Active ingredient administration aid

Abstract

This article is an aid used to apply a microneedle device to the skin for administering active ingredients such as drugs. By using this article, the user can apply the microneedle device to the skin with more appropriate force than when applying the microneedle device directly with their hands. To use the article, the microneedle device is set on the article. When the microneedle device is set, the switch portion (arm portion and piston portion) rises upward, as shown in the "AA cross-sectional view of the changed state." With the microneedle device set, the stopper portion and rib portion support the microneedle device, and the eaves portion holds the microneedle device so that it does not protrude from the top of the article. With the microneedle device set, the user places the back side of the article on the skin and presses the piston portion toward the skin. The claw portion then grips the microneedle device. Further pressing the piston portion causes the microneedle device to move over the protrusions on the side of the stopper portion, proceed downward, and reach the skin. This allows the microneedle to abut against or puncture the skin. The claws of this product grip the microneedle device, so when the user removes the product from the skin, the microneedle device leaves the skin along with the product. When setting the microneedle device on the product, a stage can be used as shown in the "Reference diagram showing the state of use."
