Abstract

This invention regarding touch therapy has been around for centuries, and continues to evolve into various models and styles. This therapy has been practiced by various groups and is believed to reduce muscle pain, relieve stress, and provide relaxation. One touch therapy that is part of sensory integration is deep touch pressure therapy. By applying deep pressure to the body of an individual experiencing anxiety disorders, the body will feel embraced and the user will feel calmer. Current deep touch pressure therapy devices still have limitations in mobility and flexibility, so further design studies are needed to support the invention of flexible therapy devices. This invention is a vest-shaped therapy device that uses a strap tightening mechanism to provide a pressure sensation to the user.The simple shape of the vest can be a solution to the need for a therapy tool that is easy to carry and apply.
