Abstract

The invention relates to a method for demodulating a data frame received on a transmission channel, the frame comprising symbols modulating N words of information respectively, the method comprising the determination (301) of a symbol probability distribution for each symbol of the frame, the determination (302) of a set of so-called relative probability distributions, a relative distribution being representative of the possible values ​​of a difference between symbols, the determination (303) of a set of masking distributions, a masking distribution being associated with a particular relative distribution and determined by at least one parameter fitted by optimization of a loss function, the determination (304) of a set of relative distributions weighted by convolution of at least one masking distribution with a corresponding relative distribution,and the demodulation (305) of the frame by relating at least a part of the weighted probability distributions with initial symbol probability distributions.
