Vehicle information display image

Abstract

This image is projected onto the steering wheel of a vehicle by an image projection device. The image shown in the image diagram is projected so as to be superimposed on the steering wheel rim, as shown in the reference diagram showing the usage state, to inform the vehicle occupants of the vehicle's behavior and status. The image may also change color depending on the vehicle's status. For example, when switching from automated driving to manual driving or when encouraging the vehicle occupants to grip the steering wheel, the image may be projected in a red or yellow color. The image may also be periodically changed (for example, flashing or fading) to attract the attention of the vehicle occupants.
