Abstract
PRESSURE REDUCTION STATION (PRS) SYSTEM CNG WITH THERMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM BASED ON WATER CHAMBER AND HEATED TUBINGThis invention relates to a Pressure Reduction System (PRS) equipped with a regulator heating system to maintain temperature stability during the process of reducing the pressure of high-pressure gas, especially Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). This invention consists of a ball valve, double nipple, tee, regulator, pressure gauge, needle valve, water chamber, heating element, temperature controller, water pump, water hose, and PRS board as a component mounting frame. The water chamber functions as a heat storage medium that is heated by the heating element and automatically controlled by the temperature controller. The heat is circulated by a water pump through a water hose to the regulator so that the regulator temperature remains stable during the gas pressure reduction process.In addition, the needle valve functions as a discharge valve to release the remaining gas remaining in the pipeline or hose after the distribution process is complete, thereby increasing safety aspects and ease of maintenance. With this configuration, this invention is able to reduce the risk of freezing in the regulator due to a decrease in gas pressure, maintain the stability of gas flow, increase operational reliability, and provide a better level of safety compared to conventional PRS systems.
