air from mobile air conditioners to be evacuated to the outside without partially opening the windows and French doors.

[0011] With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a double-glazed glass panel (1), with an integrated opening that allows the passage of the hot air exhaust hose from the mobile air conditioners to the outside of the buildings (2), the opening is fitted with a cap which is made of double glazing which allows the opening to be closed when it is not in use (3), the effectiveness of the double glazing is maintained by the sealing of the cap, all mounted on a window or French window (4).

System for extracting hot air to the outside of buildings for mobile air conditioners comprising a double-glazed window or French window (4) pane (1) characterized in that the pane (1) has an opening (2) integrated into the double-glazed pane during manufacture, allowing the passage of a hot air exhaust pipe from a mobile air conditioner to the outside, the opening is equipped with a system (3) which allows said opening (2) to be closed when not in use.

2. System according to claim 1 characterized in that the system which allows the integrated opening (2) to be closed is a double-glazed stopper (3).

3. System according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the opening (2) is integrated into the lower part of the glass (1) in order to minimize the visual impact.
