Abstract
The proposed system consists of devices and methods used for the direct and automatic detection of current and copper cable theft. It includes sensors for checking the continuity of the neutral conductor (1) and measuring the current flow in single-phase and three-phase telemetered meters (2), a magnetic contact (7) for detecting tampering with the meter's optical interface port (8), a single-phase and three-phase portable current flow control device, a fixed device for measuring currents in the boxes of large-capacity metering systems (21, 22, 23, 24, 25) as well as a device for checking the operation of the box door (26, 27). All devices are accompanied by their respective operating methods and are able to detect anomalies, control doors and remote monitoring with real-time notifications, via telemetry. The system offers targeted control without the physical presence of a technician at the meter and enhanced security against interference.
