SEPARATION OF SPERM WITH SUPERIOR SPERM WITHOUT CENTRIFUGATION (SUNs)

Abstract

This invention concerns the Separation of Sperm with Superior Sperm Without Centrifugation (SUNs). Technological inventions related to sperm preparation without centrifugation have also been disclosed, but existing inventions still have weaknesses and limitations, including a more complicated manufacturing process, availability of goods, and relatively high prices. This proposed invention is intended to overcome the problems stated above by making a simpler sperm preparation tool without centrifugation. In this method, 1 ml of sperm is placed in the outer tube, 1.2 ml of preparation medium is put into the inner tube until it is full and then some of it moves to the outer chamber. This tool is then closed and transferred to an incubator at 37oC for 60 minutes. During the incubation period, the sperm will move against gravity towards the surface of the liquid and the inner chamber. The sperm is then harvested from the inner tube of the tool.
