Abstract

Guardrail, comprising a rail blocker (2), two sides (1) of which are joined by a junction (3) and are provided with two oblong slots (5), which rest on an inscribed circle of diameter D, are inclined with respect to the junction (3) and are delimited by two perimeters (7), interrupted by an opening (9) made in the junction (3) and of which a key (13) is movable between the two sides (1) along the junction (3), the guardrail also comprising a rail (11), which extends in a longitudinal direction L and of which a useful length (L1) is delimited by two opposite safety lengths (L2), the useful length (L1) having a diameter D1, less than or equal to the diameter D of the inscribed circle, to allow the introduction of the rail (11) into the two oblong slots (5) through the opening (9) of the junction (3).According to the invention, the two safety lengths (L2) have a section (10) of diameter D2, greater than the diameter D of the inscribed circle, to block a translation of the rail (11) along the longitudinal direction L, tending to introduce one or the other of the safety lengths (L2) into one or the other of the oblong lights (5) of the rail blocker (2).
